Thought the 1st: Wow, hey, seems my metabolism has Emeril'd out on me and KICKED IT UP A NOTCH. I'm actually a lot thinner and I can see the beginning of abs forming, and yet I'm stymied because I've not changed my lifestyle in any way. If anything, I'm probably eating MORE than I ever have (much to the irritation of my parents, they're freaking out that I'll get fat when my weight's basically plateaued for the past year and a half)...all I can say is that years of being a kind of chubby kid's stocked up on karma for me, maybe? >_>

Thought the 2nd: There's this rabbit that likes our backyard now. VERY VERY much...we don't see him leave it EVER. He just sits there...and eats...or scritches his ears with a hindpaw. I can hear him, almost, "Hm, this backyard has a nice variety of grasses and moss and weeds and wildflowers, I think I might likeOOOOH a pear! A whole TREE of pears! I do think I will stay here and enjoy the noms"

Thought the 3rd: OK, I seriously love Ingles now...if only for their amazing seafood counter. The one in Baton is pretty much a small town in itself, since it's the only store...so they have a video rental counter, bank, bakery, pharmacy, gas station, bookstore, floral place, gardening center etc...whoever built that store there was a genius. But anywho, their seafood counter! Ingles apparently sells the most delicious and inexpensive fish EVAR in the history of the world. Whether you want to get it pre-seasoned or not, that seafood section is like....Jesus (and his shotgun, long story THERE) came down and blessed that ten-foot space of shelving with awesome...I've eaten such an incredible amount of fish lately I'm wondering if I'm part sea-dragon or something....

In Florida, I had a local furmeet I could go to every second Saturday and socialize. Well, here in North Carolina, I know there's a group of furs as close as Boone, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get in touch with them! I've tried the Internet Furry Database, but they're all outdated...the furs who still have that same email address they posted tell me they've moved, or that they've lost contact with the group. I know Zeitfox and Scapegoat are up there, but I can't dig up any way to contact them, even to say hello. The result? Well, I'm stuck here in Lenoir, with only my family for company....

Once I realized it, I had to immediately come here and record my thoughts. I was browsing the artwork on here, and in the "species" filter, the second under "Mammals," are...apples.

When I clicked it I realized that it means...like...plants...but...

Still, APPLES.

Plants aren't even mammals to begin with! Why are they there? I should think they'd just have a "Mythological" listing and include them in there along with gryphons, wyverns, hydras, and similar beings...

But out of all the kinds of descriptions you could choose, why apples? I mean, that's...well...

Yes! If the audience can't tell, I do a lot of trading-card type things. I found something called "Artist Trading Cards" in a local art supply store about a year ago and I've been mildly obsessed ever since. Mostly because I prefer smaller works. The bigger the canvas, the more uncomfortable I am. Don't know why.
But at any rate, they're basically blank cards (the exact same size as all other TCs from Yu-Gi-Oh to baseball cards, apparently there's a specific size you have to be no matter what) made from a variety of media so you can use them no matter if you're a painter, a cartoonist, a sketch..er...whatever! You make unique works of art on them and then trade them with other artists who also have done cards. You're not REALLY encouraged to sell them...
Yeah, but my plan is to go to a con with card that I've done and masses of blank cards. Then I would have given away the blank ones and begun the trades! Heh. They're actually rather inexpensive, about two fifty for 20-odd cards, so the only obstacle I have to overcome is actually MAKING it to a con...heh heh...
