For those that don't know I'll post this here. About a month ago I was in an SUV rollover. I've been in the hospital since. I have a broken pelvis with an external fixator, and several other injuries. I was just driving to work, and woke up several days later in UNMH's ICU. Softer being in the hospital just over a month it looks like I'll finally be able to go home sometime next week. I still can't walk very well, but after lots of. Physical therapy I can at least get around. I am very excited to finally get home and see the dogs, and sleep in my own bed. Thanks everyone for your support. I figured I'd post here for friends not following my Twitter, or who just might not have heard yet. Still stuck her for at least a few more days, but happy to see an end in site. ^.^

My last journal I wrote when one ofour dogs "Oliver" got really sick. We weren't sure if he was going to even make it, but he is doing much better now. We are very grateful for this. He still has several more blood tests, and appointments, but his outlook is very good. The only down side being that we still have about $2k in vet bills that saved his life, but we can't pay. Our rescue work has been cut down, and petsitting as well, so our income has suffered. We're having trouble with gas and food, and these bills on top of that are not helping. In being hopeful, I'm asking if anyone can help get us by for now while I am frantically working on new clients for our company, and even another job as well. We just still have a rather high unemployment rate here in NM. I'm really more worried about the vet bills than food and gas. I have posted scans of the vet bills here if anyone is interested in what they did. First off I'll restate, I hate typing these... I have been asked why I have uploaded pics of our Doxy Oliver, and what happened. While here is the summery:
Fri night Oliver's eye looked a little off, so I wiped it off, and kept him in a separate crate that night. I had not heard strange noises, and he wasn't scratching or anything. Saturday I got up to let him out first, and noticed his eye was doing a lot worse. I took the pictures, and cleaned it up a bit, applying Lidocaine for pain, and keeping him separated. I then started working on tracking down my old boss. (A Vet) Sun morning, his right eye looked a bit better, but the whole left side of his face had swollen. I was able to get him to my old boss, and it turns out he (Hopefully) just needs antibiotics, but possibly to have some abscessed teeth pulled.
Overall this is good news. Not life threatening. Doesn't need emergency surgery again.
The part I have difficulty with is we run a petsitting / K9 rescue group that doesn't make much money. (Working on tax exempt non-profit IRS paperwork) Oliver is one of our pups, not a temporary rescue, as we've had him for many years bringing him out from when we lived in MD. My old boss (Where I was a vet tech) is going to do the work on him, and cut me a huge break on her charges. She is hopefully also going to give me some work to help pay down the bill and give me at least a little bit of time to pay his bill. I'm really hoping I can stay on again, but par time to have more regular income. I recently had surgery myself, and have not been able to work until just this week. So I am trying to re-build business, and hopefully have somewhat of an income going as well. Most of my first checks have to go to paying off this high vet bill. (Anyone that knows me, knows I'll put money for the dogs above my own food)

It's officially official. ZolFox (Falcone314) and I are RL engaged. Hopeing to get to MA soon, and we'll be a couple of married foxes. Foxes are more fun in pairs. I am actually posting these things now... lol. I love my foxie, and we'll be fun happy foxes forever. We've had several years of being mates already, and Corwin will always be in our thoughts. *fluff's his foxie*

I never write these.. So with that in mind... I have had a very difficult year. I wouldn't have made it without my mate ZolFox, and close friends. We lost our other mate Corwin, and developed PTSD and a few other issues as a result. If you have had trouble contacting me, this is probably why. I'm trying to venture back into life a bit. As part of that I have uploaded a bunch of the art I have of me, ZolFox, and Corwin. These have been done by several different artists. Thanks to everyone that has helped us get by.
