Posted 7 years agoGood news guys, I'm not gonna quit, I'm just working on revamping my art to do simpler stuff that's within my range, I have bought a full set of artists pencils and q set of charcoal stuff as well as a sketch book and 2 drawing books, and found my tracing paper; and am gonna do mostly sketches, I am gonna do color, but I'm gonna start easy with small highlights rather then worried g about full color and shade
Though I will be attempting to finish what I have already started coloring.

I suck at the one commission I have gotten, I don't feel it's anywhere NEAR good enough to finish and post, I keep making mistakes with layers and shit

Posted 8 years agoOK so you guys probably have figured out that the previous journal expired, and now im here to say that i am officially back, and have some good news:
Im almost at 150 watchers!
So, there's a raffle incoming :3

LION ON VACATION
Posted 10 years ago----ON VACATION----So This lion is going back to the wild for awhile to find myself and fix some things...
Yes this is actually a thing that is really happening, I am going into the wild for at least 4 weeks and will have no access to any computers during that time (or music or phone for that matter).
It's because of what happened this past Monday... I had a bit of a tough time (i.e. got into a verbal fight).
This time I'm going to a wilderness camp called Espiro (sounds like a Pokemon to me XD) . Sadly I won't be communicating for awhile; I Just wanted to tell you all so you wouldn't be surprised by my lack of communication.
The place is supposed to be fun, with mountain biking and climbing and stuff, and I've been told by all my fellow students who have also been to wilderness camps as well that this will help me; I truly hope so.

Except I think I'm addicted to running racing, I ran in the Lilac Bloomsday Run race last Saturday (biggest timed running race in the world) and shattered some of my old records, had a TON of fuyn, and did great! I had so much fun I ran in the local hospital fun run just this morning!
Ran the full 5K i signed up for (there was also 3 and 10K) from beginning to end without stopping! over 3 miles aty once, shattering another personal record! (I ran about 4 miles total in the Bloomsday race, but only the first 2.75 from the beginning before running and walking interchangeably, i ran the full 3.1 miles this time :))
Fit lion is fit!
Also a friend last saturday when we were talking about beasrds and stuff said something funny:
I said that I thoiught I had a decent 5'Oclock shadow going, and he said
"Naaw, you just got whiskers."
...
*Grin*

THE BREAKWATER TRIP JOURNAL!!! (and purring in my sleep :3)
Posted 10 years agoPrepare for a long trip log :)
So on Saturday I finished with the Breakwater Spring Break trip that we took, we sea kayacked around the San Juan islands in Washington state, specifically Orcas Island. It wasn't a Trip any of us wanted to go on, we actually viewed it beforehand as a 10-day nightmare trip when we just wanted to be sent home to relax for a bit.
We packed and went, having a bit of fun on the drive there, which was quite beautiful and I actually did not distract myself with music much.We finally got everything underway a couple days later, and had a pretty nice time, of course we each had our troubles (My shoulder got screwed up) but had some laughs, some fun, and some interesting times.
I will certainly never forget the island we had the longest paddle to: Sucia Island, with a 12 mile paddle. at first look the lsland was just a facade of dirt, ruts, driftwood and rocks, but when directed around a side by one of the guides the water suddenly turned ice smooth and clear enough to see to the bottom (about 10 feet, but still) and the view turned to a beautiful inlet cove with trees running down to the water and a sea otter who popped his head up to greet us, then swam to shore and watched us go by. The second we beached and were finished putting away and setting up, I started looking around, this island, with a name in Spanish meaning "dirty" or "trashy" according to the signs, was stunningly beautiful, the topography, the views, the best trails for running I've ever seen or been on, , just an amazing place. We took an extra day there to rest (and had 60 mile per-hour winds wake MOST of us up at midnight) and had an art competition and other fun things, it amounted to a very relaxing and nice stay on a beautiful island. I will go back someday.
To finish it all off, we had long and hard crossings until the third to last day, in which we reached an island 5 miles away from our start/finish point, we had an opportunity to stop if we wanted to and make it a relaxing 2 day paddle with 2.5 miles each day and a stop at James Island before we were done, but on the day we were to leave to try the full remaining 5 miles, the weather turned against us.
The guides gave us a pep talk of "We know you can do this, you've done longer and harder, so addle hard and we can make this a one day trip and have an extra day to relax; although if the weather turns bad, we may have to come back." I and the rest of the students took it to heart, and I mean that: I was in the heaviest boat, my shoulder still screaming as it had been at me, my arms and core tired, my hands not wanting to grip the paddle, but when the guides started to talk about turning back, i blatantly refused, I said "have fun, i'll keep paddling for Lazlo Island" (our start/finish point), my kayack/paddle partner agreed, then some of the others started to, finally we were all dedicated, we came to the point were we told out guides "You wanted to motivate us, we're motivated, the sea is spraying us in the face, it's windy and rainy and the waves and current are pushing us back some but we will not turn back." At this, I started to feel very happy and proud, because we were all in the same mindset, were all working together and dedicated to the same cause, no matter how tough it was (we probably did more like 6 miles of paddling at least by the time we finished the 5-mile crossing), and in the end we did it, together. It was an amazing trip, a 55-mile paddle we were told by our guides (WOW) and something I truly think brought all the students together.
I just wanted to tell a little about the trip :)
I'm back now and sorry if i didn't get any messages or updates sent, my parents are here for a visit, so i get a break, then everything returns to normal.

So there are things I have learned about this program I am at, obviously I can access FA through the libraries'' computers, but only for an hour and only on Saturdays. So I shall still be here, but much less.
I won't be going home for spring break in April, so I won't have that 18 days of normal I had hoped for *sigh*
But this program aint as hard or bad as I had thought, get up, do chores, some simple classes, shop, cook, activities like Skiing and such, great people (both "students" and "Faculty" both).
But Again I WILL NOT be here much. I would like you to continue as normal though.

Posted 11 years agoBefore i start let me just thank EVERYONE for nearly 2000 pageviews (1900!), 79 watches and over 100 faves in the short time I've been on FA, You've made this an awesome experience I won't forget
OK guys so some of you may remember a long while ago where I talked about being forced to go to a camp in Arizona for a couple months, and we avoided it.
Well, it's happening again, I'm being forced to go to a thing in Idaho (where i lived for over 18 years before moving here) that will last up to a year or more. I will be unable to bring my netbook, tablet, or iPod and can only use their computers for what looks like about a half hour a day. I have never been able to access Furaffinity from any computer except my own, and therefore I think that I will probably be unable to access it there. I am NOT ending my furry-ness or deleting any of my accounts, I will still be a 100% fur and will participate here and other places whenever i can (I'm supposed to get a few breaks every few months)
I beg all of you not to unwatch and/or unfriend me, as I do not have a choice in this. I know it is probably not my place to ask, but Please if you read this, submit a comment so that i know, even if all you put in that comment is a period or something.
Thank you everyone for your understanding and I will be glad to answer any questions.

RatHead:
My sona is an African Cartoon Lion, He is inspired by my own likes, the 2 biggest inspirations for him being Tom from Tom and Jerry, and Simba/Mufasa from The Lion King.
Butch, (known by his nickname RatHead, after his favorite drummer) is a tall african lion and the king of his own pride of lions. He was born in the wild and grew up there, but has become more "civilized" if you can call it that, that means learning to walk anthro, and other things. He is still a prankster and loves to have fun though. He will not deal with anyone who is rude to him, family, or friends, and will defend anyone he respects if he needs to.
His birthdate is October 13 (muahahaha) 1986
He LOVES having fun in ANY way possible, and likes trying new things too!

My sona is an African Cartoon Lion, He is inspired by my own likes, the 2 biggest inspirations for him being Tom from Tom and Jerry, and Simba/Mufasa from The Lion King.
Butch, (known by his nickname RatHead, after his favorite drummer) is a tall african lion and the king of his own pride of lions. He was born in the wild and grew up there, but has become more "civilized" if you can call it that, that means learning to walk anthro, and other things. He is still a prankster and loves to have fun though. He will not deal with anyone who is rude to him, family, or friends, and will defend anyone he respects if he needs to.
His birthdate is October 13 (muahahaha) 1986

bountyhunter7 has been bullying and harassing i and other users, and though i have blocked him, he is now trying to get me banned for being underage, which all of my friends know is untrue. I can't figure out how to report someone, (i figured it out, but please still do anything you can, the more they get on this guy, the better) so if any (or better, multiple) of my friends/watchers report him for bullying and harassment i think the mods will take notice and ban him.
Just so you know this is not me bellyaching, I know for sure that he has also bothered
pinfox80 and pinfox can confirm that, he has bothered others too, but i do not currently remember their names.

You're probably thinking "What's the big deal about that?"
Ok so I have 3 best friends irl, one of them is a girl who has has a similar life to mine, and we share the same likes in tv, music, even favorite comedian! (This sentence above is the shortest possible way of saying that, and it leaves a ton out)
Well something happened to her a while ago and she was physically unable to talk to me in any way, save for a call after she... "got better". Other than that nothing for almost a year.
Also she lives far away from me so it's not like we can just visit and chat, and yes I have been contacting her on FB.
So pretty much what I'm saying is that I'm happy because I finally got to talk to her again and catch up, and she's doing very well, which is awesome
Just wanted to post this right after it happened, don't really know why, probably cause I'm very happy and wanna spread the joy or some odd thing like that XD

Posted 11 years agoHey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I probably will not be on much until after the holiday season (including New Years) as I am spending time with my family, especially my older brother since I am not sure when I am gonna be able to see him again. Everything should be back to normal after, but I wanted to let you guys know so that you wouldn't wonder and be surprised.

Finally no more procrastinatin i did it!
now i'll have a replacement for this crappy 5-year old netbook.....
I already kind of miss this netboo-naaahhhhh *tosses it to the side nonchalantly and dances*
This is what I got (yes i know it's not a Wacom or Surface or iPad or somethin like that, but it's perfect for me and my needs, and I'm SO FREAKIN HAPPY!!!!!!)

That's right I BOUGHT A GUITAR!!
My first electric guitar ever, and to add to that it's a LES PAUL! and an Epiphone too! Which is just the guitar that Slash, THE Slash, my favorite guitarist, has himself!
This video does a bad job of showing just how ecstatic i am, cause i am MAD with enthusiasm!!!! I CAN FINALLY PLAY MY ROCK AND METAL TUNES!!!!

Posted 11 years agoWho watches someone and removes it before the person even has a chance to thank him/her and see who they are? if anyone saw who watched me on my watch lists and can tell me, thanks.
I also found out recently that I girl who liked me and i liked her, who worked at a french resturant/cafe was let go. why did we like each other? we both have bad acne and understood how hard it is to deal with in life, people seeing it, etc. she even remarked once how some customers had asked her if it was psoriasis! *facepawlm* but the last time i saw her was a few months ago, then i got sick, and have been hoping to see her ever since so i could get her # and we could chat and continue to be friends! i still don't know her last name or #, and havent been able to find her on Facebook.
Damn.
On another note I hopefully will have some good news for you guys soon, it depends on if something goes through... trust me if this thing happens, i shall be ecstatic!

Posted 11 years agoMy brother is home for thanksgiving, I still don't have a job, i don't have my tablet yet, I am having trouble choosing which guitar to get as my first electric guitar ever, found some pics of the con on my phone (upload pending soon)
... and I just lost a watcher.
Why? why cant you let me try to fix whatever is wrong? why not talk to me about it? or at the very least, just say nothing but goodbye; as that's better than giving me hope and then crushing it.
