Update on life (if anyone cares)
Posted 9 years agoWell for those i spoke to at EF, you might remember i got a new job in a toy store and that i was SO eager to start there.
I did, and it went all fine, we got to go to an existing store of the brand, in order to get a training on how to run things, while they finished building the *actual* store we'd have to work in.
We were 3 trainees, with the team of that store, who was composed of 4 people.
The contract was a 6 months formation, followed by at least 6 months job, and after that a indefinite contract.
All was going well, i had plenty of happy customers being delighted with my counsel, i got along really well with the 2 other girls of "my" future shop, etc.
On the 9th day of the training, one of the bosses called me in the office.
When i arrived there, sitting at the table were one other of the 3 bosses and the manager of the"training store".
And they fired me.
Apparently, the "whole team" (I.E the 4 people of the existing store + the manager there) ALL "voted against me" (i didn't know i worked in a TV reality show?)... i was floored.
In the first meeting we all had together before we started, they all said "And if there is anything that goes wrong, please communicate between yourselves!" Nobody told me anything! They were all smiling to me all the time.
They didn't liked my personnality, i was "taking too much space", i was "refusing to be at the cash register" (which is a lie, all i said was -when they asked i there was a position in the shop i liked less- that "being at the cash register didn't especially enthousiated me", that i "preferred counseling to handling money, but that of course i'd cash people in if needed"...)... and a full lot of assorted bullshit on that note.
My future colleagues? They didn't even consulted them.... MY manager, of the future shop? Never even saw her.. she was on holidays...
So let me get it straight:
I was fired to appease/please people i was anyway NOT going to be working with, in the end.
I was fired without being able to say a word for myself, by a manager who was NOT MY manager.
I was fired for "being myself" (they saw me 3 times in interviews and it's not like i am a "Jeckyll and Hyde" type of person... I am myself all the time)!
So now i'm back to square one, unemployed and broke as hell, but i am pretty shattered and i feel soooo shitty...
Am i such a monster?Is being myself such a crime?
I dunno how i'm gonna pay my rent/food/electricity/whatever...
I am open for commissions for custom MLPs and perler beads stuff...

He was last seen at the Marseille Airport, but never boarded the plane he was supposed to get back to Montreal.
He hasn't been reached by phone or connected to any social media since.
He looks like this:

Because making badges like that requires time and tools that i cannot really use easily at EF.

This makes impossible to pay my rent and food for the next two months.

Vector_the_crocodile to make me a nice banner to advertise my bead badges on FA.
I sent the request for a week-long advertising campaign to their service TWO WEEKS ago.
(They say in their "advertisement" section that they answer in 3/4 days).
Still haven't heard anything from them.
This is getting severely annoying!

Posted 11 years agoOn the Friday evening, PonyHeart and me decided to have dinner at the bar in the lobby.
We took along our sketchbooks "in case we meet someone who might want to draw in it".
Quickly, people joined us at the table and we were chatting happily.
We decided to go suit for the Fursuit friendly dance.
We were so busy chatting that we were quite distracted.
Once upstairs, we suddently realized that none of us picked up the sketchbooks, that have been left lying on the table.
We went back downstairs immediately and.....
They were gone. In less than 15 minutes.
Bar staff didn't see them, Con Ops never got them back, nor did the Reception of the hotel.
They simply got stolen (yes, if someone didn't turn them in, i call that person a friggin THIEF).
It infuriates me to no end.
WHY would someone steal art featuring another's person's character???
I had memories in that book dating back to EF 11.

It's unfair to the artist.

My landlord is dragging me to court.
Reasons?
She claims i don't tend to my garden (WRONG!) and the sidewalk in front of the house (WRONG again!)..
She requests that i pay my rent on the 1rst of each month (explained her countless times that it's impossible for me as i'm never paid on the 1rst)
And she asks me to pay for the water an amount she claims i owe her.. after verification, she asks for about 36 months of payment..
And i'm in this apartment for.. 2 years only...? Moved in in 2011... o_O..
Also i pay an amount in my rent, as a "provision" that she forgot to deduct from her calculations..
Apparently it's HER who owes me money.. and quite a sum, i must add!
So tomorrow i'll go see a lawyer... i won't go down without a fight..
I'm nice and kind and cuddly.. but she won't like me when i'm angry!!!!

My EF mistake..

On the first day, i did the mistake of selling rolls of 100 pieces at the price of 50..
My mistake, i know, i should have checked more carefully, but i am terrible with humbers and hinesty thought they were rolls of 50.
What bothers and pains me is that only two of my customers were honest enough to come and tell me "i think you made a mistake" .. thank YOU guys!
The others, noone said a word...
So i basically lost 7,5 euros per roll... :/
My fault..
But i'm disappointed.

Thanks to that fucking new boss who cannot even tie her shoelaces without my help.
Reason? She "thought i'd be "seasoned" by now, being there for 2 years, and i look so "distabilized" to her..
Well yeah, she changed the whole office procedures overnight, not a single shortcut on my computer is working anymore....
Sorry for being a bit "surprised".. i might have platic and metal implants in my body, but i'm not a Borg, eh, bitch! I can't adapt that quickly..
I work until wednesday then i'm out.
She's on holidays and had the message delivered by someone else.
Yes, she took that position on 1rst of July.. and she's already on holidays for 15 days!
And she can't even carry her own decisions and bad news to people..
And that bitch earns 14.500€ a MONTH!!! (and that's no typo.. 14 fucking THOUSAND euros)
I'm disgusted to no end..
Now i REALLY need to sell my glowsticks at EF to pay for my rent and food!!
