Pawprint Scarves and Still Working Through Notes!
General | Posted 4 years agoHowdy again all! I am still slowly working my way through notes doing icons as I can. If you've sent me a note, you'll hear from me eventually! Honestly notes are coming in faster than I can draw so it may take a little time to get to you, but I promise I WILL get to you eventually. Thank you all for your continued support! I'm finally back to my real job but I've collected some debts over the last several months because of unemployment's inadequacies (still no help from them...) so you all are really helping me put a dent in that debt. Thank you so much for supporting me and feeding my Monster Hunter addiction!
Now on another note entirely, my sister is struggling herself with everything going on. She's a single mother of two with almost no help from their father and unfortunately and she just lost her job unexpectedly this week when the company she's worked for almost 14 years now decided to get rid of their entire customer service department with no warning. She's going to be in a tight spot for a while unfortunately as she looks for a new job. She does have a side hobby though and I thought this would be a good place to share it... she crochets scarves and hats but... with little pawprints crocheted right into them! They're super adorable and I figured what wonderful group of people out there could possibly appreciate how cute these pawprint goodies are more than my fellow furs. I would like to share her little website here (the website is like, straight out of the 80s, but so is she!) so that you guys can check out some of her creations and see if any catch your eye. They make awesome gifts and I know she's open to commissions. She could probably even make a scarf or hat inspired by the colors of your fursona with little pawprints on it if she can find the perfect yarn. I'd appreciate you guys giving it a look if you can. She could definitely use a little pick-me-up with boosted sales after how badly this week has gone for her.

Icon Commissions Slowing Down, But Not Officially Closed!
General | Posted 4 years agoHello again everybody!
I managed to put a serious dent in my backlog of icon request notes. As of right this moment, the oldest note I have in my inbox that I haven't responded to yet is just under two weeks old. Since some of you had been waiting literally months, even close to a year to hear from me, I think I did a pretty good run through them ^_^
That said, there are still many of you who have contacted me in just these past two weeks or commented on my previous journal. I haven't forgotten you and as always, if you've already noted me, you've essentially locked your spot in for whenever I do get around to actively working through notes again. I will not forget about you. Honestly, I leave most notes I haven't gotten to yet unread so that I CAN'T lose track of them. If you've noted me, you will hear from me eventually, promise. I just can't always guarantee when eventually will be.
In a happy change of pace, I've discovered I'll be returning to my job by the end of this week. I'm quite excited to go back and have a routine schedule again but of course this leaves me with far less time to draw. Combine that with everything I do normally and I'm generally quite a busy person. My unemployment situation has still never been fully dealt with so I still won't see any income from that or my real job for several weeks yet, but at least now I can be sure a paycheck is coming eventually. Yippee! Until then and even after, I hope to continue -slowly- working on these icons for you all. I enjoy making them and they've been a great help for my bills these last two weeks. I truly appreciate the support from every single one of you, it means the world to me. I hate to keep making everyone wait so I do plan to try to schedule one or two icons here and there whenever I see a gap in my schedule. Just know that I'll probably only take one or two commissions at a time and it might take me a few days, maybe even a week or two to get it done once I have your info and payment. But as always, it will get done. I hate to tie up anyone's money for too long!
So while I'm not officially "closed" for commissions, the speed at which I work through the notes I already have is going to decrease dramatically. If you'd like an icon, please note me so that you'll keep your place in line indefinitely. If you've already noted me, I ask for your patience as I will eventually get to you.
Thank you all for everything, you guys really are the greatest lot of people! This dragon sends love to you all!

Monster Hunter Icons - Reopening Shortly!
General | Posted 4 years agoHello all, and welcome to all of my new watchers!
First of all, I am overwhelmed by the number of new watchers, favorites, comments and the like that I've received over the last several months. I'm not particularly "active" on FA too often simply because I just don't have the time, but I do frequently pop in to check on everyone and everything. You lovely people certainly don't go unnoticed and I truly appreciate all of you and your support!
I'm a bit late to get the ball rolling this year, but I've been unemployed for some time and having been fighting unemployment for months and still having nothing to show for it, as well as no guaranteed return to work date, I'm getting to the point where I have to start making ends meet somehow. It just so happens that I love making these icons for you and from a quick glance at my inbox, it looks like many of you would still like to get some! So I'm planning to reopen my Monster Hunter icons shortly :)
I might be a bit slow to start. I've upgraded to a new laptop since I was last drawing and getting all of my drawing hardware and software back to where I had it (gosh I hate changes >_<) has been a challenge. But I think I have everything mostly figured out now, at least enough to get started.
As mentioned in my previous journal and on my profile, I will prioritize those who have already noted/commented/otherwise mentioned to me through some means in the past that they would like an icon. If you've noted me in the past and I've never responded or the note still appears as unread, that means you're still in my queue of people to contact. Rest assured if you've noted me or commented and I haven't responded yet, I WILL. I will do so in order that the notes/comments were received so it may still take me some time to get to you. Trust me when I say my inbox is a pretty crowded place at the moment. But I WILL get to you, I promise!
Just to be clear, I have some people who sent me notes literally months ago that I haven't responded to yet. I understand it has been a long time and some of you are probably no longer interested in these icons. If so, I totally understand! Please just let me know if you're no longer interested when I note you so that I can move on to the next batch of people waiting. I'm hoping to start a small queue now so that I can begin drawing somewhat full time starting next Monday (4/12/21). My turnaround time for these icons depends on how many are in my queue, but I can usually finish at least one or two a day. I typically won't add anyone else to my queue if I already have about 7-10 days worth of work piled up. And it's important to note that I don't normally draw on weekends.
I will go ahead and start contacting some of you lovely folks today. Just let me know if you're still interested and if so, let's bring some monsters back to FA!
Also, I seriously have like 100+ icons I have never even shared with you guys yet. I apologize in advanced for any future times where I spam upload a bunch of these icons at once. I just have so, so many to share with you!

Doing A Few Monster Hunter Icons! (Paused Until Early 202...
General | Posted 5 years agoHello all and sorry for the long hiatus! I am back to work full time and staying quite busy on my hobby farm when I'm not at work. With that being said, I think I have enough of a routine down to start drawing a few more icons!
I have been contacted by MANY people in my absence. I will be contacting and drawing for these individuals before opening publicly again. Please know that I'm responding to notes in the order I received them, and I'm only responding to a couple at a time to see if you all are still interested in getting icons. If you are, I'll add you to my queue and I'll get to drawing when I can! If you're no longer interested, I totally understand! If I haven't viewed your note yet, that simply means I'm contacting and drawing for the people ahead of you. I promise I'll read your note eventually. I can't guarantee when, I can't even gaurantee it will be during this batch. But I promise I will get back to you eventually.
For those still interested, please understand that my turnaround won't be as fast as it was when I wasn't working. I was drawing 2-3 icons a day while I was out of work, but I'll probably only get to do 1-2 a week in my current situation (hence why I'm responding to my notes just a couple at a time!). I will still do my best to give you an accurate completion date and this will be listed on the queue on my FA page.
I look forward to talking to all of you soon! Good luck out there slaying those monsters!

Monster Hunter Inspired Icons - Open Now
General | Posted 6 years agoMy Monster Hunter inspired icons are now going to be offered in three different distinct styles. The first inspired by the original game, the second an evolved style that was born of my changing techniques, and the third being most directly inspired by the more modern Monster Hunter games (such as Monster Hunter World).
The styles can be viewed here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34914831/
Style 1 - Original - $10 Each
~ These icons are designed to look as though they were pulled straight out of one of the original Monster Hunter games
~ Characters are made of blocky, often geometric shapes with sharp angles. This may cause some extremities to be reduced in size, but all unique characteristics of the character will be preserved.
~ This style is exclusively flat colored. All distinct markings will be included including but not limited to spots, stripes, tattoos, etc.
~ Accessories important to the character can be included, but they will also be reduced to geometric designs
~ Poses will reflect those in the Monster Hunter series. The poses are very basic and 2D. They may include unnatural poses, such as being twisted around, wrapped around oneself, or upside-down. You may choose a pose directly from the game that I can base the icon on, or I can design a semi-unqiue pose for the character. Some elements of the character may be hidden depending on pose, but I will choose a pose that avoids hiding as few unique characteristics or markings as possible.
Style 2 - Stylized - $15 Each
~ These are a twist on the original icons, having developed their own style after me having drawn so many. They look a little bit less like they were pulled out of the game, but still retain the tribal-like and geometric features seen on in-game icons
~ Characters are a bit more fluid in these icons, with less sharp angles and more pronounced features.
~ This style includes a rudimentary version of shading that helps to highlight details on characters. All distinct markings and features are included on characters, many of which will be their own shapes on the icon depending on complexity
~ Accessories and clothing important to the character can be included
~ Poses are usually a bit more natural and realistic, with less twisting and curling. All features of the character remain relative to the characters size as much as possible.
Style 3 - Modern - $25 Each
~ These icons are designed to look as though they were pulled straight out of one of the more modern Monster Hunter games, such as Monster Hunter World.
~ Characters are combination of blocky geometric shapes smooth fluid pieces. Any unique characteristic of the character may be used as the focal point and even exaggerated some, but all important and recognizable characteristics of the character will be preserved as much as possible.
~ This style is flat colored with outlines around the features. I will gladly do it without the outlines if you prefer, but I've found the outline may help them look better when shrunken to icon size. All distinct character markings will be included, but certain complex markings may need to be reduced to fit the character.
~ Accessories important to the character can be included, but I can't guarantee all clothing. I will draw characters with defining accessories and without clothing unless asked otherwise.
~ I can add small details not attached to the character to show an element if you'd like. Consider the bubbles in Tobi Kadachi's original icon or the lightning in Zinogre's original icon as examples.
~ Poses will reflect those in the Monster Hunter series. The poses are very basic and 2D. They may include unnatural poses, such as being twisted around, wrapped around oneself, or upside-down. You may choose a pose directly from the game that I can base the icon on, or I can design a semi-uniqiue pose for the character. Some elements of the character may be hidden depending on pose, but I will choose a pose that avoids hiding as few unique characteristics or markings as possible.
~ This style will come with two versions, one with the background shown above and one with a transparent background.
*NOTE: All of these icons are SFW only. They will not include genitalia or obviously adult content. Clothing may or may not be possible, please ask if you're unsure!
How To Order
If interested in an icon (or multiple icons!), please send me a note with the references for the character/s you'd like the icons to be of, the style you prefer the icon to be in, and an email address that I can send a PayPal invoice to.
I keep the commission queue and waitlist on my main page as up-to-date as possible, so feel free to check it often to see where your order stands. If I already have several people on my commission list, I will add you to my waitlist until I finish some of my current queue. I won't send an invoice until I'm getting closer to your commission, and I will note you to let you know when I have indeed sent an invoice.
As for a rough idea to my speed, I usually do an average of two icons per working day, sometimes more and sometimes less.
Please keep in mind that I normally don't draw on weekends at all, and rarely access FA on weekends either. If I don't respond to you right away, please don't think I'm ignoring you!

Fursuit Parts For Sale
General | Posted 7 years agoI have a few fursuit parts for sale that I purchased back when I was ambitious enough to consider building a fursuit. I no longer have the time or ambition needed to commit to a suit's creation and I hate to see these lovely pieces sit around and go to waste, so I've decided to offer them for sale.
All of these parts were made by Dream Vision Creations, found here
dreamvisioncreations
I'd like to sell them as a single lot. It's about $100 worth of parts, I'm asking $40+shipping but I'll entertain any reasonable offers.

Commissions - Closed
General | Posted 10 years ago
Commission Information:
- If interested in a commission, please contact me via note.
- Turnaround time depends on commission type/complexity and how full my queue is. I will tell you via note roughly how long it will take me to get to your commission. I will also put an estimated date of completion next to your commission in my art queue on my front page, and I will do my best to achieve that date. Please note, this estimated date of completion is not set in stone. If you need your commission by a certain date, please tell me this when you first note me and I'll do what I can. Please keep in mind that I rarely draw on weekends, so it is unlikely your commission will be worked on or completed on a Saturday/Sunday.
- I may be able to offer discounts to those interested in ordering several (4+) commissions. If you'd like multiple commissions, please send a note asking what discount I can offer you. This applies to all art types.
- I can provide WIP images for almost all types of art I offer if you're interested. Just know this could slightly delay your finished image as I'll then have to wait for your approval to continue. This is best for reference sheets or digital paintings.
- I can draw feral or anthro characters of any species, mythical or not. I will not draw humans. I will also draw any rating that you please, from clean art to XXX-rated material.
- I may charge a small fee for winged characters or incredibly complex characters, depending on character complexity and commission type. This is due to the fact that difficult markings, wings or extra limbs may take longer to draw.
TOS Information:
- I accept payment via PayPal invoice only. If commissioning me, please include an email address in your note that I can send a PayPal invoice to.
- I can and will provide you for WIP images for certain commission types. I will make small changes to finished commissions due to error on my part or if there is something the commissioner doesn't like about the finished piece. I will not make major changes to a finished piece due to error on your behalf, i.e. complete change of character, failure to tell me if you have a preference for pose/background/etc at the start of the commission, failure you notice a major issue in a WIP, etc. I promise I'm generous, I'm not going to give you a commission you hate! But at the same time, I'm not going to completely redo everything for you because you weren't clear with what you wanted in your commission.
- In the event that something comes up and I believe your commission can't or won't be finished in a timely manner, I will provide you with a full refund. If you have already paid for a commission and decide to cancel it, you will receive either a full or partial refund-- full refund if I have not yet started your commission, partial refund if I have started the commission subject to how far into the commission I am. Again, I am generous and do not want to keep your money unfairly. But keep in mind it is also unfair to me if you pay me, I invest my time in working for you, then you have a change of heart and want a full refund.
- I reserve the right to post any completed commissions in my online galleries (currently only FA) or to use them as examples for future commissioners. I will not use your commissioned art for any other projects unless I have the commissioner's permission, i.e. prints, printed on merchandise, etc.
- You are welcome to use your commissioned artwork however you like. You may post it in any online gallery, order prints, etc.

Fursona Meme
General | Posted 12 years agoWhat is the name of your fursona?
- Dragon. Original, right?
Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
- I've always associated myself with a dragon identity, so most of my e-mails/usernames/etc are dragon related. One particular nickname I have always identified with with a name jokingly given to me by a friend, Oyster Eating Dragon. It doesn't make sense. It's not cool. But it stuck. OEDragon became my name for everything. Even my xbox gamertag. So, after 4 years of hardcore gaming with a single group of friends, I got so used to responding to the term "dragon" as my name. It turned my head in normal conversation the same way your own name would if you heard someone talking about you across the room. The name, in all of it's simplicity, stuck. It also gives my scalesona a bit of mystery. Others have to question if that is truly or name, or that's just what she's called because that's her species.
• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Western dragon subspecies. I have an entire physiology designed for her species but can't be bothered to type it up for FA, it's that thorough and complicated. I chose a dragon because that is something I've always associated myself with. Dragons are symbols of strength, but perhaps the thing that appealed to me most was their ability to fly. It's different from a bird's flight, and it's appealing to me. That is no longer my primary interest anymore though and I often draw and picture her without the wings. Nowadays, I like to believe that she's not a dragon just because I like dragon's. She is a dragon because they are a thing of mythology. There is no one dragon. There are all different kinds; social, evil, flightless, elemental, body shapes, fins, aquatic... there are very few attributes that can be applied to all definition "dragons" and even then, how can one define what a dragon is if no one truly knows? Perhaps I just like the idea of being able to create a creature of any physical appearance with any physiology or capabilities I wanted, but while still being able to toss it into a category that will guarantee it is recognized as not being a hybrid hodgepodge of creatures.
• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc
Brown because it's my favorite color and can be explained through evolution better than rainbow colors. White markings that are similar to those of a deer or horse because I drew from both of those animals for her physiology, plus I love bald faced horses. Her horns are the color of bone or antler just because it's normal, and her eyes are blue like mine(she also has coronal heterochromia like myself, there's golden mixed into her eyes).
• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
She is mostly me, maybe a bit glorified though. While she isn't the largest, or the strongest, or the smartest, she is well respected and well known in my little imaginative world. And being a big name means big things for you, whether you're the best or not. This is unlike me because I'm prettymuch a nobody. Otherwise, she's mostly just me.
• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
A set of dog tags. One of the tags she wears belongs to her and has her identification on it. Another has the identification of someone long gone but still very dear to her heart.
• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
"At last, we meet...."
• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
"...for the first, and hopefully not the last time."
• How has your fursona changed over the years?
Her personality has changed somewhat as mine has over the years.
• How long have you had this fursona?
I've always identified with a dragon character, she didn't take on her current form until about 3-4 years ago though.
• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Of course.
