Posted 10 years agoSo I've been thinking about starting to post my stories on FA again. I have over 200 watchers and nearly 11,000 page views. I feel like I should give these people something in return for watching me. I haven't actually stopped writing. I just post most of my work over on SoFurry.
So I'm wondering, who would actually be interested in me posting my dirty, smutty literature again?

Posted 11 years agoSo you might have noticed I haven't uploaded anything in quite some time. Well there is a reason for that. Because FA is so horribly unfriendly towards writers (formatting, layout etc.) I will no longer be uploading my stories and work to FA. I shall instead be uploading to SoFurry, given that the interface and community for writers is so much better (I mean it used to be Yiffstar the "yiffy story archive"). So yes. If you still wish to enjoy my work, you can go read it there at https://raul.sofurry.com/
That isn't to say I will no longer be active on FA, I just won't be uploading stuff anymore. Still looking around and faving stuff! I may also post up commissions from time to time but we shall see on that one.

Posted 12 years agoI think in the last two years my writing has actually improved a lot. I have recently found a writing style I quite like, is easy to read and easy to edit. I've resumed work on the Deus Ex Inferni series, and I intend to work more on other stand alone stories (I have one in mind that I simply MUST put to paper! And yes, it's porn). I also realised I really like writing little stories for other people. Especially people who have inspired me in the past, and people who continue to inspire me. My most recent offering "Date Night" was written for 
Majorra because she was feeling down. I ENJOY doing that. I like writing something to help someone feel better.
So yeah, I think my forays into furry literature are definitely improving! (It has only taken EIGHT years)

Posted 12 years agoSometimes I feel like my work isn't good enough. Sometimes I think it's trashy or rubbish. I look at some of my stories that I poured my heart and soul into, and I think "yeah, this is pretty good!", and then that satisfaction is crushed by the story only getting ten views. I know this shouldn't effect me and yet it does. Sometimes it makes me think about quitting writing all together.
But then I look at the 224 watchers I've managed to gain over the seven years I've been on this site. Now, sometimes I think "Only 224 after seven years? Why do I even bother?". But then I have to remind myself that these 224 people actually think I'm worth watching. These people, YOU people, People who include some truly fantastic artists and writers. Artists and writers who are so much better than me. You all think I'm worth waiting for. You all think my work is worth reading.

As for what I'm planning on doing next... well it's going to be GAY PORN.
Yeah, shocking I know. But it's also going to involve Hypnosis, so thats always a plus, not to mention I'm experimenting with a different style of writing. Normally I do things from a third person perspective, but this time I'm going with something a little different. I hope it pleases when it is done!

Posted 13 years agoSo apparently being allergic to Agar powder (the stuff they put in petri dishes for growing bacterial cultures on) is grounds for termination. I had this job for a total of FOUR DAYS. That is the problem with being a "temp". So now I am unemployed again. If anyone would like to help out by asking for a story commission, I'd be more than happy to oblige!

I know this isn't much of a surprise for my long time watchers, where sometimes YEARS will elapse before I submit something, but I hope to keep a slow but steady stream of content coming. So thank you for watching, thank you for reading, and I hope you continue to enjoy my work! I REALLY appreciate you guys! :D
