For the record, those of you running about name calling and buying into the fear mongering, I am cutting my support. You are the problem with this nation, you are the reason we have so many division lines. You are not righteous and just in the foul actions you take or the hate you spew. Self awareness goes quite a long way when facing something that is a true threat, fact checking goes a long way when studying the media. you do not get fooled by lies, or blindly grasp at the false leads that match what follows some narrative. The problem with narratives, they never stand up to fact and they never lead to progression. They simply lead to an us and them mentality that draws normally good people to fight with lies and anything they can grasp at to demonize those who question the narrative and dare to seek truth. Those of you out there who have true logic and reason, who are not falling into the ignorant battle of false lines of division fueled by two sides of the same lies, our hands must join and we must wait. Continue to question both sides, continue to smile in the face of their hatred, in the end, the left and right will destroy each other and we can move on together with the few who actually understand that we are all in this life together and that we can only move forward as such. That we all think differently, we all have different motives and reasons for everything, and we refuse to buy into fear mongering from either side. Most of all, do not become like them, do not hate each other or call each other names, simply move forward and continue to support truth, whether it supports or debunks something you believe. Live, learn, grow.

So I have been burning my keys away lately as something has inspired me like I once was, but I have hit a snag. All the other writing I have been doing lately has including naming people creatures and places, and well I have a large group of characters to name for a sports team.

I suppose I should elaborate, I was crafting something for Linda to do in the background of other stories when a rather inspiring tale came to my mind and while I could not access my external with my other writing I began my keys moving. Now I have the beginnings of a story about her and eight other little gryphlet girls breaking the mold and proving that girls can play the rough sport of Wingball. I have named and fully designed one of her teammates however I am on the cusp of introducing the other seven and I have nothing but dust popping out of my feathered head when ti comes to naming the girls. I am hoping to have a full range of exotic to rather run of the mill normal names among the player names. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I had tried several times to get a sexy Halloween pic done of my phoenix Zessaiya, who happens to be a necromancer of rather attractive form. I made contact with several, watched quite a few glorious YCH images go by because "No wings", I even paid for a quickie sketch. No sketch, no responses, nothing viable to give a sexy necromancer her due on this the perfect day.

I see it in so much writing that what a character actually should and should not know and think given their caste, culture, role, and even species is tossed out the window for a more intelligent sounding vocabulary or to fit a way of thinking the author is more in tune with. You never see REAL people behaving as they would. Life is uncomfortable, and if you want to write you are going to have to express life. If you want to write well, you are going to have to portray something that makes you uncomfortable, because it is there and life is incomplete and artificial without it.

Some of the things I write about do not settle well with me, but they are facts of life, they are the things that certain mind sets would have no second thoughts about. I create living breathing worlds, true working cycles of life, and those cycles are as imperfect as the real world around us. I have had nightmares from things I have placed upon the pages. I have had to get up and walk away from things I have written about because they triggered my own terrible memories. When i sit before the keys and carry on with a world, I am telling the story of a person or people living in their world, not some safe place I have created to hide from life. the whole point is to see life from another view, perhaps a bit more fantastic of a view, or to see life taking place in a more fantastic place, not to ignore what life is all together.

That said, if you see something in my writing that bothers you, offends you, or is just plain something you do not like, it is not necessarily my views or how I wish the world to be. It is merely a part of life that would appear in the particular facet the characters must face. I believe the question that best fits is; if there is nothing to overcome, how do we find our heroes?

So angry. I was getting work done on all three fo my projects, especially Agrok, since that is my pride and joy, and then no matter what one I open, I just stare at the words and can't seem to move forward, frustrating me to no end. My strategy for beating this stopped working x^x

So hey, some good things after all the mess this last week has brought. I seem to have rekindled a friendship that was on the rocks for a while. My bosses seem pleased with me at this point as I have been doing all I can without causing tension to uphold food safety. I have a couple long term RP's going that have some AMAZING stories to them. Unfortunately I wont be sharing those really except maybe a scene or two in art when I can afford it again (working at a university, even in a low end job means a summer off with no pay, gots to save!). we're not sure about it yet, and it's not something we'll really discuss openly, but there is another bit of good news we have gotten in our household just lastnight. No, nobody is having a baby, and no rings have been offered, way too soon for that, but if it's true, it's wonderful.

In other news, I entered a raffle with a decent artist, she's looking to get word out about herself. Even new watchers are allowed to enter with a prize based on the number of new watchers, so it's beneficial to share, thus I have. In other news, I have managed to find a place I can write again, although the time I can spend there is very limited, so it's just a pick and a peck here and there at each scene, but progress is being made again. I have a new chapter of a project involving Reana and her tale nearly completed, then I'll get back on track with Agrok and get her current chapter finished.

I suppose there is a plus side to having utterly awful characters.. no one ever wants to steal my sorry shit. make sure to burn the most recent fuckface to ashes, i want to buy some for my desk >v>

Such a being will strive to destroy every bit of happiness or fun anyone else they encounter may be having, for the simple fact that they do not get to have such joy in their life and can no longer stand being taunted by those who have trampled over others flaunting it in their faces. You see, everyone has it wrong, people are not monsters, people do not breed monsters, greed does not breed monsters. Monsters breed monsters. The thing about the world is that there are nearly no people left, you are all monsters, and tonight, I feel as though I am on the brink of joining you in this apathetic hateful stance against anyone and anything you can find reason to hate, no matter how petty.

I need help testing something, i need people to comment here, and then edit that comment. I keep seeing edit marks on comments, but I have no option to edit my own, on submissions or journals.

So, i have a decent desktop that was designed and built by my former roommate, close friend, and always awesome Kaaryn. Unfortunately, in my move, several of the small heat sinks for the after market cooling system for my graphics card started falling off. Without them, it started overheating and shutting itself off. So! I went and watched the how to videos, read a bit, and purchased the supplies to reattach them. Everything turned out great! Except.. the fans no longer spin and it makes this horrific screeching noise (the cat loves it!) I have been unable to find any inormation on what the hell happened or how to fix the issue. If anyone has any ideas, i would much prefer to carry on with the old card and not have to buy a replacement at this time.

Leave questions for my characters, they'll answer sometime after I get home.

When something is irritating you and down right pissing you off. For all those people out there who just don't fucking get it, cheerfully droning on about some completely irrelevant, unimportant and not particularly interesting subject while said pissed off person is attempting to put to rest the matter that is pissing them off, DOES. NOT. HELP. Nope, not at all, all you have done is taken the fucking fire and tossed it in a nuclear reactor. And when you act like a beaten dog and get all silent and mopey when you finally push that same person too far and they do lose the cool they had been fighting so hard to keep under said stress with the mindless dribble that you MUST know is not helping, since every human being feels stress and anger toward difficult situations at times, it only makes it worse still by a thousand fold.

Next time a friend or loved one is clearly gritting their teeth as they struggle with some task that is clearly irritating them, there are ways to help, but remember; droning on about some god damned meme or some image of two legos that shouldn't snap together doing so anyhow, really is not going to achieve this goal. It will in fact achieve quite the opposite.

Sorry for the silence to anyone that normally keeps in touch. I had moved via mail and airplane. Not everything survived. My monitor bit the dust and I had to tap into my jobless phone fund to replace it. Oddly enough, it ended up being an upgrade to the screen size and resolution for what I spent on the last one. So.. yeah! My printer ended up getting deaded too. Sad gryphal ;v; Been settling in and going through the boxes, put in the first app, which is a good sign as all the people I met in the store asked when i was coming to work for them. So.. good signs! Anyhow, For now, i am a gryphal shaped rock, though that doesn't mean I am a housebound internet urchin. got to get back into things and start making a real home of this den.

Figured I'd try something new. I sometimes like to envision voices to characters. So let's play a game. The characters I have had in art, and in my stories, pick one and tell me who you think they sound like. Actor or their best known character if you aren't sure. Then give me a link to a character you want me to guess.

I have noticed, not just with myself and any past or current mate I have had, but with other couples as well; when one of the pairing gets art of an attractive character of theirs, they will get a lot of praising comments about the character and how it looks, but the moment the mate comments at all, it's like a dead stop to any other comments. Seriously, go through and look at a lot of single art from those in couples. this isn't a full 100% thing, just way too common to be coincidence. I find it both amusing and disturbing. makes me wonder what is going on with people. Hell, beautiful pieces of beautiful characters will sometimes receive no comments despite getting loads of views and faves, just because the mate posted first. Are we really surrounded by that many creepy people here?
