Characters I've written about up for your questions. This time I bring you that lovely healer of small stature and pristine scales that you have (hopefully) Read about in Agrok's story. Ask anything and it will be answered from her perspective.

Hello! i figured I'd test this out and see how it goes. Giving you a chance to interview a specific character. Today we meet Reana, the star of a side project i tape a few words here and there on between rounds of gaming and RP. I'll give a brief overview of the characters as i open up their interview to you, the viewers, and give answers from their perspective. I decided to start with Reana because her face is probably better known than my own.

over view, Reana Shieldra:

Born as part of a genetic re-population project her father helped a close friend with, Reana and her sisters were selected out of a large group of duplicates to live a 'normal' life with their father. She has a sever phobia and two rather amazing gifts. She is a very powerful and talented young magic user, as well as having the ability to instantly learn anything she reads, performs, or receives instructions on or in. Bright, caring, and brave, she has decided to follow in her father's foot steps and protect those weaker than herself after witnessing an attack by common thieves on a caravan.

Tuesday again, I work the opposite end of the clock today, so I will answer these later tonight or on my lunch break, depending on how many there are. Ask me anything, either to me or my characters, just leave a tag at the front for who you are asking about. ^v^

Figured I'd give this a try. Ask me, or any of the characters that have shown up in art I've purchased or stories I've written, anything and I will answer. Just start your question with either 'you: ' Or the name of the character you wish to ask. I will be at work until 2 Arizona time, so i will have to answer when I get home.

some things really grind my gears. it takes a while for things to get to me really, but there are those things that just wear a person down after so long.

A couple of these things would be, Movies that have important conversations so quiet that you need max volume to hear them, while the music and sound effects are so loud that you listen to them from the other room over headphones on the desk at minimum volume. what the fuck people? You want people to see your movie, get the fucking sound right!

Another thing is creeper comments on art I buy. I have regretted getting art of my mates alone or with me because of the creepy bullshit, just ruins the gift. Even worse than that is the creepy comments that have been popping up on submissions of the characters that are supposed to be my daughters. Yes, they are characters, but that's as close to having a family my mate and I can have and quite frankly, if i would stab you for saying that to a kid at all, I would bludgeon you to death for saying it about the girls. They are children, there is no fucking excuse or reason for it. I haven't spoken up out of respect for the artists, but I am genuinely PISSED OFF.

Arizona drivers. None of you fucking morons here know the first thing about driving. I am thoroughly convinced that being able to drive will cause you to lose your license here. And the best part, they blame it on the 'snow birds' WRONG PAL! every dumbass move, every absolutely stupid fuck behavior, has been sporting an ARIZONA plate. Yup, the locals.

I keep watching the world around me unfold into a most ugly thing by the hand of man, all of us. Our governments are corrupt, greed driven machines that oppress us the people as we swallow the social pills of hatred they feed us so that we all attack one another over the most meaningless, trivial things. I could try and come up with some sort of speech to try and send a message to every last one of you, but who am I? I may write about those who lead their people to great things, but I am no leader of men to spark any sort of change. I am not so invincible in the spoken or written word that I can compose an inspiring statement that will open eyes and spark change in the hearts of men. I do not even have a large enough following for anyone to ever notice what i am typing here today, but I hear some rather inspiring words over my headphones that i think many should listen to. Don't just hear them, listen to them. Listen, and for once think with your own mind instead of thinking for the clique; think with your own mind instead of clinging to propaganda churned out by those who want to lead the flock. There is some irony in all this, as the best words for us as the human race, were written and spoken in the 1940's. Enjoy.

It's like SF, without the better features. It still posts in a legal document format with no paragraph indention for literary style format. In short, another dose of disappointment for a writer. The folders are not as nice as what i have over on SF, and not as easy to manage either. Really not sure what everyone is so happy about, nothing new and more of the less favorable things.

I know most of you out there celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, or Kwanza, and I wish you the most wonderful holiday experience you can have this year and even better holidays in each coming year. As for me, Christmas is the holiday, but for my specific sect, it is a day of quiet reflection rather than a joyous celebration. I think i would like to share the details and small story behind a winter holiday from the culture of Titania, for those who haven't read my work, the culture of my gryphon species.

The story goes:

It all started so long ago in a time that was ancient even to Agrok and Tensaih's people when they were young. Arsiel, the great cougar goddess of balance and the forests walked amongst her domain alone, every now and then she would catch a glimpse of a magnificent bird in his domain amongst the clouds. That bird was the great and bold eagle god of the skies, Skardesh. she admired the beautiful and graceful flight of that majestic bird as he surveyed the lands below his domain. Little did she know that those sharp blue eyes had glimpsed her proud and powerful form from on high. both had admired one another from afar, but never did they speak, for the gods of Eldarohnd and all other worlds kept to themselves save for a meeting of the gods. Until one day smoke invaded the realm of Skardesh when there was no natural source for any fires to have started. The great eagle left his domain to investigate the fire, finding dark children of the evil gods fo this world trying to use the fire as a distraction for Arsiel while they attacked her children of the forests. Powerful and brave, Skardesh could not allow such a terrible thing happen to break the heart of the lovely goddess he had admired for so long. he attacked and easily defeated the darklings to protect Arsiel's children of the forests. She was so shocked and pleased to find that another had stepped in to aide her without her asking, and she was even more amazed to find it had been that same eagle she had been admiring for so very long. for the first time, they met directly, and something warm was shared int heir hearts. Surely it could not have been love, for that was a mortal emotion, but it was so wonderful and powerful, how could love not be for such beings as the gods themselves? So it was that they came to be mates, consorts to one another, and in time a nest was built on the grounds that had been cleared and burned away by that fire. From the fires, the great plains of Titania were born, showing much of the life of the forest that was once there, without the trees that blocked the god and goddess from seeing one another. Arsiel was happily heavy in her womb with the resulting offspring of the mating of the gods. While this was a beautiful event to the Consorts, other gods were jealous of their joy and achievement in their union. Tremelek, the goddess of the winds, felt if the skylord was to have a mate, it should have been her. Their domains were so entertwined, it only seemed right. In her jealousy, she tried to kill the children of the consorts once they were born. The jealous goddess sent cold wints and snow to freeze the first gryphlets and try to rob the great cougar of her young. She did not, however, count on the strength and power of a mother's love. Aresiel, knowing the winds were of divine origin and dangerous even to herself, shielded her young with her own body, risking her own eternal life to protect her children from the bitter un-natural cold. Skardesh acted quickly to protect his young and his mate, seeking the treacherous goddess and overpowering her with a father's rage. Tremelek stopped the wind under threat of her own life, but she spat back out of spite once she was free, declaring that a cold wind would chill the plains of Titania in the months surounding the day of the gryphons birth. This proved only to serve as a reminder to the gryphons of the brave gift of love given to the very first litter by the Great mother, Arsiel, as she bestowed the gift of life upon the gryphon race, both in birthing and in protecting the first young. It is why the gryphons of Titania celebrate their troubled birth and give gifts to one another to represent that greatest gift given by the Greatmother on that fateful begining. And so the story is never forgotten, it was told by every chief, and by every ruling Asreigh king and queen ever since. In place of a tree or a menorah, the central focus is a nest, woven of the living branches of the native shrubs of the plains, and lined with the feathers of the patriarch of the household, from their autumn molt.

I don't talk much about my relationship, frankly it's not really anyone's business and most people don't care to hear it anyway. But lately I have miss represented some one important to me because of this quiet face on my private life and i would like to set the record strait, which unfortunately requires me to explain my relationship.


It goes something like this: My original mateship was and is with  Kaaryn , who oddly enough is a lesbian. I have the wrong gender and certainly the wrong body, but our hearts fit too perfectly to ignore. That did leave us with a bit of a difficult situation on the physical end of things. I also knew she needed a lady in her life, so after some discussion, we decided we would be open to other females, for her because she needs a lady, for me because she wants me to find release when I need it.

This brings us to  Jaherosa , I have not been honest on who she is to myself and Kaaryn. I have said she is a friend, she is not. That part of our little story goes like this: Kaaryn found a girl that she fell into place with quite well and a relationship sparked. After a while, i got curious and my presence was discovered. Turned out we fit together rather well too, so before I knew it I had a second mate. So my lesbian girlfirend's girlfriend, is my second girlfriend.

So there's that little tidbit off my chest, so that said, please respect the union.

I guess I haven't mentioned my birthday, like.. ever. It is December 14th and i seen another list that said I should link them my own if I had seen it. So here's what I want for my birthday. (I really don't expect to ever get these things, this is just for the sake of listing, in fact, some of these would be a little creepy to get >v> )

1. A new monitor
2. A new graphics card.
3. Jaherosa, in my house.
4. My birthday off of work.

6. A clone that could go to work for me while I hide off some where and write all the gifts I would love to have the time to write.

12. Anything involving the girls in a non-pedo bear or infanticidal situation always makes me feel nice and happy.

I believe this is done by the character's perspective, so i will do this twice, once for My own, and again for Reana, since she is so common in the art I order.

Raust:


1.) What's your name?
Raust Ironwind Shieldra

2.) Do you know why you were named that?
Shieldra is my Ketzialan dragon clan name, in ancient arcane Ketzialan draconic it means 'lone' or 'sole' And since the words translate backwards, my name means 'lone gaurdian' ironwind was added by the shadow dragon who saved me as a gryphlet because he thought it sounded tough.

3.) Are you single or taken?
It's complicated, me as a fursona for RP has two mates, my initial mate who is a lesbian, and then her bisexual girlfriend came into the fold with both of us. In my literature life I have a single mate, the same lesbian gryphoness, and a trouble interest between us both that is very complicated.

4) Have any abilities or powers?
As the largest broadwing on titanian record, I am rather strong by nature, but all my practice and training is for a far more agile fighting style than a bird my size would normally employ, making me very hard to read in combat. Other than that, I have no powers other than the abilities on my weapons, though those are very skill based in application, ei. they are so useful because they are in my foreclaws and would get a lesser fighter killed if they depended on them.

5.) Have you ever been in a relationship?
Plenty, but the one I am currently in is my last stop.

6.) How old are you?
i am 35

7.)Have any family members?
yes, I have my mothers, Agrok Asreigh, and Tensaih Shieldra, then there's my mate, Kaaryn Silvershade, the three daughters I had as part of a deal with a close friend of ours, Reana Shieldra (gryphlet), Linda Shieldra(gryphlet), and Amethyst Shieldra(dragon), and there is my son from a surprise after one of my earliest adventures, a hippogryph named Saiyele Shieldra. There is also my personal aide, an anthro silver fox named Trixie, not related by blood, but she is kind of like a little sister/daughter to me.

8.) Oh? How about pets?
I have a corgi named Gaiyu and there is a koi pond in the garden... do those count?

9.) Tell me something that you don't like.
People who would hurt some one who can't fight back. Those fuckers are real cowards.

10.) Something that you do like?
I do enjoy sleeping in on an uneventful day, where you have that very brief moment of waking as the girls all come and curl up with mommy and daddy because they woke up early and realized I was still home.

11) Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I like to travel and revisit the more exotic and amazing places I have seen in my adventures as a mercenary.

12.)Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
I have made a career of being a mercenary and now lead my rather large guild against the would be conquerors of many realms, hurting people is in the job description.

13.)Ever...killed anyone before?
facepalming cannot be performed hard enough for this...

14.) What kind of animal/monster are you?
Titanian Gryphon.

15.)Name your worst habits.
I am usually too tired to straiten up my mess when i get home from field missions and troop movements, so I tend to be a little messy at times.

16.)Do you look up to anyone at all?
Yes, litterally and figuratively, i look up to the male gryphal Kehzrick, he's a siege breaker, and though most people hate him for the darker past of his species, he is a very kindhearted soul who gives everythign he has to protect the very people who call him names and even attempt to cause him physical harm, simply because he undertsands that they are scared and angry about his species past.

17.)Gay, straight, or bi?
Strait, but there have been a few steps off the path, not enough to say I have any interest at all in the same sex, so don't make any passes please. It annoys me.

18.)Do you go to school?
I attended standard education as well as extensive military training in just about every branch of the crossrealm alliance with a full mundane education at the Central Arcane Academy.

19.) Ever wanna marry and have kids one day?
well, i would if I hadn't already traded primaries with my mate and were already raising three very fine girls with another litter on the way.

I am quite the living legend, it is hard to find personal space outside of my own home.

I have dark brown feathers and fur with the exception of my tail tuft, it's black.

as one who has grown up traveling the realms, I follow the faith of the Lord of Realms, although i do also pay specific homage to the Great Consorts who conceived and birthed the Titanian gryphons.

Mommy and daddy thought it was a pretty set of names.

I am much too young to consider any kind of relationship and things are not looking promising when i get older as I have a sever phobia of sexually suggestive behavior or displays.

4) Have any abilities or powers?
I am an adept class mage with a full education on casting Vyrekai spells as well as full knowledge of every spell my master knows herself, which is to say just about every spell ever cast, with the exception of some secrets that past mages took to their graves. I also have an unaturally sharp memory and learning skill, I see, read, or do it once and I have mastered it. hence my rapid progression in the arcane arts.

I already answered a similar question, please do pay closer attention.

I am 5 years old.

these binds that keep my power to half and prevent me from ascending to the rank of Vyrekai, and mean people that hurt others.

I love magic and arcane theory crafting. Almost as much as I love my family.

I like to help Grandma Tensaih experiment with new spells and test new twists on old ones.

Once, a very bad and creepy guy at the academy tried to lock me in a janitors closet with him, once I realized what eh was going to do it triggered my phobia and I panicked and lashed out uncontrollably with my magic. They are still rebuilding that wing of the academy.

Titanian Gryphon of the taper winged variety. That's the falcon based ones for the people who haven't studied Titanian breeds.

I fall into panic attacks and lash out against my will when some one triggers my phobia.

Head Mistress of the Central Arcane academy, Shadow Krietz, who is also my master.

It is impossible to have any idea, even trying to think of what looks attractive to me causes me to hyper ventilate with panic.

I went to standard school until my mage gift was discovered, then i completed up to quite an advanced education at the academy, since spell casting requires knowledge in linguistics, history, physics, and quite advanced mathematics.

A family of my own would be nice, but this phobia is making that dream quite unachievable. Perhaps if I find the right person who makes me comfortable enough to take those steps, but for now, I'm just a little girl, I don't need to spend time thinking about that.

No, very much not. Everyone is afraid of me because of how powerful and knowledgeable I am at such an early age.

I acknowledge the Lord of Realms from daddy's faith, but I place my personal faith in the Great Consorts, most specifically Arsiel, the Great Mother. She talked to me once and helped to calm me troubled heart directly.

since I have discussed this already, I'm going to say I am a rogue and let you ponder why I would answer in such a manner when my previous replies suggest strongly that I am a mage.

Only my sisters and my familiar. Unless you count Callista, Saiyele's mate, and her mother and father.

31.) If you could change anything about you, what would you change?
No one would fear me, and I wouldn't have this crippling and dangerous phobia

If you are not going to supply a slice, it is cruel to bring the subject up before lunch as you have.

Fried rice, pork, shrimp, beef, it doesn't matter, I just love the taste of fried rice.

Grape juice, particularly white grape juice.

Curled up in Shadow's lap while she reads.

anywhere that people are hiding their children as I walk by, so anywhere that there are people.

This, a holiday everyone can enjoy, because it has nothing to do with religion or, if you really think about it, nationality. The whole holiday is to celebrate the kindness and compassion of one people who helped another in a time of great need to share in a wonderful feast. To me that is a celebration of humanity that should be enjoyed by the world as a whole regardless of what pile of dirt it took place on. In my eyes, this is a human holiday, not an American holiday. So, even though I will not be able to partake of any festivities due to having to work, I invite all my fellow human beings to join me in in honoring the spirit of kindness and compassion of those people who , so long ago, reached out and helped their neighbors. Give an extra smile today, give a hand to some one who needs assistance, and share what warmth may lay in your heart to show that the human spirit is truly a warm and caring one. There are several holidays about this time of year, celebrated by many cultures, so i would like to wish you all a happy holiday as is appropriate to your culture!

I haven't said much, and I'm sorry for that. I had a bit of a wrench thrown into my productivity, as I have mentioned before that i need to be traveling to really sit and get any work done. I lost my bus ride because we bought an oldish van. I have been working when I can manage to push myself to do it, and Agrok is rather close to posting, but the loss of bus riding has made the length of time unpredictable. I can say that I am rather happy with what I have for you so far, and I think you will be pleased with what I have down already, however, I have reached the most difficult and critical portion of the chapter and I am rather nervous about this. I know it's been something that has caused subconscious delays as I am really worried about this, I know this portion is something I can't possibly have any insight or experience with, and yet it can destroy the entire story if I do not handle this just right. Part of the problem is that I am a guy and this is very much a lady thing that I need to get right because, if you haven't noticed, Agrok's a girl. The only ladies that have enough interest in the story to help me out, have also said they do NOT want spoilers. Worry not, I'll get this done somehow.

In other news, those of you who know me personally and have talked to me lately, the terrible situation with my job came to an end about two weeks ago when I left a short letter of resignation and did not return. I have since found another job that promises to be much less stressful and much closer to home, medium biking distance, so i will be getting more exercise. What's more, I have worked for this company before and they have a break policy that will allow me to get some work done on a daily basis as far as my writing goes.

Some things to keep an eye out for in the future,  Tehferret landed pageview number 2000, so I will be doing a short story for him after this chapter is completed. I have had an itch to write something very close to my heart for some time now, and I have been fixated on it for some time. You may have noticed in my favorites that there have been so many images of a little white gryphlet, mostly done by the wonderful  Danji-Isthmus right here on FA. That gryphlet's name is Reana Shieldra, the daughter of my own fursona, both RP and Literary versions. I will be working on her story, it is something of a tale of emotional hardship and overcoming social exile by simply have the strength and courage to do what one feels is right, even when everyone else thinks you might be something else. I do warn, this is not a happy story, and it has spoilers for books I have not yet written in the Titania series (Oh yeah, Agrok is the first book in a series), and unlike the rest of the books in that series, i will not attempt to publish Reana's story. It will be here and on my other hosting sites for those of you who have been with me here all this time.

i finally manned up and swallowed my pride to see a doctor about the chest problems. turned out to be a rather advanced case of Bronchitis with a concern for the possibility of walking pneumonia. I'm on an anti biotic and an inhaler with orders to visit the closest emergency room for chest x-rays if I do not see any improvements in the next 48 hours. The doctor this time was very professional and concerned about everything surrounding my condition, and she was even concerned by the coughing fits I had in the exam room. The visit was also vastly cheaper than the other clinic I went to. still a bit of suffering for the recovery, but somehow I feel that this is going to be fixed this time.

i know everyone seems to be having them as of late, and I normally don't talk about mine or do anything more than swallow an aleve and tough it out. But things are getting kind of rough. I just kicked some weird illness that was making me feel drained and very fatigued for hours after any meal, even a light snack, but I have been getting feverish in my 'evenings' (I'm on an overnight shift/schedule). to add to that pile, I have been having some respiratory issues that are a bit of a concern since I know what is causing them. I was born premature and my lungs were not yet fully formed at the time, so i have gone through life with slightly deformed lungs. I had asthma when i was younger and have always been very sensitive to smoke and dust. As of late, the equipment at work has seemed to been badly maintained and the product has been let to go longer than it should have been used, causing it to be extra smokey. On top of that, the ventilation seems to also be failing a bit, so every night I get to spend 8-9 hours in greasy smoke. this has lead to a chronic cough, difficulty breathing, and now a burning pain when i try to breath. I started this very journal just after a three hour coughing fit that lead to my coughing up some pink mucusy substance. i know i should see a doctor about this, but I am very ify about the doctors around here. i am not some one to see a doc unless something is really really wrong, in the last ten years I have been once, last year for a similar issue. What I got was a doctor who didn't really listen to a word I said, threw some anti-biotics at me and when asked for a note for my employer stating that I had indeed gone to see a doctor about the issues that had kept me from working ( I got sent home sick around 9 days in a row), he gave me a note that read "Raust has bronchitis, he can work." i don't want to spend another three hundred dollars on another asshole that isn't going to help me fix what is wrong because they believe I'm some sort of hypochondriac. I need some one that is going to help me fix this problem, i don't want to feel like this ever. i don't want to writhe on the floor in so much pain, just to breath, that it sends my mate into a panic to watch me while she cries. I just don't know what i can do, from what i have gathered, this seems to be the way the doctors i can afford behave, and i do not have medical insurance to afford a better class of doctor, which I clearly need to address this issue. I can't let this go on or I am going to end up in a VERY bad spot, but the help can manage to see will get me nowhere but a quick patch.

Okay, so, i have two birthdays to handle with one gift pic, I would like to get something done of an adult nature that kind of reveals a bit about my relationship and covers both gifts with a single image. I was heading out to the bus last night to head to work when I seen something thrashing about in the middle fo the road in my apartment's parking lot. I got closer and found it was a white winged dove flapping about. I got closer and couldn't see anything wrong with it's wings. I stepped behind it and knelt down to scoop it up with it;s wings gently pinned down so it couldn't hurt itself any further, the bird just held still while I reached down and picked it up out of the street. It seemed to calm down, as if it knew it was safe in my hands and even held onto one of my fingers with it's foot. I couldn't miss my bus so I did all I could for it and hid it in the bushes so no cats or people would get at it (Not very effective against cats but I had nothing else) and I went on my way. As I stood up to step away, it just looked up at me as if to ask where I was going. I know there is little to no chance that the bird will still be there, but I just wouldn't feel right if I did not check on it this morning.

I've been thinking about it and I likely need to work on my skills and expand a bit to improve on my standing works. I'm not currently offering to do work for anyone, I am just sending out a test for interest in such things. I'm not really expecting much interest with such a small name, but if there is enough I might take on a test story after I finish the current chapter I am working on.

So if there is interest and you have an idea, let me know so I can think this thing over.

A side note; I enjoy a good joke as much as the next guy, but I am looking for real response here, so please no joke posts.
