i logged into my server and had a chunk that wouldn't load so I went for the easiest fix and relogged. It took forever to log back in, and when the game came up, I found out why. every last block in the missing chunk, from the bedrock, to the ceiling, was replaced with skeletons and zombies. The lag was so wretched that I couldn't flee the area to try and log out elsewhere and see about reloading in a different location. I was forced to fall back on a back up of the world to correct the problem, and learned a lesson about much more frequent back ups, since I lost half of the work I did on the world. >v< I can't find anything on this bug or any official place that I should be reporting this bug.

So it turns out my character has been stolen, name, species, and even pictures. This person is on yahoo, using 'Raust' as the name. This is NOT me, any postings they show of artwork of my gryphon is STOLEN from myself and from the artists that did the work. If ever you are trying to contact me, my info is in my profile. I have had the same yahoo handle since I first joined the service almost ten years ago. I have had some one confused by this imposter confront me in a rather irate manner as they thought I lied to them about going to work. Again, if you are in contact with this imposter, know that they are very much not myself and I am unable to do anything about them at this time.

There's a lot of strange things in this world that science can't explain yet, or may never have an explanation for. Strange animals, encounters with paranormal situations, or even strange senses or abilities that just pop up every now and again. I myself had a sighting back in 2010, of a rather large bird over Scottsdale AZ. I thought it was just one of the eagles we had seen for weeks around the area, it appeared to be flying very high. I was shocked to see a small plane fly directly below the bird, and have it's wings spread farther than the plane's at an unknown altitude above the plane (literally the plane was directly between me and the bird). It was an interesting and somewhat unnerving sight to say the least. I found myself wishing for a camera of any sort to capture the image.

What about you guys? Have you had a strange sighting, encounter, or event that you just can't seem to explain? I'd love to hear about them!

Is a mouse pad. Yeah, that's it. the el cheapo 6 dollar mouse pad is all i really want or need right now and yet somehow they do not exist in my local stores, even the generic thin mono color pads are like twelve bucks with no real choice in color. So if anyone wants to get me anything for Christmas (or my birthday in a week or so), just a plain old mouse pad. damned mouse gets grumpy on this desk top.

So, there are a few things I would like to know and/or have an opinion on. Some of this may take a bit of explaining.

First off, you may have noticed a few of my recent works have taken to more adult oriented themes when I can't move forward on Agrok's tale. does this change anything about the way you view my work as a whole, and if so, how?

Second on this list, you may have noticed i started actually doing other things if i can't move forward on my primary work (like this awaiting review of the current chapter), do you all prefer this or would you all rather see my creative energies saved for Agrok's unfolding story?

Number three, i have nothing against people who write fanfiction, particularly the people who do it well in a ay that preserves the spirit and laid out nature of the characters involved. However, I have not run into a fanfiction that hasn't flown off into left field on how characters behave and how they portray their very natures. Most of them come across as a bit disrespectful to the original basis, and that is why i stopped reading fanfics quite a long time ago. there are some good ones and I give props to those who do it well. I hate the idea of writing a fanfiction even more than reading one though, pre-determined character quirks and an existing foundation that can't be molded too much without breaking it? sounds like home work from back in the day to me. but I have had an idea for a fanfic that I have shared with my mate and one or two close friends. there is a bit of pressure to actually write it for the challenge of writing a shorter story than normal, and for honing skills against a firm foundation to create my own tale from it. You've all seen my stuff (unless you're visiting at random, if so, go take a look already!), do you feel I have it in me to do this and do it right? Even if I do, should I do it, with two stories already in the works and set for long term development?

Last on my list; i don't hear a lot from anyone on anything I do, not even from my friends and family (yes I even have to shake family down almost physically to hear what they have to say about my writing), is it because I just seem unapproachable or personally boring?


Please do answer these burning questions, this gryphon key slinger would greatly appreciate it!

As of right now, Agrok is on hold temporarily. I am in new ground with some things in the current chapter and if I handle it wrong it can easily ruin the entire story, so I have a friend looking it over to make sure everything is alright. However, she has fallen busy as of late and has not been able to look things over. If anyone out there, most specifically of the female variety, would be willing to look over the chapter to make sure it is not offensive or unbelievable, I would be eternally grateful for the ability to get back to work on this primary project.

In the mean time, I am working on a little something to help tide you all over until things get sorted out. the work it's self is another longer project, but it is aside from the Agrok tale and it is a bit more adult oriented than I normally work. kind of my way of saying sorry i slowed this all down because I'm a giant wuss.

In the health section, I managed to see the doctor, pretty bad case of bronchitis, amplified by the smoke of the fryers at work. 60 bucks in prescriptions to knock it out and now things are alright with my lungs for now. For those who wanted me to file a workman's comp on this visit, my bad lungs was a pre-existing condition, and even though it was smoke at work that pushed the problem to this level, they can't be held liable for a condition I already had.

As far as work goes, I have been put in line for management classes, but I'm not sure I really want it. I hate this industry with a passion, however, it is all I got and advancement would mean more money and another management position to put on my records.

I need a bit of information here. If anyone knows how it works to see a doctor with no insurance and no money up front, I really need to go see one for sever sinus problems and an injury they have caused. I have done some searching and there are no free clinics in my area.

After some long discussions with a good friend, it has been decided that my mate and I should meet some furs around us. So, we would need to find furs in the Tempe/mesa area of AZ, or perhaps a gathering to attend, I've looked a bit into the net but come up short. I haven't discussed the matter with her yet, but i do believe it would be healthy for us to get out more.

Regardless of the utter failure of these things int he past, I figured I'd throw this up so there's at least some activity on my account while I polish off some loose ends. Seen this in a few of the journals of artists I'm watching, this is a copy/paste of one. Here goes nothing.

I hope you all are having a wonderful time with family and friends. for those of you watching and waiting on the verdict about the gift story, permission has been granted to share it, only after the intended recipient has read and enjoyed it for herself. So it will be on it's way sometime soon, still a wip at this point but quite a ways along.

So I have taken a short break from my primary writing project to do a gift story for some one very close to me. By her very nature, the story will be rather naughty in nature to be pleasant for her. the issue I am having is this, I am a proud writer. Such a story would most likely get plenty of exposure and hook another viewer or two into my page, but I simply do not want to be known for such stories. I want to be known for my real work and my real talent, not because I amuse porn hounds. However, writing and giving my all has done little to bring me any kind of success. The whole point of a story is so others can read and enjoy the world we have crafted for them to view. If no one views a story, it is simply a mesh of wasted code and effort. Do not misunderstand me, I am still proud of the chapters I post regardless of whether people view them or not. However, it is hard to stay motivated if the work you put forth is overlooked without even a thought.

So i ask of my readers, should I keep the story I am working on private for the recipient, or should I post it in the hopes of catching the attention of others? If I were to do that would I be 'selling out' ?

Well, progress is slow thanks to technical difficulties, so here's something to look at and do in the mean time.

A new delay has arisen in the creation of Agrok's story. It seems after the right hinge breaking on my trusty laptop, the left has been working extra hard to hold it together. Now the case is breaking around the hinge and the display. So I will have to lay the laptop to rest to prolong it;s existence until I can manage to buy a new one. I have one all scoped out and selected that has a decent hd, enough guts to do some fancy stuff if I felt like it, and a really great battery life while running a simple program like wordpad. But it takes time to save up 700 bucks. Until then I will be moving the story onto my desktop, although I find it very slow and hard to work at home. The story continues, although very slowly now. this comes at a very bad time in reference to the story as I am in the final phases of chapter 6, Most specifically the physical start of the war the nook is supposed to be centered around.

That's right sucka's I made some delicious warm choclate chip cookies, in the oven and shit! fear my righteous spatula!

I have received a call tonight from my mother. My grandmother is not expected to live through the night. I have been through deaths in the family before and i have normally weathered them well. This one is different. Aside from Josh and my grandfather on my dad's side, my grandma Edie is the one person who has never used me, has never thought of me as a failure for any short coming. She has never asked me to help her through her hard times and then tossed me aside for more interesting or successful people. but now, not only is she going to die, I have to go be the only one with her when she does. I have never watched some one I loved die. I am uncertain who i would even call when it happens. There is this strange, hot icy ball in my heart that hurts like I never felt before. I have seen bodies taken away in those black bags, I have stared down at the man who was my true brother in heart and soul as he lay cold in his casket, but never have I witnessed some one's passing. For the first time in my life, I am scared and I wish I could hide from this reality. To make matters worse, I will have to be up early for work tomorrow. Another day to be treated like an idiot and like lazy scum just for the uniform I wear and the job I do. So many selfish people who want to just consume fat inducing slop for their own selfish lazy needs.

She never wished ill upon anyone, she always worked hard all her life, taking care of six children by herself while working two jobs. She worked so much and so hard that she never learned to cook a turkey until she was 60 years old, it was her first thanksgiving off in all her adult life. Many would call her a failure because she never lived in more than a run down house or apartment, she never had nice cars or the like. Most of her children left her behind to pursue unsavory paths in life. She fought so hard to make sure they didn't end up like that, but most of them did. I can't imagine the pain in her heart every time she heard of what they were doing and what consequences they met. Many would look down on her, because they never fought so hard to give as much as they could like she did.

Update: As i typed this, I received a call, some one else is staying with her tonight, so i do not have to watch her die.. but somehow, this brings no relief. I really don't know what i feel right now, all I know is that it hurts, a lot.

I have finished chapter 5, it is up for editing. It should be posted within a week or two if all things fall right.. or I may have made it rather long and it will take longer than normal x^x

I have identified one of the major contributors to my messed up lungs. It seems the fryers at work like to smoke a bit, even with new oil. They make me work order taking, pretty much right next to the fryers (we have a terrible store layout). So all day I stand next to those smoking fryers and breath in that smoke to inflame my lungs and cause the air passages to constrict a bit, bringing about the burning and a bit of difficulty getting the oxygen I need while I rush back and forth to fulfill my duties. I have spoken to one of my managers about the situation and explained the unique problem of my deformed lungs. we have explored the possibilities of other positions, now we just have to see what happens from here. If something doesn't change soon, I really believe I am on my way to the hospital.

I had to do the unthinkable today and call out from work. I am feeling rather ill, and I have no virus or parasite to speak of. I suffer from rather bad sinus allergies and deformed lungs to boot. lately I have had several events happening daily to irritate those grouchy sinuses, including getting blasted by lawnmower ejections, having cotton like tree pollen fill my bus on the way home form work, and even being positioned next to the fryers at work when they are filtering. That last one causes a massive amount of smoke to drift all over the order taker's position at the drive through (My home I wish I could sell >v>). So, with my sinuses hitting me rather hard, I am having a little bit of a time breathing properly, my lungs are constantly burning, and I have the blocked nose from hell with a massive pressure head ache.. resting and drinking tea (yay vanilla chai!) to try and get through this to get back to work ASAP.

I've decided to chase my goals after all. If we don't have something to shoot for in life, what are we doing here? Been searching for a job rather hard, and writing away on chapter four, I am on the final 20% of the chapter.

I have a few special thanks to send out there. First of all, Thanks to Nocturne, the wonderful ocelot who edited chapter three for me at long last and the words of encouragement. Here's the situation, I need an editor, I refuse to put a rough piece up on my page. Chapter three has been done a while now, and chapter four is nearly finished. Dreams are a funny thing. That same source of hope and inspiration, can also rip the strength and drive right out of you. I had two people pushing me to write, and keeping me from giving up when everything that could go wrong, did, causing a massive delay in chapter three. Now, chapter three sits waiting for editing, still, chapter four is more than half written, and I find that both the people who were my most adoring readers, and who pushed me to work, have both walked away from what I do. Niether have read the third chapter, one of whom has been reading through book after book since I made it available to them. It really opens my eyes to let me know, I was a fool to think I could create a story worth reading, or that anyone would ever wish to see my work once the novelty wore off. Chapter three has been put in the hands of one more editor, and it may just be the last posting in the life of Agrok Asreigh, for those who take the time to read it, I hope you enjoy it. I have a lot to think about to decide if this project will go on, or if I will accept the reality of it all and scrap this farce.
