I dont know whats up with FA but it just boots me to a yahoo search... I didn't even know yahoo still had a search engine. Needless to say I can only post stuff (journals) from my tablet, so dont expect to see much more of me here untill FA gets there sheet together.

But it's for 7 of my characters (Alex, Glaive, Twi, Revel, Aurora, Zoa, and Michelle.) I'm trying to limit my character pallet a bit. Plus a few people have been asking for Twi ref sheets ^-^; it felt over due now.

In art news I think I'm going to use less characters here specifically. Mostly stick to Alex Twi and the girls, I really want to stop flooding with characters D=.

I can't believe how well I know Gold version X3 It's probably the version I've played the least, but so far I've gotten everything right on track and I'm at the lake of rage now =3 As for the whole Japanese learning byproduct, it's kinda slow going XD I mean there are things I've picked up on right away. Like When I caught my wooper I knew which attack was watergun immediately because I remembered Mizu (みず) meant water. But other then that most of the Dialog I just kinda glaze over >//< Anyway it's a fun learning experience and I love playing the old games!

Last night I had the brilliant idea to play Pokemon Gold version, with a catch. It's in Japanese! Yes a while back a friend of mine game me all his Pokemon stuff and among the flood was a Japanese gold version. Since I've been trying to learn Japanese a bit I figured playing threw a game I know inside and out, could have done it blindfolded, I'd instead just do it in a different language and maybe who knows I might pick up some stuff X3 I mean I did! I did figure out kinda how to type on the Nintendo Japanese keyboard (even though my vocabulary is super limited)
But then Problems D= The thing is so Old it wont save data anymore. I saved, and then checked it cuz I'm paranoid... yeah nothing. I guess that was a waste. Oh well.

So, yesterday ATT was supposed to install our new fiber optic stuff. They did not. Instead this guy shows up an hour late, sat in his truck for 2 hours doing lord only knows what, plugged in a new motem, then turned off our phone and internet. He said something was wrong, and needed an other tech to come look at it, he'd go on lunch for an hour while we waited (fine enough) Except, he never came back! Ugh DX people wtf, like not even a "somethings not right let me put you back the way you where and we'll fix this another day"?!

We called up the help line, and for 4 hours we got the "hold while we transfer you to someone else" shtick. Finally got someone and they say they can get someone out by Aug.7th. HAHAHA NO. they got ear raped after that one until they found someone who could fix it next day.

So today we got a 3rd tech to set us back the way we were. And he had some insight, like the fact that we're to far from the box to get fiber. GREAT. And to boot I moved my computer in my room because we got a new desk that's to big for the computer room so now we have to play musical motems when someone wants to go online. And yeah that's a lil slice of hell in it's self ontop of all the greif ATT has given us in the past! Thankfully the new tech that came today was a nice guy and understood our problem, so he wasn't a jerk when grandma was (very understandably pissed) at everything.

So yeah... Hate ATT for giving us the run around for 2 days just to end up in a more shitty internet situation then before. Internet providers are the worst of people.

I think we're going to try Verizon? I don't know. I just want to finished college, get a job and move to St. Petersburg already! But that is so long away ;_; I'm so mad I'm actually shaking.

What do you call that big ribbon rope that shows up in some fox art? It's like a bow, sometimes it has bells on it. And I have no idea what it's called or how to even go about looking it up. Google is no help on the matter D= (I thought there was a Digimon with the thing, but I cant even find that!)

I was thinking about trying it out, but I'd like to hear how it is first. Anyone ?

The only day of the year when I talk to all of my Skype contacts at once! lol

Because they just had a fantastic moment where one jerk accused another jerk of tracing and one of the judges was just like "everyone uses references, nothing is original, dumbass" It may have been a bit more complicated than that, but I laughed so hard because they summed up one of the biggest debates in art in like ten seconds.

BTW great show Ink Master, doesn't really matter if you're a tattoo artist or not, each episode is basically an art tut. They go over things every artist can use like line shape form shading placement balance ext.

But funny how quickly they glazed over the topic of tracing XD

So I've seen this article floating around on the subject of artists not taking criticism on sites like FA and DA where people often post arts stuffs. I kinda just skimmed it because I was more concerned with the comments it was generating. Lots of the comments seemed to be of the opinion that artists have to sit there and take what ever anyone has to say whether it be helpful hurtful or just plain rude, simply because "You put your stuff out there you must want people to yell at you" or some other nonsense. I was kinda wondering if anyone really thought like that, or was it just a troll snow ball blown out of proportion?

Anyway the jist of all the comments was - Artists you're not allowed to block/remove comments because that makes you a bad person - I just think that's silly. Not all comments are criticism, and I'm starting to think people don't know the difference between, "That's nice, but your shading could use some more depth," and "LOL BAD ART KILL YOURSELF YOLO." That being said, the latter should probably be ignored, and if the comment where removed, I don't believe that's the artist's fault.

Now the article it's self is a completely different matter, talking about artists blocking the actual criticism and only leaving the comments that praise their good work. That's, again just silly, artists out there you can really learn a lot from taking advice from other people. Oh, and people, try to understand there is some legitimacy to consider. For instance, if a random anon where to say something about bad anatomy, most artists would know to take that with a grain of salt, but if someone well know for photo-realistic portraits told you to work on anatomy, that might rock your foundations a bit. Random people, remember to courteous with your criticism, and I'm sure artists would be much more accepting. That being said, artists, those A-holes who just pick at every little thing you do, can be useful. Use that anger and those comments to drive yourself to do better and better until they have nothing left to pick at!

Criticism is very finicky on both sides of the equation. Every little bit is useful if you can tap into it, but I don't believe in subjecting yourself to nonsense for the sake of someone who's trying to break you down. Don't feel bad about getting rid of trolls, but don't get rid of people giving honest polite helpful opinions even if they're not agreeable or building you up. Those where my thoughts, have a nice day.

I won my first few games using my Angel (dark ascension) deck. Woohoo <3
Yeah I was invited to play a game called "Only War" (I think part of 40k?) and one of they players was delayed so we ended up playing Magic for the majority of the time, which is great because I have not had proper training yet. So they showed me some in and outs and something called "slivers" which I now am very scared of.
Also my next deck will be Green (something) because I want to make a wolf deck and need to start stockpiling green and wolves X3

For St. valentine's Day mine geeky bonryu, Podrick is going to teach me the magic gathering =3

Then I am going to take Aurora out to see a movie and come home to cook my girls a supper (Hopefully they can suffer because I'm going to try to make sushi for the first time) But even if it sucks I'll make cupcakes and my own butter cream Icing like I always make that everyone seems to love so much.

Also, I've got each of them a gift too! Mish is hard because I want to get her a game, but she buys everything the second it comes out, but I got her something cute instead, and it's portal themed~ Zoa I got chocolates, because she is such a health nut and she needs to relax once in a while! And Aurora was tough, but I think a nice quiet herb bath some scented candles and a good while to relax will do her justice (she does work a bit to hard, balancing college and working with her Dad)

Later, We can just all veg out on the couch and watch bad valentine's movies and laugh at the cornyness.

To those of you who talk to me on a consistent basis, you guys are the best. I know how hard it is to talk with me, I'm probably the worst person in the world to hold a conversation with, let alone a friendship. The ones who stuck with me all this time I can't thank you enough, although I'm sure you must be just as if not more crazy then I am.
I know I haven't been as active lately but that's just because of college, and more over it's just the beginning so please don't expect any random jump in activity. But, that being said I've learned a ton already, and am amped for more, I've made some new friends, and picked up some new skills. I finally feel like people are relying on me and pushing me to do better, to be better. I guess if I where the Doctor I'd be killed at this point so I could regenerate a totally different person (hopefully one without acne XD)

The Cockless Wonder

They called Lord Petyr Baelish that in A Game of Throwns I nearly choked on nothing, which would have been horrible because I was driving to class at the time. I donno if that is the best or worst name for a super villain but you have to read this book or audiobook it like I do just to hear that. XD I nearly died

I suck at flying choppers, so I simplified the controls. They're not nearly as responsive, but at least I don't flip them upside down after I try to move forward a bit. So, I landed on a building (some may call it crashing, I call it landing with style) and I turned around, and there was my emblem on the chopper! It was like "This chopper is mine! You can't have it!" <3 The personalization of stuff in bf4 is amazing!

Falvie is Canadian, as I found out, so it can't be her. Then I thought it was Fleki (But I think she's to old, and to be honest her style isn't quite right) so the obvious is ruled out before you even say anything....

Here is the story; today in the art Lab/Work area I spotted a very peculiar sight. A short girl (conviently wearing so much black clothes I could hardly find any other details on her!) short black hair, and drawing on her computer. The peculiar bit being what she was drawing, A slightly cartoony black wolf. Very well done too! It almost looked like Falvie's work.

So, now I'm looking to maybe find this person's FA. If anyone wants to help (or even better own up to it!) that would be nice. Anyway, it's just funny to know there is another furry artist at my school ^///////^ (I mean, there are plenty furries at my school, they wear ears and tails everyday, but none of them are artists, just regular furries)
