My neighbor is religious, and for my birthday, they gave me a coin. It's got an Angel both sides, it looks goldish, but it smells like copper... I think it's brass? Maybe... But I donno if it has like a religious meaning or something... does anyone know?

My grandma got me what we call a Golf hat for my birthday(think 1920's paper boy hat) and I looked on the tag, and it said Stetson. Sure enough the very first thing to pop in my head......

I wear a Stetson now, Stetsons are cool.

So this morning I'm up early because in a bit I have to take the demon hound to the vet to get a full body tune up. So in my spare time I wanted to look up something that isn't quite clear in the TOS... In fact it's not in the TOS at all o3o. Not in the Terms of Service, not even in the Acceptable Upload policy. This is the definition (By FA) of what each of the three ratings mean. I found the smallest note on this in the code of conduct, which I guess makes some sense, but it's a bit, well it jumps from All audiences in general to contains artistic nudity in mature. So technically if it has cloths on it's general I guess?
It's not very clear, and I feel like there was a missing rating (like if General was PG and Mature was R and Adult is XXX) there is, I feel, no PG13.


Anyway in the short time it took for me to look up the mature rating and minirant about it's lack of clarity .... My neighbor called and cancelled DX now I'm just up really early for nothing!

I was looking for a ... P Word, but those-who-shall-not-be-named have completely ruined it, and I can't even find one normal p word without tens of thousands of annoying those things. UGH all the references for horses and equines are burred under piles that later 80s little girl's fad I refuse to talk about because I'm so mad DX

Anyway girly horse things are apparently very rare. Onta had a few good references. And some others scattered about, but yeah nothing that I felt was what I wanted.so On the other side, I was also looking for a pose of a someone holding a another over their shoulder. Sadly I have no words to describe what you might call this, and "Over the Shoulder" only brings up people who are looking over the shoulder.

So just thought I'd share with you guys the annoyance that is trying to put ideas into actual projects. lol X3

Stream was as good as expected =3....But then things went all pear shaped for no reason ^^; heh...
Anyway I'll prolly stream again some time later this evening, or maybe tomorrow! It's a fun game Poker Night 2.

They're open. I think I've improved a substantial enough amount. Still cartoony style, but with much better anatomy.

I've been hearing so much news from game publishers about how they're not even breaking even after selling some odds of 3 million copies of a game in the first few months. So I had started wondering if people knew some of the few fundamentals of art, things that I learned as a lil one, but I guess not everyone gets to hear such ideas. Anyway wanted to share these with you, on account that more then a few of furries have complained about a lack of skill or some odd thing. They wanted to draw, but gave up at the first hurdle. SO, if you want to try again or it's your first time here are some Notso Secret Techniques!

1. Don't draw what you think it should look like, Draw it how you see it.
This is definitely the hardest thing to do with out some serious imagination, but Practice makes perfect, don't just give up because your first try sucked.

2. It's not what you should add to a picture, but what could you take away from it.
AKA Keep it simple stupid. Clutter is bad, detail is good. Don't try to fly before you can crawl. EXT EXT EXT. It's all a matter of focusing on the subject mater, balancing your picture, so the eye is drawn where you want it to go, and all that jazz. A messy picture isn't going to net you a lot of love, if your just starting it's easier to focus on single characters.

3. Don't be afraid to try again. You will fail, a lot, a whole lot, a ridiculously insane amount. The analogy with falling off a bike then getting back on and try again, doesn't even do it justice. The whole giving up on the first hurdle is fine to me, giving up early is the way to go. If you keep trying and trying and just give up after wasting so much time... then it's just a waste of time. If you are passionate about drawing, be ready to fail.. a lot. But I have to admit, after the 10 hundredth millionth fail, when you get the one your happy with, you'll fall in love.

4. Practice. It may seem obvious to those who... well have sense XD but you'd be surprised about how many people think that art is just, there. No, there is no one who picked up a brush the first time and just was amazing. Prodigies aren't even recognized until about the late high school level, but most great works come around the late twenties to thirties area. I think Michelangelo may have made the David in his teens, but I can't remember. Anyway the point is don't expect to be amazing over night.

5. Michelangelo's Father in fact banned him form sculpting, because the man would not let his son use his hands to work. They where to high and mighty for that. So Michelangelo would go into this work place everyday all day and just stare at a block of marble, for months! When his Father finally gave in, Michelangelo sculpted the David.
The point is, be patient, don't try to rush perfection.



So there is my ideas on print, enough people have complained at me to justify this I think. X3

Maybe the true beginning of my affinity for animals, when I was about six years old i would wake up at the butt crack of dawn (which would later become completely normal to me, but back then was odd) just because I couldn't sleep anymore. So needing something to do I decided to watch Tv...and nothing was on, just every channel was infomercials. Except for Animal Planet, for some odd reason or another Animal Planet started real shows nice and early, so I started watching what ever was on back then, and ever since I watch Animal Planet a ton, and it's not bad.


So now there is a new show I've fallen in love with River Monsters. All these feesh are so awesome and the host is really bad ass, he caught a shark, with his bare hands and a bit of string! Anyway a new season is about to start(sunday @9), and I thought I'd share this one with you lot, go watch it, it's scary, and cool (and Goliath Tiger Fish are awesome) go watch it!

So i understand everyone has their own little Easter things to do but I'm fairly sure our tradition is just about the same as the vast majority of day-before-Easter traditions.

Obviously you'd need to sacrifice a rabbit to the harvest gods so that zombie Jesus will stay in his grave this year, very important, I'm sure no one forgets to do this, no one wants a zombie apocalypse on Easter.

Of course, later that night the rabbit does come back to life and leaves treats for all the good boys and girls, although it is a blind rabbit so it's known for putting the goodies in odd places unlike Saint Nick who puts his presents in one convenient spot, so Easter day is full of people trying to find their nick-knacks that the blind rabbit has just kinda skewed about.

And who could possibly forget Egg Dyeing, and the very very important reason behind that. To keep the Dragons from killing all of us. Yep, because Dragon eggs, as we all know, are very colourful and thus the dragons seeing all these colourful eggs will think that we are in fact all dragons too, and on this one night a year when dragons are on the hunt for food they will see us as dragons too and not want to eat us, because cannibalism is wrong even for dragons =3

So Pretty common Easter stuff here, not like other holidays were we have weird things. Happy Easter peoples =3

I just played battlefield 3 PC today.

not to be confused with Steve Jobbs, but if I seem to be dead...I'm just playing Battlefield.

First off YAY! EA is giving away 1 AAA title to all sim city players who registered before march 25th because of all the issues. That means a free copy of Battlefield 3, Bejeweled 3, dead space 3, or some other games I forgot because they're not very important. but, FREE Battlefield 3!

But the downside is they're only doing this because of all the issues... and speaking of issues the region (all of my cities) have spontaneously become unplayable. Donno why, everything loads fine, then I get booted off because "cannot synch with servers" and I could (and already have) waist away hours by my self. But I think it to be fun to see what other people are up to, and was wondering if anyone else plays?

So BF3 is having it's update/dlc drop. And despite EA, I still love DICE and Battlefield. And the last DLC is here, End Game, which includes 2 new game modes, old fashion CTF and Air Superiority (JETS ONLY MODE) I will most liking be DLing the patch/dlc over night. But it looks amazing!

In the mean time, I found a new game, it's free, and so awesome! War Thunder! a set in WWII dog fighter, MMO (sortof) F2P flight sim ish thing... yeah

I got shot down a lot. Right now I'm flying for the RAF until I get myself a spitfire, then I'll move over to either japan to get the Zero or the Americans to get a P-51 Mustang! o3o but first I have to learn how to shoot someone down....

Today is the annual controlled fire the Fire Dept. does around here. So, from the time I woke to till just an hour ago the neighborhood was shrouded in a smoke fog, and some ash rain. Yeah it reminded me of Silent Hill.
Also it's killing my allergies, so I'm miserable as frick.

Something about art sites that I know can never be implemented but I really really really wish could.

Art quality scales.

YES along with rating of maturity from baby colouring book to hard core porn, it would be nice if one of these art sites had a scale of how ...good, the art is. That is like doodle, sketch, scribble, armature, professional(not in any particular order). Nothing is more annoying then looking for a reference, something to gauge what I'd like to try out for the day and getting one decent coloured, nice lines, good shading n the such picture for ever 100 or so scribbles or sketches.

I would say FA has a good system with the scraps folders... but it doesn't, what is a scrap to one artist may be the best thing another has ever drawn (in terms of skill).

But as I said this could never be. It would be far to much pressure on certain arbitrary aspects, and really the only one who can say if art is good or bad is the artist who made it...

However this would be so helpful when trying to find more experienced artists on these sites.

I mean It would be nice if I could say look up, HORSE, and not get 5 quabilligishhen (real number that I just made up) MLP doodles that every 5 year old and their grandma decides to post, and not be able to find an actual horse among them.
I'm not saying that ponies are bad, just the quality and substance of the art featuring the ponies isn't always great, and by great I mean any kind of decent, and by isn't always I mean isn't ever......yeah.

So I don't really like the idea of anyone putting a label on what is good and bad in art, art exists for no other reason then to be art, so it's hard to say what the limitations are. But "Digital" or "Traditional" doesn't always help to narrow it down to what your looking for >= Sometimes I just want a filter for "Good Shizzwiz only"

Seriously, I've been thinking about it. I was thinking I really don't have to worry about multiple commissioners at once, because before I was lucky to get one a month let alone three in a week. But I've been feeling really down about what I've been drawing, I just feel like it isn't good enough to sell, I may have been overly ambitious before. I'd much prefer to practice a ton buuuuuuuuuut, honestly I can't figure out what I don't like. It's just a vague feeling of not good enough.

Opinions would be nice. Thanks.

Found out today, while I was looking up Keldeo ( I did want to draw it ), but now I'm sad, because I've been waiting to get Meolette (or how ever that is spelled) and found out it's only released in japan >= I'll never be able to get one >=


Conveniently I think I can get 2 Keldeos durring this event.... one for each black version. Donno haven't tried yet.

Chiko is a Chiwawa, and a "red flag" type dog. He was the kind of dog that no one could get near, No one except for Miss Julie. The first time I met him he bit me, with the intent to take a finger, I got outa there lucky I suppose. He was evil!

Then Hurricane Irene hit us, and Miss Julie's house was flooded. And most people think of flooding as an inch or two of water and all the stuff in the house being swamped, but not this one, Miss Julie's house was two feet under water. I didn't get to see this when it was really deep, but I got the picture when I saw it two weeks later and there was still water half way up the windows. Luckily Miss Julie and her Husband, Who's crippled from the waist down and quickly loosing use of the rest of his body, and Chiko where not home, but with their friend and my neighbor. They lost everything.

Not to long after Miss Julie died, It may have been from her age, stress, or her lack of exercise, but there is something to be said about heartbreak here. Loosing everything couldn't have been easy on her. I've talked about this before, it's really tragic, and I feel so bad for everyone involved, no one should have to go threw this, but it does happen.

So, the monster dog. He would not let anyone near him, Ms Ronnie feeds him, but that's about it. He has been locked in a room his whole life now. The only difference is that the room at Ms Ronnie's is much smaller. She's old to, so Neither Miss Julie's Husband or her can take care of Chiko properly. So, that's where I come in. My Grandma is friends with the lot, and thus we've all spent lots of time together. I've always been good with animals, plus I have a need to help those who need it. >= Curse my goodwill it gets me into so much trouble. And Then I was volunteered to take care of Chiko. Not Full time, He still lives over there, and is feed, and such, but I walk him and come over and play with him and such.

The first time was hell, I had to lasso Chiko like a bull and drag him out side. I couldn't get near him so when I did bring him back I had to get him to run around his pen till the collar simply fell off. But, There is no such thing as a bad dog. I've been walking him for a while now, and he's warmed up to me. I can get the collar on like a normal dog and feed him treats without fear of loosing a finger. We even play with other people. He doesn't walk very far, he is a kinda old dog, especially considering the way he's been treated.

The Problem now is I'm worried about him having to be put down. Yesterday I walked him just fine, today I come back to walk him again, and there is a chunk missing out of the back of him. It had scabbed up already so it wasn't to fresh. But there are plenty of cases of dogs going insane and chewing themselves literally to death. If this is the case, he'd have to be put down, because the pain of chewing himself to death would be much worse. However Ms Ronnie has a cat, Kit Cat (don't even know where they got that one) And the cat can walk the rest of the house. And being a cat, can easily climb the dog's gate... and may have attacked Chiko. If the bald spot if from Kit Cat, then all is fine the two just need to be trained to get along (Which can be done easily).

Chiko is not a pretty dog. He's a Hairless Chiwawa that never had a hair cut, so there is just a bunch of thin white hair all over him, making him look like a mad dog, we where going to give him a bath when he was calm enough, and a hair cut, and make him look pretty... but now I'm scared more for his well being. Also Soap stings when it gets in a cut, imagine what it would do to a huge chunk of raw flesh. Imagine what poor Chiko would do when he feels that!

Yeah, I hated him. Now I love him. I hope he's not going mad and needs be put down. Although I could understand why if he was.
