Hello! I’ve never done adopts or resales on FA before, but I’ve been sitting on a couple pieces for the better part of a year and I just don’t vibe with them. I’d like to rehouse them either by sale or trade if possible. I will be selling them for about 100% of what I paid (by memory anyway so I may be a buck or two off haha) so there’s no upselling AFAIK. As the title says, I’m looking for an artist to do a commission for me.

The commission would be a Star Wars piece for me and a friend.
You don’t have to be familiar with Star Wars, you just have to be able to work off of the reference images. I will provide further description and details to whoever volunteers.

I’m unfortunately kind of poor right now, I just spent a bunch of money covering a fine for a friend, so I don’t really have spending money right now. I can comfortably afford up to $80, but I'd much prefer if it didn't cost more than $60 since $80 is a lot :<

This piece would depict an Angel and a Jedi holding each other closely in a dark room. The Angel character glows and is translucent in places.
This piece would probably involve a lot of lighting & shading work.

I thought Furries, being the generally accepting, kind, and warmhearted fandom that they are, would be above petty crap like blocking someone for making a "rude" comment.
But, apparently not: I just got blocked by  langjingshen because I misunderstood their financial situation and somehow ended up sounding rude??

I'm sorry Lang, I've never had to live as an artist before, so forgive me for being ignorant about your financial situation. But you're going to block me for assuming you were a poor starving artist? I mean, sure, that was stupid of me, I'll accept that! But keep in mind I'm not an artist! Never had to live that lifestyle before! And what's more, the last adopt I got was from someone who needed the money to pay off an urgent bank issue! So, like, dude.


In other news, the one and only type of person that I have decided to abjectly loathe are people who don't give you a chance to apologize. Now, I can't comment on Lang's works, Note them, or leave Shouts. I can't apologize, nor can I be a respectful customer.

I've been trying to avoid sounding passive-aggressive in this, but...guess I won't be buying from  langjingshen. Oh, I want to, I love their artwork, but nnnoooope, they're not going to let me, apparently.

Well, there are plenty of other, cheaper artists out there to commission. And they'll at least give me a second chance when I act like an idiot.

I got an adopt from  papachango, but I'm haven't gotten around to making a personality and bio for the character yet. So, I thought I'd crowd-source it!
