Back from 2 years absence!
Posted 16 years agoEveryone, wanting to let you know that I am back on FA, however, I will be nuking this account after a while because it's just too old and my style has developed and progressed. Sorry to all those who I haven't been able to get in touch with for 2 years *sniff* been a long time. WARNING TO ALL ARTISTS WHO BUY ON EBAY!
Posted 18 years agoI bought a compressor for an airbrush from ebay, when it got here the gauge attachment was broken off at the attaching end leaving the rest of the screw inside! , the bulb at the base where it unscrews to allow cleaning is permanently GLUED shut and I found triple X marks etched into the side of the compressor itself, she offered this :new: and the picture showed the box and everything, she stated that it was intact when she shipped it, what a hock of balony! I seriously DOUBT that it was a s/h accident that it was marked and broken the triple X marks are a clear sign of FACTORY REJECTS! I used to work in one, I know! She has offered to exchange the gauge attachment however, i am unable to extract the broken piece INSIDE the compressor *sighs* when I opened the package ( it came in a box, not the origonal box as shown in the picture, one red flag) I found the gauge attachment ON TOP of the bubble wrap that the compressor was wrapped in, there was multiple tape all about the box as well, so I doubt that the item got broken in the mail, HIGHLY UNLIKELY! After I found out that it WAS broken ( this is my first so i thought it attached seperatly) I contacted her and she swears up and down it was attached and yada yada, I went back to her "other items" and she is selling another one, THE SAME AD & SAME PICTURE offering a :NEW: product and all you get is a factory reject more than likely taken from where she works lol, well not funny, but I wanted to let you all know that DO NOT buy from this woman, here is her name on ebay --> koolcatmc

Posted 18 years agook, so i FINALLY fixed my site and got it up online, though there are a few kinks to work out and I am working on Vol 2 so it is in full color and better looking than the first, which was before i had photoshop, I hope you all will take my opinion poll or post a few things on my forum, I need feedback on what people would like to see changed to make it more attractive if anything! Posted 18 years agoMake sure to click "Akaria" first go to the bottom of the page to "Jump to" and click on "Akaria Vol.1 Page1" and so on, it ends at Page 18 and Vol.2 Begins, which is "Akaria Vol.2 Battle of Brothers Cover" enjoy!!! It will be updated twice a week and full color from vol.2 on!!

Posted 18 years agohey all, just want to let you know that my web comic Akaria is finished, though unpublished, I am including a forum, fan art, news, chat pages as well, so that is the only reason for my slowness, I am looking for people who want to be featured on my Fan Art page for drawing in w/e style they want my Akaria characters, Nalin, Timber, Waya, and Arctic, if you need specs, note me here on FA, also it is a good way to also get noticed! *wink* Anyway, just wanting to let you all know!

Commissions and the Rules

RuleZ
1. I must receive a %10 refundable deposit for art or furryart commissions, to be put on my commissions list. I will not begin the art or furryart project until I receive %50 of the commission price (via Pay-Pal ONLY) I will not begin coloring the piece until I receive the FULL commission price ( that means, that the art or furryart will be sketched and outlined, but no coloration)When the full amount has been received I will send the finished piece vial electronic means or snail-mail (out of my own pocket for customer convenience).
2. ALL INFORMATION MUST BE KEPT UP TO DATE! by the customer (which means descriptions, intricate details, backgrounds, tattoo details, markings, and measurements or other information.)
This also includes customer mailing address, email address, phone # (if provided of own accord) or fax # or other information so that I have an accurate account of whom, where to send the finished piece and a # to call if needed or provided by the customer. If I am the one to make the mistake of shipping, please send BACK the piece and the mistake will be rectified ASAP and *re-shipping costs will be supported by myself ( *that means I will send to your address or other information provided, if my snail mail, a self addressed stamped envelope -SASE- for the shipping and once the item has been fixed, I will send the commission back as before, sole shipping responsibility to myself.)
3.Once the artwork has been received by the customer,(either in person of vial electronic means) the customer has seven (7) days to report any problem with the commission verified that it is the fault of myself and not of undisclosed or mis-information IF it is the fault of my own, I will rework the piece at my own cost. When the seven (7) day period has PASSED, I will consider the work FINAL and NO REFUNDS OR RE-WORKS WILL BE ISSUED
4. Payment is received via Pay-Pal ONLY!
5. Once the artwork has been shipped, and I do NOT hear of its *arrival (*either by email, or phone or note on DA or FA) I will give the customer a total of thirty (30) days from the onset of when i shipped the commission to report to me of the commissions arrival, IF I DO NOT HEAR FROM THE CUSTOMER WITHIN THE (30) DAY PERIOD i WILL CONSIDER THE TRANSACTION FINAL AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN NOR CORRECTION OF THE PIECE.
6. DEADLINES I will not be under a deadline unless the customer wishes to pay a deadline fee of %10 of the commission price. I will NOT tolerate harassment about the time it may take to complete the piece (unless the %10 was paid) If the customer emails me five(5) times within a thirty (30) day period, I will STOP the commission and refund fifty (%50) percent of the commission cost back to the customer Minus the deposit and other %50
The customer MAY email me and ask for a *Status Report (*meaning asking about the project, and how it's coming) at any time but MAY NOT degrade, harass or threaten me (Raven_Silver_Dagger IE: Christina Cheek the artist) in any way
[B] The CUSTOMER may stop the commission at any time that he/she feels fit and will receive %50 money back MINUS the %10 deposit and *deadline fee (*if any).
I hope that these rules will better the artist and the customer that way we ensure total honesty and integrity in commissions and future business/reputation.

WANNA MAKE MORE DINERO???
Posted 18 years agook well, money that is, lol, if you are like me and are completely devoted to your art, but need some side money, I just joined a great survey taking site that allows you to take surveys once you join, and the freakin awesome thing about it, is that they don't ask you to buy a package to join, they don't want your cc info or ss number, nothing like that, it mainly like when you joined here on FA or DA, i am strapped with bills and was surfing tonight when i came upon this site, so i figured hey, might as well, ain't gonna lose anything ( right now loan sharks are knocking at my door wanting their monthly payments and i am broke down just like a FORD LMAO well, anyway, if you would be interested in making some side money, though you won't make millions in the matter of 5 minutes, mind you, you can earn quite a bit, i have already gotten 45! Just note me here on FA, i gotta send you personally some information, but it would take a freakin lifetime to type it on here, i just need to email it and know a first name, or your name here on FA, oh by the way, ya gotta be 16, like with any job :D THANKS, (trust me, i am relieved that i found something to help us out with, my commission clients are nill to nothing and well, i am so devoted to my work that i don't want to get a "day job" )
