Holy cow, time has flown. Its been 9 whole years already? Damn. I was once deep into the brony scene, but once I fell out of that, the friends I had made there were mostly furries or furry adjacent and I followed them here. Since then, I've been doing my own thing for the most part, jumping in and out of different styles and techniques. I've even gone back to acrylic painting and started miniature painting. I have Nomad Sculpt for iPad, so I'm also looking into 3D art again. I haven't thought about comic stuff in a long while. Funny how things change. Who knows where I'll be in another 9 years. Hopefully I'll have uploaded something new by then :P

So, I got caught up in a silly cycle. I got into one hobby, that led to another hobby, which in it of itself is comprised of a dozen different hobbies, which led to x, again and again and again. So, that brings me to today(ish).

A few years ago, I tried to do art on Blender. I couldn't get the hang of it, even the easy stuff like the Donut tutorial. But I decided to try again, and this time around, using their sculpting tools, I was able to make something! Not only that, but something I really enjoy the look of.

The current plan now is to fiddle around with Blender and see if I can get gud at it. If not, well, Blender is free, so, no harm done.

Monster Hunter Rise is pretty flibbin' great. I've been playing since Freedom 1 on PSP, and yeah this is the best one.

I decided to put the "painting" style that I had been playing with for months on hold. It was taking to long on work that I never finished and was always dissatisfied with the product.

So I started drawing using the style and method I used to use and damn I'm able to actually finish art! Haha I forgot that I already developed a method and technique years ago and abandoned it because I wanted to paint for a while.

Well, I think I'm back into the swing of things. I'm going to finish up some ref sheets of my characters and launch some sheets for some new characters. Work is coming out of the pipeline again and it feels good.

Yo! Happy 2019, I'm still around, just super busy. Until May I'm going to be doing college full force and time spent not in class is time at work. With that said, I still aim to post when I get around to it.

Art wise, I'm hoping to start painting. I'm trying to get my values down and learn to paint some realistic lighting. My style will more than definitely start shifting away from what it is now, but considering my first posts to my latest ones, that was going to happen regardless.

Anyways, I hope to post more often and upload some scraps soon.

Yup, that's right. Even if you don't have one of them fancy-shmancy 'fursonas', I bet most of you guys have OCs. And I'd also bet that most of you guys are excited to show them off. So let's see em.

What are they like? Any neat species out there? Cats and Dogs are cool, but I like to see Chinchillas, birds, and bugs too. I dunno, just let me see.

Been in an art slump lately, so hopefully three years from now I’ll have a nice beefy portfolio. Haha anyways, I should probably try to draw something

Long semester, I'll have time to draw again. I'm trying to make it a habit of drawing everyday, but I'm awfully lazy.

Anyways, I'm currently working on a height chart of my characters. I want to do some fan art of some artists I follow and maybe some art of some popular characters.

I've also been considering making a batch of adoptables, but I have no clue if I'd be able to sell any. Eh, I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

I don't imagine I'll finish the height chart by New Years, but I AM hoping to finish at least one character for it. Though if for some mystery reason I find the drive to finish it, it will show the heights of 5 of my characters.

I've already introduced Raw, BB and Long, but I've got two more in the works.

Well, I've been busy for the past year and a half, and needless to say it's shown. My schedule has freed up quite a bit, so I'll have plenty of time to start drawing again.

I'm hoping to pump out some pages of the comic and start drawing some lewd stuff (hopefully for $$$ but I haven't figured out all the details quite yet).

Anyways, I'll let you guys know whats up once I have something solid.

Title says it all. Starting a full time job has a way of eating up all of your drive to do anything other than work and sleep. I'll try to put at least one thing out before next year. Sounds realistic, right?

Started working full time, so art sort of took a back seat. I still check this page regularly (like every few days), but I don't really have the time to draw anymore. Well, at least not digitally. I did pick up a drawing pad for my car, though.

Anyways, the important thing is that I haven't ditched this page. I'll get around to posting something... eventually.

If I haven't posted anything within a month, I'll probably post another journal.

I've been playing around with the idea of making a comic for as long as I've been doing art. I've finally started work on one.

In trying to get a comic off of the ground I've discovered the following:
-Writing is the easy part
-There's a lot more to it than just the art (like font, fucking font)
-Already established comics make it look a hell of a lot easier than it actually is
-It's possible. I just need to quit being so fucking lazy.

If I really put my mind to it, I'd be able to get 3-5 pages out before January.

But I'm still testing the waters and will be satisfied with just one page done.

So here's shooting for before December 31st.

Welp, I finished up 3 of the big things on my list. Granted, now a bajillion more things popped up, but they aren't as time sensitive as the others were.

Now I have to breathe *takes in deep breath*

-Do a piece for my DnD group's 3rd Anniversary
-Release Page 01 of Shark and Dog before 12.31
-Maybe take some freebies on here.

So that's the plan as of right now.

Also Halloween is coming up, hells yeah.

I just realized it's been two whole months since I last updated this.

On my plate right now, I've got a huge paper to write for a class, working on my younger brother's Halloween costume, still working on that big commission (I'll finish it eventually I swear!), and home construction (putting up a wall, building a doorway etc.).

Once I get all of that out of the way, BAM! back to work on some kick ass art.

I got commissioned for a pretty big project, so I'll be busy with that until I get it done.

It's the first few pages of a comic. Depending on how things turn out I might upload them here.

Life wise... looking for a real job. Job hunting sucks, almost got hired a while back... life sort of kicked me in the dick with that one.
