Many of you already know that I had left due to the change in FA policy and I stayed gone - having moved to SoFurry. However, it seems like SoFurry might never come back (given their outage was supposed to last a day or three - and now we're months in with no ETA on a return). With that, I have -zero- net presence - no one to share my work with, bounce ideas off, anything. I guess I need to weigh the idea of a possible return, and if I do - what will I need to change to keep from becoming a victim of ex-post-facto rule enforcement or getting demonized. When I purged a majority of my artwork gallery, I lost comments posted by a LOT of people, some of them were dear to me and are now no longer with us (roadrodent, etc)... Anyone out there care to see me return?

There seems to be a gangbuster past-time of late, calling anyone who had serious pause over AUP Section 2.7 (and its enforcement) a Pedo. I'm not sure how much longer this will remain, but it's been good to have met so many of you. I enjoyed creating and sharing so much with all of you and will miss you. Look me up.

With the new provisions of the AUP (https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10560608), it looks I will need to start purging out all Waltman's Women content. With one story arc involving the ramifications of losing reproductive rights, it involves possibly pregnant folks who might be pregnant - obviously something that never ever happens in real life (facepalm). So, in order to not get banned permanently - content will start to be purged, starting with Waltman's Women content and all related copyrighted material. In the coming days, all other potentially infringing content will also be deleted - basically, all pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding art. Any artwork branching from these stories will also be purged, since they are integrated works. Basically - leaving only really old convention photography, model train stuff and other inoffensive material.

If my gallery is left with too few pieces to sustain it, I will simply suspend my account and leave. I know when I am not wanted and the sun can rise on a newly just world. I tried to point this out on FA's Discord server, got the 'well, only kiddie diddlers are against these rules, so you're a pedo'. Fan-fuckin-tastic, homies, like...serious, fuck you. :<

The AUP has been changed again, and it looks like childbirth and breastfeeding MAY be on the chopping block again... I get it, kiddie porn is insidious and is something you don't want to get dug in like an Alabama tick. However, a LOT of my gallery is pregnancy focused - my novel is pregnancy based (Hello, he's a midwife, pregnancy and childbirth IS part of the content). So far, I haven't been threatened, but I am wary whenever this part of the AUP is changed as heterophobes start going after people like me - it's happened before.

Saying an exception MAY be granted isn't terribly promising, sadly. Who gets to choose?

I hate to ask people, but I've been unemployed since a constructive dismissal in December of last year. SNAP is taking forever to get processed, and Unemployment is sitting on their hands. I have been looking, but with all the layoffs in the tech industry - things don't look good.

There has been so much death and illness to start off this year 2020. Lost  roadrodent and its hard to want to climb out from under the rock it seems I've found myself in. Now a good artist I know is having serious issues - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9378870/ explains it the best. I've gotten work from her, she's professional, she's kind and I wholeheartedly recommend giving her a checking out.

One of the things I realized is that I have a lot of births in Waltman's Women, but all the ones shown on my gallery are the conventional vaginal birth variety, with the outlyer being a waterbirth done by  pinkle. I think I need to find someone who would want to draw a C-Section birth that 1> Does not cause everyone to barf and 2> Did the miracle of birth justice like the other pieces I've had done. I've seen a C-Section piece done here and there on FA but they were horror scenes or they were someone's medical fetish (not judging, just explaining). I guess I wonder from those out there - what would your criteria be for such a piece to keep it from violating core rule 1 OR 2.

Sure, surgery can be a rather off-putting topic - but birth IS birth, whether it be one way or another. The destination is the same (parenthood and healthy momma & baby), just the path and view is different, right?

I also realize that a breech birth would also help diversify things a bit as well. Sometimes babies don't want to enter the world head first, pesky little beebs. I remember seeing one of  bellecandie done a long time ago, but it seems to have been lost to the ravages of time.

One of the things I get asked a lot is 'What about <x> image that I saw at a meet / during a convention, why is that not posted?"

There could be a reason or two behind that. One, I might not have permission to post it. That's pretty rare, I tend to ask right off the bat when I get the commission if I can post the piece, the answer I usually get is 'YES'. So, reason two is that I often commission artwork of a certain story and I haven't written the snippet to go with it yet. Given that there is the initial 'WOW" that comes with posting images on FA, as well as the comment period - I want to post the image AND the story together, as it is very unlikely people will come back to check to see if a piece has a story attached to it.

I am considering more additions to the What If series to the Waltman's Women image series. Anything people have for ideas out there? Would love to hear them. :)

I figured that I would enable the tipping feature - figure if people want to see more content like the kind I've been commissioning and the like, they can tip me. No pressure really, not begging - but kind of broke so I figure it couldn't really hurt anything. If not, no problems.

I've written a small snippet on my furry-ized Battlestar Galactica 'verse (adapted from the RDM version) and feel like I might want to write more. Would people be interested in that?

Well, its really disappointing to get angled into being a persona non grata on a popular Discord server. So, I deleted all of my content and intend to pull back from any meaningful participation on that server. This is the second server where this has happened, and its disheartening.

I hate being hated, that's the short of it.

So, I've run into the problem that a lot of pregfurs run into - eventually, the kid shows up. Parent-wise, this is the goal. But due to creepers on the internet, I've kept myself from writing about children or having them in artwork. What should I do? Parenthood is about the children, it feels weird to just stop the narrative. Thoughts?

Always fun to get called a pervert, but it illicits a question in my mind. Where does an image go from telling a story, part of a series or a subject and something that is clearly a fetish image? I thought it was the sexual 'styling' of it, but according to recent articles I've read - anything can be turned into a fetish. So... does that mean every image is a fetish image?

...and just like that, FA - perhaps in the outcry of people getting banned and silenced - or just totally on accident, has decided that it is NOT child pornography to show a birth or show a breastfeeding child in an image. The heterophobes lost this round, but given that this issue just popped up out of nowhere - we can't let our guard down. The enemy could be at the gates again soon.

In other news, I am not dead - though it is seeming like the end of days in RL around here (chronic underemployment, lack of resources, dwindling hope, fires, hurricanes, fascists running the country, businesses having more rights than people, etc) that I am starting to wonder if I need an exit strategy from this life...

Also - I have noted that I am taking story commissions in my profile, now that I write under my own name. Haven't really had any biters on the offer before - so not sure how to proceed other than just noting it and seeing who might be interested. Doesn't mean that Waltman's Women is cancelled - I just need the money, frankly.

So... the writing stream seemed like a bust of an idea, so we'll just sweep that way. Perhaps time for another Q&A session, this time - people get to pick the character from the Waltman's Women verse? If no one picks, I suppose I could find one, but I figure this way people can find out more about the characters in the novel.

I was pondering setting up a Tigerdile account for the purposes of streaming my writing sessions, with a bit of Q&A for people (assuming non-visual artists are accepted) following my Waltman's Women story progression.

Would people be interested in such a thing - not just for the writing part, but for the Q&A to help others with writing pregnancy and childbirth related stories with the information I have learned while researching for my own book.

Its not a big deal if this wouldn't really interest people - just thought about it as I used to run a Pregnancy and Childbirth forum at Morphicon in Ohio, and people seemed to have liked that when I ran it. I did -NOT- run it from the fetish side of things, as that isn't really my style - more the fiction vs. reality of the matter and how to roleplay it and write about it.

Anyway, hope people let me know so I can get things set up to do it if there is enough interest. Else, I will simply focus on my novel writing and update here accordingly.
