Halloween party - forget it.
Posted 12 years agoI finally got it. It took me long enough, but I got the hint. I won't burden people with my friendship or lousy offers of companionship anymore.
Halloween - anyone know a place that prints badge IDs?
Posted 12 years agoI am looking for someone who can print up a badge ID for my Halloween costume, anyone have a good lead?
RIP My Playstation 3. 2008 - 2013.
Posted 12 years agoWell, the end of an era... my dusty PS3 gave up the ghost, it appears. When I tried to power it up to see about updating it to play Last of Us - all I got was random pixels then corrupted graphics. Tried resetting it, rebuilding the database, resetting the graphics... nothing helps. Just got told it will cost me $130 plus tax to get Sony to repair it, and you know what? I have used it maybe a dozen times for games - so I don't think its worth me repairing it. I don't know anyone on the Playstation Network, so I guess I won't be purchasing a new one (considering the PS4 is just around the corner), and won't be buying a PS4 either if this is a sign of the kind of quality I can expect.
Bummer.
Bummer.
Furrily Ever After - Ouya?
Posted 12 years agoAs some are aware, I am working with a number of other people to come up with a furry dating sim called (tentatively) 'Furrily Ever After' (referred to as FEA for short). The question I have for people out there who are interested - who'd want to see this brought to the Ouya? The reason for THAT particular console is because the development tools don't cost a few million dollars and I don't need a team of hundreds to get accepted by a publisher. The current plan is to develop it for PC/MAC for sure - but I want to hear from people what platform(s) you'd like to see this brought to. No promises, since a lot of platforms are locked up with really high development cost(s) and I don't know if the engine we plan to use can be ported to that platform.
Level Up!
Posted 12 years agoWell, according to some lines of thinking - this August, I will officially be a greymuzzle. I've been in the fandom since 1996, and be 36 years old. Do I get a discount now?
Well....damn
Posted 12 years agoStarting to think Furrily Ever After is cursed at this rate.
Kyle Waltman in Action!
Posted 12 years agoI am working up an idea for Kyle Waltman in action - what would people like to see, or care to let me know about? :D
Waltman's Women - What next?
Posted 12 years agoTalk with John, are there other characters people would like seen drawn from the story series? Joy? Carla? Dr. Breyer? Donna? Let me know as I can get details from him. Of course, donations toward getting them drawn won't be turned down either, but its as he can afford them otherwise. :D
Another one...
Posted 12 years agoIt seems the artist who drew Kyle Waltman in my gallery has pulled the plug on her gallery. Sad, really as she did pretty awesome artwork. Having been in fandom since 1996, I've seen a lot of people come and go - and it still kind of sucks every time someone just leaves. I mean, people come and go - things change. Still sucks to lose the good ones though.
The new SimCity... summed up by Gamespot
Posted 12 years agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9iolLV3wgM
The long short of their review is that the game, if it worked, would be pretty novel and a new approach to city simulation. However, since it's tied to the always-on DRM model, you are stuck trying to deal with a service that can't keep it's schtuff together - so you can't play the game at all.
I'd fish to see if anyone wanted to play a private region with me - but it seems I was the only person in the southern metro area of Minneapolis stupid enough to purchase it pre-order.

Hiding Favorites?
Posted 13 years agoWhat's with all the people hiding their favorites these days? I mean... it's their FA page and all... but I like to see what people dig besides the stuff they favorite from me, just to see if I am going to get more favorites from them in the future or whatnot. Definitely NOT scolding people or anything - just mostly curious, an idle musing if you will.
XBOX 360 games for commissions?
Posted 13 years agoI had to purchase a new 360 as my launch-era unit is swirling the drain - which left me with two 360 titles i already own. Any artist who watches me out there interested in Forza 4 Motorsports or The Elder Scrolls Skyrim (DLC card)? Will trade a commission for each?

icesickel dared me to do this!Comment on this Journal, and I'll...
1. Tell you something I learned about by looking at your FA page for 13 seconds
2. Tell you a color you remind me of
3. Tell you my first memory of you
4. Ask you a question
5. Tell you something I like about you
6. Give you a nickname
7. Tell you the object that is to the left of me
8. Dare you to do this yourself in your journal
Book Recommendation
Posted 13 years agoA book I've read some time ago recently piqued my interest again called 'Baby Catcher' by Peggy Vincent. It's a midwife writing about being a midwife, so judge accordingly. It's very well written. Amazon and such has copies of it for sale.
Really? *ugh*
Posted 13 years agoI mean, I get the purpose of 'vent' artwork - and sometimes people get a little much with the morose darkness... but the last thing I needed to see when I went to FA tonight was a drawn picture of someone who blew their face off with a shotgun, but failed to kill themselves. Not cool. I won't even link to it, because I am sure people can find it if they want... Yuck.
Artwork Theft
Posted 13 years agoI, apparently, have had my 'Last Set of Short-Alls' picture copied with MY description entirely to dA under the following URL:
http://8966444.deviantart.com/art/T.....alls-331100401
To which they never even bothered to ask. If any of your artwork is there as well, I'd encourage you to report it to the dA's moderators.

Posted 13 years ago-- Copied from Tsu's journal --
There's an animal rescue in my area that's in real danger of going under. These people have saved countless lives, rescued animals other people wouldn't, and have given animals that seemed hopeless a second chance at life. Unfortunately, vet bills can get sky high when you're rescuing animals that have suffered at the hands of careless, cruel people. If they cannot raise enough to help pay off their vet bills, they will go under, and there will be a lot of animals who may end up being euthanized if they're in boarding...
I know many of us here are animal lovers, so I ask you to please spread the word, spread this journal, and toss some spare change their way if you can spare it.
Reach Out Rescue has done some really great work, and has saved so many lives. Two of my best friends are foster parents for Reach Out, and my one friend just adopted his last foster dog, Braveheart. Braveheart was a bait-dog used in dog fighting. Some people would have just assumed he was too damaged from the experience to be a good pet for anyone, but not Reach Out. And Braveheart is an amazing dog... he's so mellow, so sweet, and you can tell, he's so happy that he was saved, and that he got a second chance. His story had such a sad beginning. But now he's a beloved companion who is being spoiled rotten and given all the love he deserves. Reach Out Rescue gave him that second chance.
He's just one of so many animals they've helped, and I would hate to see them go under.
So please, help me spread the word!!!

Long time...
Posted 13 years agoI haven't posted a new journal in a while, and figured it was about time to pull some older art out of the ol' vault for viewing. I have also been hard at work... working...mostly... but also, trying to learn the piano / keyboard. So far, I am doing alright - but definitely not playing anything people want to hear yet. Also, been trying to go back and put more stories in the artwork I have posted, as well as posting snippets in artwork uploaded.

ArTrax - Preliminary...
Posted 15 years agoI have decided that 2011 will be the year I contribute something back to the fandom, and I decided that I could write a offline artist information system for artists to keep track of their commission information. Basically, its CRM software with artists in mind - except I don't wanna charge conventional CRM pricing. I am leaning toward the nice pricing of free - with the heavy-duty features perhaps being charged for - but the base software costing nothing.

Artwork
Posted 15 years ago...I am at it again... I collected up a few art supplies, and look to once again attempt to inflict my imagination onto others... anyone out there got a good guide of how to get started, and how to not to go horribly wrong this time?
Midwest Furfest
Posted 15 years agoI made it to MFF this year, and have reconstructed my pregnant furry femme sketchbook (horrible story, don't ask) and got the first image done by
dingbat and had enough to get an image by another person who's name escapes me right now, but she seems pretty cool with the idea.

Editing Images - Storytelling
Posted 15 years agoHere is a question out there - I was pondering writing story-tidbits into my already-uploaded pictures, but I don't want them to all appear to be re-uploaded. Will this do that if I edit them? Who'd be interested in stories attached to images I upload?
