As some of you know I just got back to the states and have immediately moved from New York to Michigan. For those of you who don't know, that is about a 12 hour drive once I equate the fact I was towing a trailer with all of my belongings.

I am getting settled and am slowly unpacking, but have the essentials up and running.

But to the important part of this post. I have to complete an essay for my summer class before Monday, so that is my focus this week. I also have a few smaller pieces owed before I can feel right opening for commissions.

With that being said and things starting to get back to normal I am projecting to open on the 28th, if not sooner.

The official school portion of my travels are over. During the next week, besides travelling in my own, I have to write an essay on my travels.
Becuase of this I will have to use my iPad for that purpose. I am also finishing up an alternative version of one of my past commissions at this time.

With that being said; I should be moved into my new place and settled before the 20th. So I can say that day will be my official opening for commissions.

I will be leaving for Japan here in a few hours.

Sadly, not a vacation, but a required part of my graduate studies. I have been told I will have internet access, but I am not banking on it.

I will be taking my iPad along with me, hopefully I will be able to wrap up some commissions and other art I want to get through before reopening in July for some slots ( may even do EF con badges for pick up, we'll see).

It has been determined that Eurofurance, WPAFW and furvester are going to be the cons I attended for 2019!

For Eurofurance I wont say to much about how and why I am going quite yet, but it is set in stone that I will be attending.

As for the other two, I had thought I would have to pick one over the other. However, after crunching some numbers that does not seem to be the case.

I will be heading back to the States here in a few weeks, so if you want a commission June-August is going to be the prime time as I will not be in school and will not have started my new job yet.

I was going to have this be an update journal, but I have decided against that.
However, now that school is over for a while I have the pleasure of opening up commissions once again!

So with that being said, digital commissions are officially open,
I will have an official price sheet uploaded hopefully by the end next week.
*Due to my location, traditional pieces will be on hold until late spring/ early summer.*

All payments are through PayPal and are due upon receipt of the initial sketch.


My general polices are as follows:

Once a sketch is received payment is due. In the sketching stage this is where you can make the extreme adjustments. Once Line art is completed no adjustments to the pose or character will be made unless it is a mistake on my end. Once the line art is done I will do base colors, again this is the time to change the colors or if I have misinterpreted any markings, make those adjustments. This must be done before shading.


NSFW: I will work with adult commissions if requested at no additional charge for pin-up/ artistic nude scenarios.

Other NSFW requests will be discussed privately.

I may also be opening up for themed badges once I have official confirmation on possible con attendance later this year. But more info on that will follow.

Until after the new year I will say that commissions are closed, as well much of my activity across platforms will be limited.

I have some serious school work in need to push through, so there will probably be no updates until after December 15th. On top of my day to day job, I just have too much going on at the moment.

As for Con attendance:
I will be attending a small con in Germany at the end of December, so if you plan on being at Furvester let me know! Would love to meet some people, I am awfully shy and already fear I will spend my time in a corner.

As for art:
I have a bunch of personal sketches I would really like to see completed in the future, I have a few raffle pieces that are still owed from twitter and I have a commission that is so over due its not even funny. As for pieces I owe from before going digital, yeah I mean super old, I will get to those in the summer after I am settled in my new place and have means to really work on traditional stuff again.

General Updates and con attendance '19
I will be taking the spring semester off from school for personal reasons, mainly because I am moving from NY to MI and will be officially be returning to the states in the late winter/early spring time frame and that can become very unpredictable. So unfortunately my plans to attend any cons in March are just not going to happen. I really think my next con after Furvester will be WPAFW in October. I still think Anthrocon will be a bit much for me, but if there are any suggestions for other summer cons I am willing to hear them out! I could probably do two American/Canadian cons or one Europe or otherwise over seas con.

I had to keep this one short and to the point, as I should be working on HW right now. For those thinking about a Masters and/or post-grad, well after the semester I could talk about where myself and my last school really dropped the ball.

Just a heads up, I have been in another location for a bit and was advised we have a tropical storm moving in and I am being rushed back to our main base in a bit. Due to my job I will probably be running for about 3 days straight if this hits us the way the weather is reading it will.

As for adjustments to your commission: The sketch faze I will allow up to three major adjustments, however once Line art has been done and approved there will be no major adjustments unless it is a clear artist error (such as a mistake in design of the character), payment at the cleaned sketch stage is an agreement you approve of the pose and general direction of the piece.
Please be clear on your colors! Though I do not require a reference and will gladly work from a clear description, I must illiterate I do have a color deficiency. All flats will be done on their own layer to allow me to tweak colors until they are approved. But once color is approved there will be no further changes.
If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask them, this is not a complete guideline and I am just trying to cover the typical questions I have been asked in the past.

So yesterday I officially graduated and I am done with school for a bit.
I will be hanging out for about two months waiting for an upcoming deployment.

Right now I have to update with a list of what I will not draw, but because of the nature of these commissions only limitations I can list now are:

So while I was on my orders the command spend all week pulling craft from the water.
In short I got my ass kicked operating a crane for about 16 hours for four days straight.
Today should be our last day pulling boats, mostly for precaution reasons as the storm really isn't comiung our way. So tomorrow I should be back to the art grind.

As a very select few of you know I am doing one last deployment with the navy before I move forward into my commision with the army. I leave in February, therefore I am approaching my 6 month pre deployment stage.

With this being said I am closing commissions until all owed art, both commisons and requests, are compelted. I want to leave on a good note with nothing owed to the wonderful people who are waiting on art from me.
I may open for small digital work here and there. But I am also trying to graduate in December, so that is truly my focus over all.

So starting in February I am in deployment status, but I will truly only be away from internet for probably 7 months. But that is uncertain.

It looks like my orders are ending next Friday, which means back to just about normal until the end of August.
I really want to get my owed commissions done before school, requests will be worked on after commissions are completed.
Depending on the pay check I may take a few days off from my civilian work to get these commissions done.

Well it's been a while, but the school semester is over and so is a major two week festival I am foced to work.

As of now I was just placed in month long in state orders. So unfortunately art is still going to coming slower then I would like.

All traditional work is on hold due to these orders. I was only allowed one bag and sadly my sketch book and pens/pencils did not fit with out risk of harming them.
I do however have my iPad with me. So I may do a few small digital commissions. I have a few examples on my twitter account enricoghiottone. But haven't been posting them here as the are mostly WIP on my end.

In about two weeks I will be home for drill weekend, then I plan on working on two of the (long overdue) paid traditional pieces and want those done by the end of June. My other two traditional pieces owed will then he worked in as they are paid.
Soon I will setting up a price list and what not, so be on the look out for that.

This list hasn't changed, I'm sorry for the sudden absence but school dumped on me rather hard the past week. Fortunately going to a Christian establishment allows for an extended Easter break and my teachers wanting to have everything done before the break.

So I officially picked up my tablet, iPad Pro, taking her home and playing with some programs to get the feel.

As a very select few of you know I have battling a rather crippling addiction to alcohol. I thank those who have been there since day one, when I decided to quit about a month ago, now. Of course, ups and downs are to be hand, and I feel rather guilty about the loss of drive I have at the moment for art.

I know what is owed and I am hoping to continue to slowly chip away at what I have. Unfortunately, (unless a commission) this will be done at my own pace, which may be much slower than I had originally planned. I do have a list of goals with dates, and each and every one has yet to be met. I really am doing my best but between dealing with the reason I turned to the bottle in the first place and school, art beyond simple sketches are coming rather difficult to me as of late.

Over the next week, I am on break, and hope to complete at least two of those commissions that are waiting as well as a really overdue request that is just begging for me to spend that last hour needed on it.
BUT unlike in the past where I used breaks to catch up on art, I am using this time to catch up on my sanity. I will be making a trip out to Michigan and do my best to just focus on my religious studies for about five days. So, starting next Wednesday I will have little to no access to internet, at my own choice I will admit.

I ask that I receive no private messages on this matter, just felt a tip of the hat to those waiting was more than necessary and needed. I do not feel it is right of me to leave those waiting on me to be left in the dark.

Again, commissions come first, especially if they have already been paid for, and I will get myself into gear for them ASAP. Beyond that I do what comes to me, when it comes to me.
Currently I have five commissions waiting, three of which are paid. Those are first on my list.

Raffles/ trades- I have two of these. These are mostly seen as just above requests, but don’t be surprised if a request gets completed before hand.

And to the last of my request que, sadly you will get the brunt of this, however most of these are half completed so there should be little issue. Currently I have a solid number of these that will be chipped away slowly but surely. I have had little issue in this front, but I will address this publicly as well.

**Please do not harass me about your request (commissioners I feel have much more of right to inquire frequently due to financial investment). I have had a few issues in the past and have had to put my foot down and cancel the request all together based on constant notes as well as “taking miles when given an inch” asking for more and more from a request beyond the original posted opening. I do not wish to sound brash here, but I need to protect myself and those who are paying for work by me. I know in the past I have had an issue with saying “No”, but those times are over. If you give me the time and space I will gladly work with you. **

Well I think I'm caught up in school, and I've settled down a bit.

Honestly I have not drawn once at all over the week, and I think that may have been a good thing.

This is drill weekend, so I probably won't have time to throw down with the light box but my goal is to get these last four requests done sooner rather then later.
