I've been wanting to draw lately but I need some practice. Feel free to drop off a ref with an expression or position and I might draw it over the next few days. Non-canines are preferred but I'll still draw them. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone a little bit so I have room for improvement.

I realised that I've been gone for two months and I can't tell if my submission and journal numbers are actual number or interplanetary zip codes. Anyway, here's an update of what's been going on in my life:

- I went to the Central PA Furbowl back in December and it was so much fun. I didn't wear Zipper much because the bowling alley made it too dark to see but I met a lot of cool people and we had the most hilarious game of Cards Against Humanity. I'm still trying to find you all.

-Drama at my workplace has picked up again. Fortunately for me, they're realising that I'm not the horrible worker that someone keeps saying I am and I'm one of the few people who didn't get their hours cut this month.

-I had to get my thyroid removed in December. After lots of tests and doctors basically throwing their hands up and going "I don't know," it turns out that I had thyroid cancer. They caught it before it got bad so I don't have to have any other surgeries. All I have to do is take a pill every morning from now on and I have a cool scar.

I'll try to stick around a little longer this time. Since I don't draw that much anymore I sometimes lose interest in FA. If you guys need to get ahold of me for any reason, Twitter is the best way to contact me. My username is ThatTentayena.

I disappeared for about a month and came back to almost 6,000 submissions alone. Oops.

I visited a friend of mine from high school last night and we were looking through the pictures on our smart devices. I passed a picture of Zipper that I had on there and my friend goes "Oh, I didn't know you were a furry. That's pretty cool. Are you going to any conventions?" After I answered some questions she explained that she saw furries on the "I Want Respect For My Sect" episode of True Life and she thought that the person on there who made their own fursuits was really talented and wanted to know more. I drew anthro characters in all my notebooks in high school so she wasn't really surprised.

Thanks True Life for not showing us in a bad light.

Long story short, I was in an auto accident last Friday and even though I didn't break anything, I was left with a severe inner ear concussion. It sucks because I really wanted to go but hopefully you'll see Zipper and I at AC this year.

I'm in need of a hole punch made for badges so I'm offering one to cover the cost of one! The badge will be similar to this badge and will be traditional and drawn with colored pencils. It will be laminated but unfortunately won't have a hole due to the regular hole punch holes looking tacky when a badge clip is used.

It will be $10 and shipped between two pieces of cardboard for protection. If interested, note me and we'll work things out.

Fur The 'More is a go so this will be my first fur con. I've been to a Comic Con before but not with a suit and this is where my question arises. I won't be in suit for at least the first part of the day so I'm kind of nervous to leave Zipper in the car. I have her in a tote and I'll probably put it in the trunk but I'm terrified that she'll get heat damaged. Am I over reacting? If I'm not, will I be allowed to keep the tote in the headless lounge or whatever? We're only going for one day so I didn't worry about hotel rooms or anything.

I need a cheap balaclava for under my fursuit head but I'm not sure which ones to get. So far all the cheap ones I've found are for cold weather and would get really hot. Link me suggestions?

Unfortunately, we didn't know until we got to the hotel that all the tickets for today were sold out. In a way, it was kind of good that I didn't get my fursuit yet or I would've been so bummed that I didn't get to wear it. But to make myself feel better I got some new manga and a Rocket Raccoon belt at 2nd & Charles so all is forgiven.

Is one of the side effects nightmares? I've been having these vivid dreams lately and I guess to a normal person they wouldn't be considered nightmares but to me they're kind of distressing and they always consist of the same subject matter. They've been bumming me out lately and that's why I'm kind of quiet on the internet for now.

My resolutions for this year:

-Get more exercise I've been getting kind of lazy over the year and I need to get my body into shape a little bit. Maybe if I be more active a little bit of weight loss will come with it.

-Start drawing again I really miss drawing but the "feeling bad about my art" syndrome is getting in the way. I think I might take a trip to Walmart and buy a nice sketchpad I can practice in.

-Get connected with my furry friends I've kind of moved away from the laptop since I bought an iPod over the summer and I've kind of lost touch. That's just not cool. I'll try my best to fix that in the new year.

To be put on what my dad lovingly refers to as "crazy pills". :/

I've been wanting to try antidepressants for quite a while and after a recent incident where I missed 3 days of work, I decided to make a doctor's appointment. I'm excited but kind of scared at the same time. I'm excited because I'll feel normal for the first time since I was 13. I'm scared because my grandma was on them for about a year and the results were kind of... less than satisfactory. Luckily, I remember that brand name and now know to steer clear of it unless I want to turn into a zombie. Hopefully he can give me something that helps with my anxiety too since it's been making me get physically sick at work since the beginning of the summer.

Does anyone have any experience with antidepressants/anxiety medication? If so, I'd love to hear it so I'm not as nervous.
