I have a few sketches I need to send out for approval and I'm going to be trying my best, but I came down with the flu and shit it's.. lasting.. forever.. I started feeling crappy on the 1st of november and it's the 7th and I still feel like shit and only getting worse lmao.. last night i was up at 5am for a good hour hacking and a few days before had bloody phlegm,

Ontop of that I'm also working this weekend at a large gallery festival so its like.. having the flu, getting drugged up, talking to people for 5+ hours and then collapsing at home to do it all over again the next day, I lost my voice yesterday but theres just two more days of this so I'm hoping to get back on track and sending things out by tuesday/wednesday -- at LATEST latest friday

things are sort of heavy right now so I'm really sorry for the delay and going to try and catch up as fast as I can!

I've been dying my hair for waaayy too long (since middle school! but it was just two little streaks in the front hah)
I've gone thru a lot of different colours, usually staying with blonde which ends up working since my hairs a light coloured brown.

However the last few years I've made it go grayish white, though it can end up looking near platinum blonde some days!
I only do the top half of my head, leaving the underhalf to be my natural brown and because of the contrast it looks darker and ends up fading really nicely to give it more complexity

NOW THOUGH I used some box colour (I have been using wella to dye my hair) because I know it fades to a gorgeous tint of blonde as it fades from way-to-pinkish-red to a warm blonde

It's faded now into that lovely colour however the bulk of where my hair was gray is REALLY dull grayish pinkyish coloured, obviously this is because it's been stripped of all colour and has been almost white.
Where I used the dye on more blondeish or natural hair ended up a really nice warm colour and I'd like to try and get it on the grayer parts of my hair?
But it really seems to not want to take any colour, it just wants to de-saturate the living heck outta it

Any suggestions to try and make it match?

I have this great big sweet potato vine growing in my apartment and all summer it's been getting bigger and bigger-- I recently moved it to a bigger container with some mixmatch soil and it's been doing well but I've noticed over the last month a lot of it's leaves will randomly go yellow and fall off!

I'm not sure why this is, I want to replace it's soil with better draining potting soil soon but a cutting of the vine that I have in water is having the exact same issue! I looked into it and it's base is nice and sturdy-- does anyone have any gardening idea about what's making it die out so slowly??

(also these are ornamental sweet p's not the good kind you can eat)

SO I have a little pom named Rizzo that I adopted over a year ago and hes an absolutely amazing dog, sweet calm and quiet, he listens really well, is very attentive and loving and totally blows all stereotypes about poms out of the water

When I adopted him last summer the adoption agency had given him a haircut though he still had some really severe matts that needed to be cut out, they said he was pom-mix so I wasn't even sure if he WAS going to grow out more (he did) he turned into the most breadloaf looking dog ever and during the winter he was gorgeously fluffy (my mom accused him of being overweight because of just how much fur he had, he def wasn't overweight it was allll an illusion, once he got cut down for winter we were all surprised how fit and leggy he was)

(EDIT: You'll see in the pictures below that he was shaved this summer-- THIS WAS NOT MY INTENTION, I did want him trimmed to get his tail to match the rest of him but instead they SHAVED him. This is not something I intended to happen and not something I am going to repeat and you can imagine how angry I was when I got him back with redic short fur and snipped whiskers.)

BUT the longer his fur got the harder it was to take care. He has pretty dry fur naturally and at the time he was on Nutro. I'd brush him out once or twice a week but it wasn't a very fun experience for him and it eventually lead to a hair accident that caused us to have to amputate his tail, all because of dry fur that easily knots and water

SO NOW we've changed foods to blue buffalo salmon recipe and again trimmed him down for the summer (also the fact that what was left of his tail and slightly around it was buttnaked it was really weird looking, it looked better once everything was the same length) now he's getting furrier and furrier as winter approaches and naturally getting more knots all over. I REALLY want to get his hair more healthy and shiny I even started using a little conditioner after baths to just get it less dry. I know you can add oil to his food to help with that but he's a grazer so it sits around all day and we have another dog in the house that'll end up eating it too, so I'd have to add oil to BOTH their foods which I'm not sure about..

Does anyone have any tips or products that'll help with overly dry dog fur?? I want to see if I can get something dog-safe like leave in conditioner for him because I know this upcoming winter its going to be just as difficult as it was last winter

My roommate recently adopted a pom from a woman getting rid of her on the internet. She def got the dog from a puppy-mill so it's breeding isn't the best in the world but shes a happy dog with a good amount of energy and very very smart.

The dogs name issss whiskey now? She's got that kinda amber colour to her so it works and is less like childish than her last name, foxie. (though shes looks VERY foxy) but now my roommates going thru a quest trying to figure out if shes a spitz instead even though she has her original paperwork because shes almost twice the weight of my pom rizzo (where she decided she'd also love to get a pom, hes quiet and small and very lowkey also who i got from a killshelter and is probably a pom/papillon mix because he rarely sheds and has got those big ass ears)

I know puppy-mills are really abhorent but it's better than waiting for the dog to be thrown in the pound and then adopting her out. Anyone know if they mix spitz type dogs together because it doesn't matter while looking at a puppy or if shes just a big ass pom?

Wow wow wow so me and my roommate moved apartments here on chicago and it has been sort of crazy. We've moved to somewhere bigger so that's nice!

but it has been a lot of heavy boxes up 3 flights of stairs in 90 degree weather so that has been hell...

I just read a good book my roommate tossed at me and now I realllyy want to just.. READ. The book was Discord's Apple, it was good but should have been extended into way more than 1 book and some of the parts were a little unnecessary but it was still a good read! (also some gay scenes which were def a nice ass surprise)

I eat through books super fast, I finished the one she gave me in a day and a half aha, I like to binge on them but then after it's so.. bad because you want MORE MORE MORE

Do any of you guys have any good book suggestions? OR know of any with greek mythology in it? the one i read had a ton of greek mythos in it and huff I wanna read more

I'm trying to figure out how to get one of those.. stopwatch programs to download for your computer that only keep counting when youre in photoshop or whatever program youre trying to use
