I got accepted into the Disney College Program. Looks like I'll be becoming a Florida fur from this upcoming July to January of 2013! :3 Megaplex, anyone? WOO!

General | Posted 13 years agoUgh, Post-Con Depression kicking in already and I just got back! :(
Furnal Equinox 2012 was amazing! I want to thank everyone so much for making it so fun!! :3 I got to see so many people that I haven't seen in a long time, as well as make new furiends! <3
, to name only a few! There are so many more friends I got to see and so many new people I met, I could never list them all!
Some of my favorite parts of the con were the fursuit parade, the swag carrot, the baby fur room party and all of its awesomefuntimes, the fursuit games, the open mic panel and the performing in fursuit panel! Not to mention the dances, getting my Marci badge and just general fursuiting around and seeing everyone! It was so great to get back into the swing of things and finally let my furry flag fly after so long keeping it under wraps! I've missed everyone and the furry world so much!
I plan on going to as many cons as I possibly can this year. I've got con fever, I just wanna go everywhere and do everything! :3 If I have enough money to register and a ride/room, I'll be there! Hoping to make it to FCN and AC this year... not sure about FCN cuz it's so close, but I'll try my damnedest!
Anyway, thank you sooooo much to everyone that I hung out with and talked to!! :3 FE2012 was so awesome, I'm pumped for next year! Better see all your furry asses there in 2013!!!!!

General | Posted 13 years agoSoooo I know all you guys know me as Razzles, and some know me as Daffodil the purple bunny! However, I have recently discovered something about myself and have created a new character in the image of myself as a part of this new fandom. She will be my main character from now on, however Razzles and Daffodil are still characters f mine, from now on I'd like to be associated with this new character! Don't worry though, Daffodil the bunny is still my only fursuit, and I still wear her to suiting events!!
The new character is named Blondie, after my original natural hair color, state of mind and her fur color! So keep a lookout for a new account popping up with that name in it somewheres, and WATCH IT cuz its meeee :) I shall make another journal with a link to the account once it's made, so I hope y'all will watch it! :3

- I'll be arriving between 9-9:30am tomorrow! Gotta line up for reg, since I didn't have enough to pre-reg when I had the opportunity (but now I shall!)
- Probs won't be in-suit until I get into my room! But I will be ASAP! :3 I should be wandering around with either my tail or my sockpaws though!
- FIND ME! :3 I wanna seeee eveeeeryonnneee! I was even going to attend a party with EvilBirdie and Horlequism among many others, however, my father has guilted me into spending a boring old New Year with the family.
I really wish I could have made it to your party guys, but I really don't want to upset my dad, and apparently he hasn't quite let go yet. I may be able to convince him to let me go to the party, but I don't have much time, so if I don't see you guys tonight, I'm sorry! :( I really wanted to! But don't count me out, I may be able to work my magic!!

Myself and a friend of mine have been thinking of planning a road trip to the 2012 BroNYCon! I know a lot of the furs here I'm friends with love ponies just as much as I do, so I wanted to see if anypony wanted to join us!! :) It's on the 7th of January... it's not that pricey to get in ($40 to register online right now), but travel might be (train tickets are pricey, and maybe pitching in a bit for gas!). I'll be taking a train back to Windsor from Toronto the day before, then driving down to Ohio that night, where we will be picked up (because bless her heart, my poor car Nancy just couldn't make the whole trip!) by my friend, and then drive our little flanks down to the fabulous con! Ponies... EVERYWHERE! CAN YOU IMAGINE?

I know I haven't been around very often since coming to school (considering how active I've been in the community this year, it's quite a big difference). Unfortunately, since coming here, I've had the opportunity to experience the life a regular college kid has, and I have to say that I love it! I love making loads of friends and partying and hanging out with everyone, turns out I'm actually quite popular among the mundanes (though I still get to show off my weirdness once in a while with my obsession with Ponies and Harry Potter and general nerdiness). I even got myself into a relationship with one of them regular ol' mundanes! It didn't work out... partly because he moved away, and partly because I didn't like hiding part of myself. Definitely not the best idea to date a non-furry when you are a furry, buttttttt can't help who you like I guess. Hoping I get better luck next time around :) I definitely miss the fandom, though!! It's sucked not being able to do much art work, or work on improving my fursuit-making skills and such. I've only got to wear Daffodil once! :( Think I'm going through withdrawal, blaaahhh. Oh, and while I was gone, I turned 20. Ugh. Feel so old.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get more active in the community over Christmas break again, but I don't know about next semester. I don't have any days off of class next semester, which I'm not looking forward to, and I have a lot of classes! I'll try to get on here as much as possible, since I want to get more involved again, but being in college and being a closeted furry to pretty much everyone but your family/furry friends... it's really hard to get anything like artwork and stuff done! My roommate went home this weekend so I finally have some time in my room to myself, so I figured I'd write this journal! School, commissions updates, etc
General | Posted 14 years agoSo, I just got to school yesterday, and just got my internet today.
Before I got to school, I'd figured my dorm room would be big enough for me to keep working on fursuits. Unfortunately, I got here... and there was no storage space. There's no place for me to keep the fur or supplies, and noooo working area. My room is sooo teensy, and I don't even have a proper closet. The only storage space I do have is being used for clothes/life essentials/school stuff. So, unfortunately, this means I'm going to have to close fursuit commissions for the time being. The only time I'll have time to do anything fursuit related is when I'm at home. The times I'll be home this semester? Thanksgiving weekend, and Christmas holiday. I may be there a couple of weekends in between, but my school is super far from home and therefore really expensive for me to get home (train tickets and everything). It wouldn't be as bad if I could drive my car home, but it's not highway safe. I only use it for putting to and from classes/the mall and such.
So, yep. If you've contacted me for a fursuit quote recently but haven't paid me anything, I'm going to have to step down from those commissions because I simply won't have the space, or even the time. I feel really bad that I have to disappoint everyone, I'm disappointed too. I was really looking forward to the awesome suits I was going to get to make, and I was hoping to do my own personal suit as well this semester, but I'm gonna have no time. I'm gonna have to get him commissioned. Also, when I have fursuits to work on, I tend to do just that and ignore all my other work. That's going to be a problem if I want to do well this semester to qualify for the Disney World academic exchange and internship next year.
Long story short, no more fursuit commissions for me until next year. I'll still be taking art commissions however, because art is way easier/faster for me than fursuits, and require only my computer, printer and laminator. XD
So once again, I'm so sorry to everyone who was hoping to maybe get a suit from me this year! Looks like I just won't be able to manage it. :( I love you all though, and would be happy to work with you guys when I have the free time and space!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 :( :( :(
