New Commissions Closed / Current Commission Delay
Posted 7 years agohey all apologies i yodeled this in my discord server but forgot to hit up other social media bc ive been wiped but ! i recently got a secnd job, so for the time being im going to have to close commissions for a period and may be very slow on those who already in my queue. i apologize for delays but if you need to ask about your commission or anything the fastest way to reach me would be discord!
hopefully itll only take a week or two for me to adjust to getting myself in tune with both art and my second job, but aaaa i thank you all for your patience again!
additionally, pwyw streams will also be scattered if any in december due to adjusting a whole new schedule
not sure if pwyw streams will remain on thursdays and saturday but ill be sure to announce going forward

End of Hiatus + Update
Posted 7 years agoI ammmm officially back to work!
Due to being able to get a wrist brace mid this crazy month, it's helped my wrist a ton and I'm in a place where it doesn't hurt any longer when I draw. I wear it nightly, it's helped a ton, and I spent the last few days dabbling in drawing stuff just to see how it was and after a few days of fiddling, I think I'm in good shape to hop back onto work.
Apologies to commissioners who have been waiting longer than my announced four week turnover. I'll be working on commissions again beginning today and daily (as much as possible) until I've finished queue. Commissions will remain closed until then and I'll announce when they're open via journal. For queue list order and progress, please check my trello. If you are needing to contact me concerning a commission, discord is the fastest method to reach me!
Additionally, I also wanted to thank everyone who helped out raising funds for my car! She has since been fixed, has new boots and all. I would not have been able to get her into the shop before winter without everyone's help and support. Even if you didn't donate to our fund, your patience and kind words helped me a ton. Those who were eligible to get a Gachapon Tier 2 outfit from Cecil have already been contacted, and updates about that can be found in their discord server or contacting them on discord.
I've felt incredibly anxious over having the car issue and getting injured (both arthritis and my neck/shoulder muscle being strained), but I am absolutely in a better place now due to taking some time. So I have a ton of love and appreciation for y'all allowing me a moment to recoup. So thank you all again for your support and patience qvq <3 !

Official Hiatus + Car Fund

Apologies in advance I'm writing this on my phone and I have big gay thumbs!
Since my last journal about a temporary week hiatus I had taken, frankly things have gotten worse. It's on me for not taking care of myself as much as I thought I was and pushing my limits.
I'll cut short to what this means for current commissioners/those in queue. I know some folk have hit their turnover promised, unfortunately I'm just going to have to push it further. I was trying to work more, and caused things to become worse. Please contact me if you want to see the status of your commission or need to chatter or anything. If you're fine waiting tho, shoot me a message as well to quell my anxiety djfjsjcn
Long story is this:
My front passenger tire on my van started to lose air, and knowing I don't drive far at all, I assumed it was a pierce in the tire after refilling it with air and watching it deflate again. To beblunt, I dont know fuck about cars buy my father has been working on cars nearly 5 decades and speaking with him he figured the same (for not even seeing it). Took to a shop, was told (and boy can you see it) the second layer of rubber was showing on my front two tires and soon metal would show and there runs the possibility of the tire exploding. Basically I need two new tires to be slapped on it, but I was quoted anywhere from $180-$280 depending on what was needed.
Worker suggested I can keep doing my minimal driving (legit gong to the grocery store next to our apartment) but it has gotten so frequent on the tire needing to be filled that it'd just deflate halfway by the time I got home. This has put a "dont use till ready to go to the shop" stamp on my van. Thus for groceries I decided to walk.
At the same time, right as I got over my art block, arthritis has hit. I had it minor a year or so ago, but moving from NJ to KY, I left my wrist brace there. I got a new one on the last grocery trip I made, but, thus comes todah where I am being punished for pushing myself too hard upon return from the store as I had a backpack and tote of groceries.
My neck is severely strained if not pulled due to the weight I carried, ans I can now not lie down without severe shooting pain. Thus I can't sleep either fisnfnsn. We're trying our best to treat it now, heating pad ans all, but this is the last shot to my health I can take before calling it quits and slappinf an official hiatus.
on the plus side, last journal I started I have back pain - that was just from that day ans i rested and stretched that pain away. But this new injury is takinf its toll on me at 9am.
So with all that, I do apologize to commissioners who've been waiting. Again, please contact me about anything even if it's "take your time" just so I know and my anxiety bees dont rattle.
But I think after friends yelling at me for a bit and me putting it off I am officially opening a fund rasier/donation pool to repair my van. However with aid from
sassmassacre we've decided to do the following:
Since the goal is 200/300 we decided if you donate 50 yourself, by default you'll get a Tier 2 outfit from their Outfit Gachapon (featured on their account - ill clean this journal up and place links at a later time)
You may even get some poorly drawn birds/characters from me with my non dominant hand or something so i keep resting. But at least the outfit is guaranteed.

few things i need to touch base on!
1) my back hurts a lot suddenly - gonna be taking care of myself/break times between work way better but if this gets worse i may need to take a hiatus to dedicate to resting but ill actually update my discord server/fa/da if this occurs (bc i forgot to do that for my recent one, explained below)
2) my car needs repair - my front tires are down to the 2nd layer of rubber and will start to show metal soon and i got a quote that is big money (to me), so that news has been stressin me out a bit
3) stress from my car situation + art block hit me mega hard! i will explain my absence below
last week i took the full week off to recover spoons from a severe art block - anything i was opening, hand wasn't going. i've managed to pull out from that by taking some time for myself! so everything should be back in full swing soon, though commissions are still going to remain closed!
