Posted 11 years agoHey! Was gone for a long time! I was really ill and on bedrest for the first several months of this year(found out I have a deadly autoimmune disease, but the flare-up ended, and I came out of it with only scars), then once I healed, I just did NOT feel like drawing. Then I got a kitten, so that takes up a lot of time.
Anywho, I've decided to wipe most of this account. You have one week to download anything you want, then I'll be deleting almost all of my gallery/scraps.
Edit: I decided not to wait on everything. Trades and commissions I will wait a week on though.

Looking for Commissions

I'm currently looking for commissions of any type to help build some much-needed funds.
As some people know I have been out of work since July, and am in some intensive psychiatric care. I am currently building find for a service animal, and a hoping some commissions will help. Due to the breed requirements, I will need $500 to get on a waiting list, and a further $300-$700 to secure the animal when one is available.

2 75% sketched

Most of it is going in scraps, so it shouldn't get too overwhelming. I forgot to get a photo for my drawing for the 8th tho :(
Also, what do people think of Weasyl? I'm not a big fan of the layout, but it's looking tempting.

Xenotropos, and it is the best thing ever! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10175809/ Exactly what I asked for, if not better. I'm so excited to use it.
I also wanted to thank her because sketching out my idea for her gave me alot of confidence in trying that style, and I'm really happy with how much I've been able to accomplish since then.

New Style Sin?
Posted 12 years agoWhat do people think of this style of drawing her? I really like how it's turning out, but haven't had alot of campairative feedback. Does anyone prefer the more cartoony style?

Posted 12 years agoI got my new laminator in the mail today! That means as of now, you have the option of a shaped badge, instead of only rectangular ones! I'm going to have to make myself another new badge to try it out.

FE 2013 Update

So, I am registered now. I will be attending, however I will not be staying at the hotel. Also, I'll be missing half of saturday for a wedding.
I also just wanted to let people know I will not be doing comissions at the con, it's my first time going to a furry-type con, so I'm just going to enjoy myself this time, and hit up the panels.
So, if you want a new badge in time for FE, let me know by the end of this month, so I can finish them pre-con. Hope to see everyone there!

Posted 13 years agoSo, life has been complicated. In any case, now that I'm back at it, and finishing artwork semi-regularly, I hope to be back more thoroughly.
I'm learning some new programs (GIMP, Inkscape), so that's frustrating. In the meantime, I'm building my portfolio! Since I've been doing more comissions, and therefor getting asked more questions, I've decided it's best to have a book of answers. It's exciting, and gives me the chance to practice designing characters.
I was wondering, would anyone be interested in character design as a service? IE, you give me a vague detail, or a personality, and I do all the work of coming up with the character for you? Let me know what you think!

Posted 18 years agoSo, I have been to the migraine clinic!
Basically, the diagnosis is a mixture of or migraines and tension headaches. For the migraines there's not much they can do (I've had my catscans and all, so it's not a tumor or anurism (sp?) or anything), except keep giving me coedine.
For the tension headaches tho, I'm going to be having regular visits to get a bunch of needles in my head and neck, which are meant to rewire the pain responses for that part of my body (does this mean I wont be able to feel if someone let's say, hits me with a baseball bat?).
In any case, they are going to try to fix me! Yup.

Posted 18 years agoSo I went to the 7th annual Brampton Indie Arts Fest tonight/today. It was pretty wicked, I have to say.
Usually indie bands are not my thing, but one really stood out today, a 2-woman group called "The Paper Makers" (which you can look up on myspace, but they have no music up, which makes me cry in my soul 'cause I want more, they had a very short set!!). It's 2 local girls who take turns singing/playing guitar or playing drums. They remind me a little of magneta lane, but with a harder edge, which I appreciate.
Also, when did spoken word poetry get good? Usually I find it mildly annoying, but the two poets from the Toronto poetry slam that preformed today were wicked-awesome, and quite funny. Anywho, today was the last day, but if you live in the GTA I'd check it out next year. The last time I went was 2 years ago, and except for the number of zine dealers (waaaaay down, gotta publish some of my stuff!), everything has gotten much better!
So yes, this is me, plugging things which are good.
For the record; jujubes, vintage dresses, and chocolate bodywash are also on this list.
