Hey, I know I don’t write these as much but I thought I’d write it out here and upload a screencap of it to x and Bluesky

Since I’m picking up a bit more traction I’d like to formally solidify my prices for commissions (btw I’m always open for those, shoot me a message)

currently studying to get into college n shit, y'know, big gap years and what not. I got expensive hobbies, so I need an expensive job, which brings me to my next thing:

I might open a Patreon.

which sounds scary, considering I don't have a big following enough and the time to keep a regular schedule of art flowing to reasonably make this some sort of form of income. I'd like to clarify that I would only be opening a Patreon to do nothing but support me financially for whatever the hell I spend that money on.

I'd like to make it clear that I never want to open a Patreon to lock my art behind a paywall.

this is my hobby, not a job. I have been enjoying what I've been doing these past few months since I've started gaining some good ground and following, and I'm beyond humbled and thankful to everyone who even remotely likes my stuff. These past few months have been the most validating months I think I've ever had since I started drawing smut. It started out with the intention to make money off of, but after several years of struggling to find this sort of social validation and following (even if it's this small) I've come to find that I enjoy what I make more than I wanted to profit off of it initially. To be short: I changed.

What I had in mind Patreon-wise is to do it sort of like how R-MK does it, by making most if not all of their work free and public but with a small and out of the way plugin to the Patreon page, where you can pay a very small fee to see that watermark removed. FOR NOW THOUGH, if I did go through with the Patreon, it would literally just be donations (like 1$ tier only lol)

I'm kinda procrastinating away from studying rn to write this up but I really do mean what I saw about all the support, I'm just really angsty and nervous to say these things (I love ADHD B))))))) All this really is an update and small little reminder of what I might do in the future and my appreciation of all of yall.

Also let me re-iterate: I will never lock my art behind a paywall, all of my art is FREE to view. 100%, Zero bullshit. Hot Singles in your area.

I put out some work I’m happy with (I might open commissions sometime in the future with the quality of the cel shaded ones, I’m not confident enough with the fully blended stuff yet) but all that mojo has been put to a temporary stop/ slowdown

I am studying a lot for college because I really don’t want to be doing regular work force stuff, the older people I hang around there are difficult to be around and make me think I’ll be the same if I keep working these jobs, so after my almost 2-3 GAP year, I’ve picked up studying for the past week so far for architecture.

The studying won’t come to a stop until I’ve hit my math requirements for the placement testing

It would be really nice to get some feedback on some of the works I put out as far as commissions go because I really really REALLY want to draw other people’s characters in my style and make some money off the side to get some extra cash in the bank for school, lunches, etc. etc….

So I'm at work looking at r34 in private cus I had a friend who told me that some of my art was uploaded there (by some bot apparently) and I was curious to just see their score and comments and the most recent one I uploaded (I assume its a bot that rips from e621 when it's uploaded (I need to start uploading there as well...)) had such a negative comment on there, straight up 0 criticism just flat out shade thrown towards me

Like, I mean, I like the larger proportions I draw and I like mature characters with rather thick bottom lips and sometimes I try to (imo) tastefully upscale those proportions cus why not lmao. It's not t h a t bad is it?

I'm not super hurt over this it's just an anonymous comment on the internet, and I'm not like, mad at the person who said it, I just thought I'd share lmao.
