What would Mazel wear for Halloween? Probably some sort of a succubus...

What about Notes? Well I find a great deal of irony in making her dress up like a devil...

Aiela would just be a sugar plum fairy. I blame the baking.

They have some pretty cool things to do there! Roller derbies, Kerby Lane's migas, kayaking downtown!!!

Yeah I think I've found a new state to love. :)

Recently I've learned my grandmother is very ill and she's not projected to live much longer. On top of her heart functioning at a mere 20%, she's also developed interstitial lung disease, which slowly breaks down her lungs and will ultimately take her life if her heart holds out long enough.

I've been blessed not to have suffered through too many deaths and now that my grandmother is lingering on borrowed time, I find myself crying off and on. We are never really ready to say goodbye, are we? She tells me at 80, she's lived a good life and when her heart stops, that will just be it. It's heart breaking to hear her talk that way, but at the same time, I understand why she says it. I keep questioning which conversation will be my last one with her and I'm cherishing as many moments with her as I can.

I'm quietly aching over my grandmother's condition and can't find the words to tell anyone on any other social media outlets. This will be the only place I post it.

My heart is heavy and my eyes are red.

Whoop whoop!

Hello loves! It's been a while! So I thought I might bop on over and give a birthday update!

1) The YCH auction featuring Mazel is likely a looooong way off (potentially to the point of never) so I hope you can forgive the hype of the piece. Sometimes artists get busy with life and that's been the result.

2) Where have I been? Well frankly my real life just kinda blew up as it has a tendency to do. My husband is dealing with potentially going down to part time, I'm looking at the job market and we are analyzing our financial structure to move forward and still pay our bills. Plus my daughter has been award central at school this year and has asked me to be involved so that's taken up a great deal of time.

3) Roleplay? This is something I have taken a huge step back from unfortunately. I may work on a side story for Mazel, potentially some fan fiction for any who may have an interest, but anything serious is quite a ways off if I'm going to be honest. So for now, roleplay is on hold for her until I can flesh out something substainal. I do however have Notes around if there's an interest there.

4)Furcadia? I might pop in every now and again and I'm always open for conversation when I log on. These instances will be few and far between. I'm enjoying email and skype rp as it is. (Curious? Leave me a note here to discuss the possibility. And please not just rp sex inquiries. I do like a plot loves.)

5)So what now? I hope to be more present on FA as I have enjoyed the community here and the wonderful reception to both my characters and myself. I'm always available via my notes and will respond to any comment in my journals.

Hello watchers!

It's been a while so I thought it was time for an update.

I am finally moved into the new house and life is going well. Just have to make it through the next few weeks of dental procedures and then I'm good to go.

I've decided in my break from the internet life that I would like to get Mazel some further exposure in the community of FurAffinity.

That being said, I have spoken with an artist that will be posting a YCH in November featuring a slot with Mazel. I intend to approach a few other artists to gauge interest in the character as well as the fanbase response.

Interested in roleplay? I'd love to indulge any curiosity in regards to the Syrian Groenendael.

Also, are you interested in getting art of your character and Mazel? Just drop me a message and we will see what can be worked out. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.

On an entirely different note, I do intend to sell a few of my additional designs so if you see something you like, send me a private message and maybe we can arrange something.

Hey guys! Sorry I've not been around much. I promise I've been lurking FA, just been too distracted to upload anything new, hence the wild spam of things.

And a question for you all. I commissioned an art piece back in December and was promised that it would be completed by February. I've kept touch with the artist, but still there seems to be no sense of urgency to take care of their customers. I understand that life happens and that artists require more time to get certain pieces done. How long is the longest you've ever waited for a commission?

Sometimes those simple words are just the thing we need to hear to remind ourselves that some people just genuinely suck. It's not very often I get aggravated with people in my life, yet inevitably, this is an imperfect world that can astound you with some disappointments that fall into your lap. People may not be who they seem. They may do things you disapprove of. And inevitably, everyone will meet at least one person in their lives that will give them the experience of disappointment.

Recently I had to say goodbye to a friend of mine that I'd considered incredibly close to for the last 15 years. I'd be lying to say I wasn't sad about it, but I also realize that slandering the woman would do little to help me in any way. Negativity spreads so rather than spread more anguish and layer my sad cake with regretful statements, I'll leave it with this.

I wish you the best in your life, even if it does not include me. You've your opinions and I have mine and while once we shared everything, now it seems time to part our ways. People come and go, but it's my hope that you find the people you need to make your life wonderful.

(Even though the person will never see this, sometimes it helps to just get it off my chest.)

All of that being said, I wish you all a wonderful day, if not week. You are amazing people worthy of happiness, in any way you can find it.

(Call me a hippie if you want, idc. I just want to take the bad and make it something good.)
