Inglorious Basterds
Posted 16 years agoInglorious Basterds was amazing. Easily the best film I've seen in at least a year. The description of it as a Spaghetti Western in World War II is pretty damn accurate.
Go see it!

Anybody want free art?
Posted 16 years agoAny way, so I'm mostly out of ideas. Does anyone want free art? Let me know what you want and I will do the best that my rather limited artistic skills will allow to provide it.
Comment with what you want if you want free artz.

R.I.P. Pontiac
Posted 16 years agoSo, General Motors killed of Pontiac, wonderful just wonderful.
They just killed of the only brand of theirs that has made any exciting cars in the past ten years, (2010 Camaro notwithstanding).
So much for ever seeing another GTO or Trans-am.
If the government is really concerned about GM succeeding, they will let it build the kind of cars and trucks people want to buy not little shit-box hybrids.
Americans want power!

WTF John Madden?
Posted 16 years agoIn the Super Bowl Last night Madden must have said "penetration" or some variation thereof at least twenty times.
There's something disturbing about senile old man saying "penetration" over and over while describing a game being played by a bunch of men wearing tights.
...And now for something not so completely different.
"There appears to be a man and his dog dropping money out of a blimp"
"Ah, Yes, this is the old apologizing to your wife for spending $150,000 dollars a week of misappropriated welfare."
"Well whatever it is they're ruining a perfectly good game of FOOTBALL!"

Posted 17 years agoI really have been trying to put up some more stuff. I have a few stories in the pipeline and being much more confident in my writing ability than my drawing ability they should be better than any pics that I have put up so far (although, that's not saying much).
The only problem is that right now I am completely burried with schoolwork. Working on my Masters Thesis while taking two other classes (with about 350 pages of reading plus reading notes per week) is a bit of a challenge. Hell, I should be working on my thesis right now but instead I'm posting this journal that probably will not even be read by any one else. Oh Well. Anyway, after today's post which has been sitting in my computers hard drive for about two weeks don't expect anything new until mid-December.
I'm tired of hearing election results so...
Posted 17 years agoI thought I would try this meme that's been floating around.

Well there it is. Despite the fact that I have 6000+ songs on my Ipod; The White Stripes, Iron Maiden, and Foreigner all showed up twice. Granted I have most of the White Stripes and Iron Maiden albums on there, I only have one Foreigner album, strange the way these things work out some times.
On a more political note: I think that it is time to abolish the electoral college or at least switch away from a winner take all system. Electorally, Obama wins 2:1 where as popularly, Obama only wins by about 5-7%. Which is more fair?
