UPDATE.

I'd like to apologize for the sluggish activity. It's been of mixture of all of us having busy lives and such, and perhaps the fact we are still somewhat small. The other problem is having a group on FA is sort of one-sided, since only the moderators can post submissions and journals. Although it's not required, Facebook is still the best place to go as far as us all being interactive. We have a few members who post stuff every once in a while, sharing the artwork they get of their characters and such--which is awesome! I highly encourage you all to do the same. Share your interests, even if it has nothing to do with wolves or fursonas--we're a pack so if you find something cool you want to show us all--do it! :)
So that's all I have to say for now. This may or may not be the last post you see in a while. I'm going to try to keep a closer eye on this account for the next week, so that I can check for responses to notes that I've sent replies to.
Oh hey also--thank you to those who are watching us but not necessarily members. It's awesome that you've taken an interest in our group! If you wanna join just send me a note (you should join!!) Something I'd like to try!

Myrrdyn Speaking!So I'm thinking about doing a creative writing thing for to get more creative in my writing, but I also was thinking about trying something that involves the pack. Ya know like a story "Scenario" thing and thinking it'd work best over FA with the whole comment branching. and does not quite exist on FB. Would any of you be interested? It'd be like a Choose your own adventure but trying to work it out with you on how you/your fursona would realistically act.
Any ideas or suggestion on how any of you think we should work this out? Individual paths, or a large thing that @KatanaRedwolf​ and I can try to run? I don't want to call this role-play for the sake that it'd be clean fun!

KatanaRedwolf speaking!Hey guys! First I'd like to say welcome to the new pack members we have so far! Glad to have you with us and hope you enjoy your time with our pack. <3
Second, I'd like to announce that
myrrdyn is now our second moderator for the group! He will be helping me keep the group alive by giving us some fun interactive posts relating to our fursonas (most of which will occur on our Facebook page.) I have some plans for our FA page as well, and I will be doing my best to give us some fun activities on here. Mostly fursona related questions that you will have to answer either as your character or yourself.Third, we are now allowing ALL canine species to be a part of the pack. As much as I was excited for a pack of wolf-enthusiasts, there simply aren't as many wolves interested in being a part of a pack as I would have imagined. But on the other hand I've had a TON of interest coming from people with fursonas of other species. I did a poll and some of you generally agreed to at least allow all canines. So to keep ourselves from being too limiting and giving us more opportunity for new members, that is how it is going to be from here on.
Last thing, our group has been around for almost 6 months! Hard to believe it's been that long. But anyway, here soon I will be getting in touch with those of you who have been dead silent for the past 4-5 months and make sure that you are still interested in being a part of the group. I want to see a hint more activity from all of you. Not expecting everyone to be super active but if you could participate every great once in a while, even if it's just once every couple weeks or, heck, even once a month, that would be great! For those who are exclusively on FA and not a part of our Facebook group, I can't blame you for lack of activity on here since we've literally had ZERO activities with the FA page xD. So no worries there. But once I get things going here, please try to interact about as much as I mentioned above. I'm not asking too much, I don't think.

So here's the deal, we need more members. Our group is pretty small as-is, and we only have a few on our Facebook page that tend to post occasionally. Not that it's a big deal, I like having our group be easygoing and such so there's no requirement that you HAVE to participate. But do take a peek at our Facebook page every once in a while if you can, support some of our fellow group member's posts with a "like" or friendly comment. That would be nice. :)
Back to the needing more members part. I'm going to ask you all a favor--if you know anyone who you think would be interested in becoming a part of our little community, please point them our way! Remember they have to have wolf/wolfhybrid fursona. Give them this link https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6291786/ as it has all the info they'll need in order to join.
Heck if you made a journal, that would be a huge help. BUT only if you want to! Advertisements usually annoy me, and it annoys me even more when people ask me to advertise for them xD so yeah, only do this if you feel like it. <3

RED MOON PACK--Announcement! "Titles"

Those of you that have been following along on Facebook have seen that we are changing the way our group members are listed. Instead of using the traditional Greek letter system, I held a poll to ask if we should go with an alternative idea, seeing as we don't actually follow a true hierarchy. The majority vote went toward getting rid of the pack "ranks" and instead substituting them with personal chosen "titles." Some of you already had titles from the beginning, but the rest of you that were listed under ranks will need to choose a personal title for yourself. It does not have to be "wolf" related, though you can put a wolfish spin on it if you want. For example, we have our Tech Wolf here 3DDotNikkiWolf who chose his title because his interests lie in gaming and technology :P
For those of you that are already listed under a title, if you want to change it to something else you are more than welcome to do so. You can let me know what you want either via note on our FA page or in the comments here. Either way.
For ideas I'll once again point out some of our current members who are listed under special titles: Tech Wolf, Nomadic Warrior, Hunter, Sentinel, etc.. Make up whatever you feel best works for you. RED MOON PACK--How to submit a member profile!

So something I'd like to do is have a bit of an intro to each member. Not like last time on Facebook where we all said a bit about our characters, I was thinking more of a profile page for each of us.
So here's what I'd like you all to do.
Note me (RedMoonPack) a link to your favorite artwork of your character (or fursuit photo, any image of your char is fine.) You can link a submission from your FA gallery or it can be from anywhere else. If it isn't mentioned on the submission then you will need to tell me who the artist is so I can give credit. Each person will get their own submission on this page with their character profile and image of the character. Credit will be given to both you and the artist. If you don't have any artwork of your character, let me know and maybe we can work something out :)
Second, fill out this questionnaire and include it in your note. It will be added to your character profile. Any questions that don't apply to your character or you can't/don't want to answer, erase from the list. If your fursona is a representation of yourself, then answer the questions as you would for yourself.

ABOUT OUR PACK AND HOW TO JOIN

1. You must have a wolf fursona...not a side character, an actual fursona. Feral or anthro is acceptable. Wolf hybrids/werewolves are fine, so long as the "wolf" portion of your character is the dominant species. To clarify, you can be a wolf-fox-tiger, "wusky," winged wolf, wolf dragon, or whatever other wolf-combination there is as long as it has distinct wolf characteristics.
2. You identify as a wolf. It doesn't have to be some deep spiritual thing, what I mean is that you feel a connection with that species. As in, you have a passion for wolves that goes beyond "I just think they're cool looking."
Just those two things. I'm not trying to be racist against other species xD it's just that this is a "wolf" pack so it would defeat the purpose to have anything else. I want this to be a place for people who strongly identify with wolves and have a passion for them.

How it works: My idea for how this pack will work is basically going to be similar to the way a real pack would function. Your pack-mates are your support group. We are all there for each other if you want to talk about problems you are having or ask any questions/advice. I think it would be fun at some point if we got some group artwork of all our characters together, which we can keep adding to as we get more members. After our group has grown a bit more I'll make us an official page. You can submit artwork of your character if you would like to have it featured on our page, or if you want to show off any artwork you've made that would be great too!
Activities: We will have a lot of talks about wolf-related things. You can share links to any cool wolf-related items you see for sale (sculptures, t-shirts, plushies, etc.,) fictional/nonfictional wolf books, wolf photos, websites with good info about wolves...so on and so forth. Perhaps given time we can even hold a little event to donate some money to a wolf rescue center.
Titles: The title system is mostly for fun and doesn't need to be taken too serious. You can choose to be anything you want to be within the pack. It's basically what you feel most applies to you or your fursona. So for example, if your fursona is a DJ, then you could have your title be "DJ Wolf." You'd be like the DJ of our pack. If your character is a fighter, maybe your title could be "warrior wolf" "guardian wolf" so on and so forth. Check the front page for more examples. Note: The titles that have already been chosen are NOT the only titles you can choose from! You get to make up whatever you want.
Roleplay: If enough people are interested maybe we'll spark up some roleplaying scenarios for the fun of it. RP is certainly allowed if anyone wants to start a game of their own accord. No one is required to participate in roleplay, only if you want to. :)
PARTICIPATION: This is important. After I get our page up you will need to be an active member or our little online community. Of course we all have busy lives--totally understandable-- but I want this group to thrive, not be dead and boring. So if you ask to join, at least be involved a little. Doesn't have to be anything big...leaving a comment here and there is enough. If you are inactive for too long, like 6 months straight, then I'll probably touch base with you to make sure everything is ok.
