Been a very long time for updates here, so i'm pleased to say that a few of us are going to do our best to keep the page up to date if there are any meetups or local events in and around ND area. But for now we have caught up on notes and Journal messages so if there is anything else, should be able to message more promptly now.
As for some events coming up, This upcoming weekend Aug 11th-12th, ""Wild Prairie"" Fur Con will be taking place in Winnipeg, MB. The website https://wpfcon.ca/home.html will show you more and you are able to register for the convention and look for hotel options there!!!!
Also coming up in the not so distant future, ""Furry Migration"" will be taking place Sept. 7th-9th in Minneapolis, MN. The Theme this year is "Midway Menagerie"!!! The website https://www.furrymigration.org/ will show you more and you are able to register for the convention and look for hotel options there!!!!

It's been a while, but I'd like to offer up my place for another get together :0) Was there even a NeeviCon this year?! Let's change that!
When: 12/30/16 @ 10 PM - 1/1/17 @ 5 PM
Where: Neevi's Apartment; Detroit Lakes, MN (Note Neevi on FA or message on telegram if you need specifics)
What: Usual format is hang out and do stuff as there is interest. Nothing specific planned. I usually cover one meal (e.g. a pizza run may be likely). There are several other places walking distance from my place for food and groceries. Feel free to bring something if you want to share it. I will not be supplying booze. Come and go as you are able. If you are drinking, have a DD or stay here. I have limited floor space available and a sweet futon that is my bed that can fit two... maybe three if people are creative ;3
Activities that I can supply:
-Fursuiting, if you really want to go out into the slush or be hot indoors.
-Saturn Bomberman with 6 player multitap (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
-Baku Baku - Furry tetrisy puzzle game for the Saturn?
-Other Video games: NES with 4 player multitap, PS1 with 4-player Multitap, PS2. Will accept challengers at Street Fighter EX2+, Pocket Fighter, & Mortal Kombat Trilogy (NO PICKING BOSSES! D:), ,
-Magic the Gathering: Standard, Modern, Commander, Cube, Anything Goes, +/- Planechase
-Board Games/Tabletop - Cards Against Humanity, San Juan, Takenoko, Dominion (+3 expansions), Chess w/ clock, Tsuro, Risk 2210 AD, Code Names, Scrabble, Fluxx, We Didn't Playtest This Game, Pandemic, Adorable Pandaring, Strife: Legacy of the Eternals, Edna Krabopoly

FURRY MIGRATION - MINNEAPOLIS 9/9/16 - 9/11/16
If you are interested in going, neevipanda is looking to fill up some rooms.
If you are able to drive and take some folks with you, we are looking for drivers. HALP!
If you wish to convoy, most of us will be leaving Thursday morning and returning Sunday evening.
If you have never been to a furry convention before, it doesn't get much closer than this! NeeviCon does not count, as much as I like to pretend that it does.

ANIME FARGO - FARGO 9/23/16 - 9/95/16
neevipanda has a hotel room booked. Let him know if you need to use it for changing/crashing or if you have a room that you would like to offer those services as well.

MIDWEST FUR FEST - CHICAGO (tho' technically Rosemont, IL) - 12/2/16 - 12/4/16
The usual convoy leaves Fargo the early Thursday morning prior and returns the following Monday morning.
Due to increased demand, we are not aware of anyone with open hotel room slots. We are also in need of drivers as well. Let us know if you are able to supply. If you are going and need a ride, let neevipanda know. He will try to figure something out as the day draws near.

guetdawg will be hosting a get together at his folk's hunting cabin the weekend of 8/5/16
What will we be doing there? There are plenty of trails to walk around. Plenty of space to hang out. Tabletop gaming. Fursuiting photo ops. You have the power to make it great! There are several beds/bedrooms if people want to spend a day or two. It would be a good idea to bring anything you think you might need, just in case. At baseline, there is no TV or wifi, but people are welcome to bring things that can help with that. There is also a kitchen to use if people want to bring food to make.
SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
guetdawg is leaving Fargo at ~ Noon on 8/5/16. He has room to take a few people in his vehicle. Other drivers can convoy out with him. Plan is to meet at the gas station in Osage (at the far end of town on the right side) at 3 PM. Then, everyone will follow him for about 5 minutes to the destination, since it may be tricky to find.
If you are unable to make those timeframes, message guetdawg to figure out how to get there

If anyone is interesting in joining a Magic cube draft,
has graciously offered his apartment. Please shout here or note if you are interested in attending and you will be added to the list. The cube has a limited number of cards, so there is a limit on the amount of people that can draft.
Maybe this is a good time to explain what is a cube draft. If you prefer lots of information, go here http://www.cubedrafting.com/what-is-the-cube/ . If you prefer the cliff's notes version, a CUBE is a Magic drafting format. The CUBE also refers to the set of cards that I will supply. Cards within the cube are all the powerful cards from past and present. I will supply the cards which will be made in to 15 card "booster packs". The cards will be drafted via the typical booster draft format. Meaning players have some time after drafting to make a 40 card minimum deck to duel with. Whoever wins the most, wins. What do you win? I don't know. You win my respect as being a bad ass Cube drafter and many extra panda hugs. Maybe more? When it is all said and done, we put the cards all back into the Cube box for another day.
If you have never booster drafted before, this may require some explanation. Feel free to ask here or directly to It's not that scary.
Lastly, please be mindful of the start time. We can make adjustments in advance. However, it is not fair to everyone that showed up on time if you are late and not communicating with the rest of us what you are doing with your life.

Thanks to hashtagnd for discussing with the theater management.
We are welcome to fursuit on 3/6/16 from 10-12 at the West Acres Theater
It would make sense to see it as a group shortly thereafter. However, I am not finding that tickets have gone on sale yet or any showtimes that have been posted. If someone could be on watch for that, that would be awesome.
In addition, there has been talk about bowling. If enough people are interested, West Acres bowl is just up the road for after movie entertainment.
Let us know if you are interested in suiting up at the theater and/or going to any of the other activities

Since the last update some faces have moved out of the valley while others have moved in. Others have always been here and came out of the shadows O.O or from behind the computer screen.
