I was told they are "wide open" that day for bowling.

Hello again!

This past weekend's events went great. Both the event at  hashtagnd's and at  bicoraalmasey &  higesama's place went very well and had great turnouts.

Given the positive turnout and enjoyment had by all  bicoraalmasey &  higesama are at it again. They will again be hosting a movie night on Sunday 09/07/2014. It looks like this may become a weekly thing if interest maintains.

Now they have both asked for suggestions for movies for next week and beyond. Your feedback makes things awesome. And if you don't pick something I'm going to start loaning them more MST3K movies. And no one wants that....or do they?

I would also like to gauge the interest in having a meetup in the near future for a game night of Werewolf. If you don't know the game its sort of a social lying/deduction game where you don't want to get eaten by the...you guessed it...werewolf. Unless your into vore. Here's the trick. This requires at least 7 attendees. And that's a big capitalized REQUIRES.


**UPDATED: WEREWOLF WEEKEND IS 09/20 - I'm at Furry Migration on the 13th!**

The first night of the Werewolf would be 09/20. That's just under three weeks from now so people have a chance to get this message. Get the word out or it can't happen. Because there is a significant number of players required to get this to work I need people to respond below if they are intending to show up. "For the start of the semester at UND we are hosting a fur meet for all Grand Forks furries. We are hoping that some new furs that are attending UND (or those who know furs that are) can show up. We used to have weekly meets, and are hoping to continue those, so this will serve as a beginning of the semester meet. Anyone that can attend should! It will be at the IHOP on 32nd ave on Friday, September 5th at 9:30pm. The meet will extend until…we get too tired! No suits, but tails are cool. Also we usually bring card games and stuff. So spread the word, show up, meet fuzzies, have fun!"

Also,  flyinfox is having a birthday that weekend in case you needed an extra excuse to party hardy! Further details on that will be posted when available.

If you are going to Furry Migration, you should consider coming to our panel's meet and greet.
It is on convention Sunday 9/14/14 at 9:30 AM in room Pawnee. This should be in the program =P I understand that some of you may prefer to sleep in. So, I won't take it personally if I do not see you there. Perhaps, knowing about this in advance will help get you pumped to attend and plan accordingly. The power... IS YOURS!

There are a few reasons I put in for this panel.

1) Let people know we exist and where we are located and what we do (or lack thereof)
2) Provide a set time when we can meet each other
3) Provide a set time when others that may know OF us but have not really met us all to do so

From 2:00-4:00 enjoy unlimited laser tag, rope climbing, bump-n-spin cars, trampolines, wall climbing and a giant slide for a low flat price. Bowling, mini golf, & the arcade games are at an additional expense.

This is a Fursuit Friendly event. Bring your full or partials suits and take part in the activities while being fuzzy.

Hello again everyone!

Its an exciting time of the year with so many things going on. I just wanted to get remind everyone of the great stuff going on
the next few weeks and months as well as announce a new event.

First, on August 2nd Neevi and I have been talking about running a meet up starting down at West Acres Mall around 5pm.
That should give most of our weekend workers a chance to get done with their jobs and still meet up. We'll hang out there
until we get bored and then see where the whim of the moment takes us. The intention is to meet in the main restaurant
pavilion so people can eat, chat and have fun.

I also expect I'll be running a MST3K meet in August sometime once my cold is fully resolved.

Hello everyone! I am happy to see that people read these here journals. Sometimes I wonder.

As you may or may not have known, the CoreCon 2015 journal caused a little confusion. # and I happened to bump into the contact person at CoreCon that does the fun room reservations while wandering the convention. We were talked about how we all wanted to do a party room but it didn't work out in 2014. She mentioned that we could reserve a spot for our fansuite type room right then and there. Previous journal was deleted to prevent confusion until everything was all sorted out.

 moonblazewolf is excited to be in charge of this project. Watch out, he may come looking for you! This will not be a RRVF event, but I'm sure it will be furry-related :3

Here’s a reminder for ya. June 27th to 29th, Furmeet at the cabin. I suggest bringing camping stuff, swimming stuff, booze stuff (preferably cans for beer darts ya know), Glowy and/or DJ-ing (if you want. Just don’t sound like shit) stuff, FURSUIT STUFF (hellz to the yeah), Smores stuff, and cash stuff because there is no such thing as an atm here. But there IS a bar. Those who were here last time know this. Well, 2 bars… sort of. Yeah.

The time I’m gonna be at the cabin will be around 5:30 on the 27th (Friday). So yeah, let the meet begin sometime around that time.

Here’s the google sh*t, https://goo.gl/maps/YynOY . Most of you guys are coming from the east. Actually, all of you guys are coming from the east….ANYWAYS, the easiest way to get there is by taking Exit 170 off the interstate and from there just go south. When google tells you to take the gravel road, give me a call (701-321-1988), I shall escort you to the cabin in the most proper and respectable way possible.

Also, try not to get hurt during this meet. I only have 1 triage tag.

I am not aware of anyone that was able to secure a room at the doublewood for core con.

Therefore,  hashtagnd and I ( neevipanda), have secured a room at the country inn & suites across the street. (technically two separate rooms on two separate reservations to cover the four days)

***My reservation at Country Inn and Suites was messed up!
***Thursday and Friday night's rooms will be at the Quality Inn just southwest of the convention hotel.
***The good news is my room is now only 60$ a night!

Anyone interested in needing a place to change into suit and/or crash after a night of drinking get in contact with one of us :)

***Fursuit changing space is free!!! Only crashing costs!

If you are planning on sleeping there, the cost is $120/day divided among those staying in the room.

***Thursday and Friday are only $60/day divided among those who stay!!!!
