Guilds.

The best ones want you to be hardcore. So many hours in game a day and so on.
The better ones require you to use teamspeak or mumble. Disruptive! And it you don't use it, you miss 90% of what's going on, and or make players mad.

The ones that don't require teamspeak are tiny tiny and have little to no benefits to you as a member.

I love the idea of mmos and online games, but I like more casual play with spurts of hardcore on odd occasions.

I love the idea of wow. The game gets old to me fast. Dungeons are binary-- fun and not fun. Reasonable length and way too fucking long. I was in a Star Trek online dungeon for -- literally-- over 3 hours once. Some games require you to dungeon as part of your main quest line! Damn you, ffxiv, I loved youuuuu!!!

Eve online is too hardcore even though I fucking love the idea of it.

Started playing swtoro, servers too laggy. Free play is too time consuming and not rewarding enough despite my founder and preferred status.

Tera online is just a twinge too hardcore and Grindy for me.

Sto is too easy yet too long-paced.

Dungeons and dragons is ugly. Aion looks too bishonen oriented for me. I like me some bara!
Lol and Starcraft are toooo competitive, tf2 is cute but omg chaotic unplayable for me.

I don't know. I think I listed the major ones. Help? What's fun? XD I want to be able to interact with people but I just hate the state of things.

I get it! Not many people like seeing Red be tiny. Trust me, he won't be tiny for very long. I just wanted to establish that he has the ability to be tiny. Red doesnt even like being tiny most of the time. Makes him feel uneasy and vulnerable.

Rest assured that Red will be his big oversized self before long.

I'm sorry guys. I've been busy busy, but not so much that I can't make time to draw. I just have been cleaning the house and gaming a lot in my spare time. More of the latter, lately, but I'll be back housecleaning again soon. So much to do. But yeah, I plan to draw more ASAP. Probably tomorrow.

So asking people to join me in sto was a bust. What multiplayer games do y'all play? What server?

Also, Xbox one had really screwed the pooch. They're gonna have to move very carefully now, and make a lot of changes if they want their product to sell well.

I've been playing more due to the recent expansion... Anyone play that I don't have on my friends list?

Also, why the hell does every guild require voice chat? So unnecessary in a game like sto, and it's so invasive... I mean, I get it in FPS games...

My first game was Star Wars: Rebel Assault. A rail shooter. I remember my dad got me a joystick specifically for that game. I also remember the canyon run in Luke's t16 Skyhopper was hard. I only beat the game years after I first got it, but the disk got all scratched up and I could never play it again.
Then I got XWing, and that game was super tough. I never got really far in that one. But theeeen I got Tie Fighter. I remember it well. It was on floppy disk, and unlike XWing it didn't require a password every time you got on... I enjoyed the lucasarts newsletters the previous owner had left in the box... Sam and Max. Lol. I remember being so proud when I received the mark of the emperor. Beat that game. It was easier than XWing, and by that time I had a sidewinder joystick.
Most of my early games were Star Wars games, and only on PC.

Then I got Jedi knight, never got really far early on, beat it years later. Tried the demo for the original dark forces, was freaked out by the garbage tentacle monster. Years later bought and beat that game.

By that time I had need for speed II...

Later got Jedi knight II Jedi outcast... That game was so much fun. I remember watching the lucasarts website for updates as the game was being made.

And ughh, I remember XWing alliance. I got all the way to the Death Star mission and was so proud of myself, but I could never figure out how to escape the Death Star as it blew up around me. My computer later died, and I played through again, never finishing the Death Star mission. Now it won't run on any of my computers because it's so old :( it was such a good game. I miss Star Wars flight sims. God, so much fun. I have a huge collection of Star Wars pc games. It's really sad to me that lucasarts is out of business right now. I hope that we get good games in the future, but I doubt it. Look at the awesome looking game they canceled. Ugh, burns me up. Checking in on the lucasarts website had become a tradition of mine. Now I won't have that anymore.

Heading off to San Diego to spend the weekend with friends, and maybe see Star Trek in IMAX. In fact, I'll be bugging people until we do. 'Cause I wanna see it. Like, really bad.

I have a paper coming up on the 22nd, so when I get home from this weekend I'm going to spend a lot of time researching for it and writing it. Probably won't be posting much art for a little while.

So manga studio has the shittiest lack of options when it comes to adding text. I may end up just using it for lineart. It kicks ass at that. I'm hopeful that it'll be good a coloring...

I was wrong. It's done automatically depending on which way you drag the text box you've created. That's why there isn't a dialogue box. I'm just used to photoshop's way of doing things is all. Manga Studio 5 is awesome! :D

Also: in going out of town to see iron man 3 in theaters and eat Ethiopian cuisine. Yessssssssss....
