Who's ready for Kinktober 2023? I'm actually on the ball this year and have all my captions ready to go in advance. I hope you're ready for 48 captions of fetishy goodness, including 10 2-part captions and 6 uncensored versions.

I will be participating in Kinktober 2022 this year, with a new caption image or story with images every day. Unfortunately, when I tried posting test captions earlier in the summer I ended up banned for a week. It turns out the rules for real images on this site are ridiculously puritan (even my fully clothed captions were removed), considering you can draw full penetration and no one bats an eye. So if you want to see what I've been working on for the last few months, you'll have to flip over to my DeviantArt profile (https://www.deviantart.com/redstar-stories).

Tried something different to get my creative juices flowing and put together a series of caption stories versus my (very long) short stories. Let me know what you think and if you'd like to see more (either of the Mesenet Clinic or other topics).

Well, that was a wild ride. Thirty-one stories (and a few false starts) and a week late, I'm finally done with Kinktober 2021. In total, I managed to crank out just under 50K words (almost broke the novel cap) in a month and a half. All while being on travel for the last half of November, which directly resulted in the week delay on the back end. I hope you all enjoyed reading the stories as much I enjoyed writing them. It was fun to stretch a little and try to find ways to adapt my own kinks to fit all kinds of scenarios. I look forward to doing it again next year, but this time I won't procrastinate so much.
But wait, I'm not done yet. To cap off the month (and break that pesky 50k total) I plan to do one more story based on reader choice. As Deviant polls are capped at 10 options, please use the comments section of this journal to vote for one of the daily stories. You can choose the one you liked best, or the one you'd like to see more of, or even the one you think will be the greatest challenge for me to write. At the end of the month, I'll see which story or chain of stories was most popular and put together a capstone piece. Until then.

I had a lot of fun coming up with a story for Kinktober two years ago. When I saw that https://www.deviantart.com/pyperhaylie had a new list for this year, I knew I wanted to go all-in and try for a story every day. It won't be easy, but I work best with a goal and a timeline.

All my stories are linked by common character names (Casey and Alex), but beyond that everything is fluid. Different genders, different world types, different fetishes, etc. Most are stand-alone stories, but I have a few ideas that will cross over multiple days. I've been working on some non-erotic stuff, but in the spirit of Kinktober/Locktober I decided to finish and publish some stuff I've been sitting on for a while. I just wanted to drop a journal and let you know I'm still alive. I took a few months off from publishing paid stories due a desire to try something else and disliking how some of the stories I had yet to publish turned out. But now I'm back with two new paid stories for this month. February is a month of love (at least that's what Hallmark tells us), so both stories focus on a very special kind of relationship. Namely, between sissies and their Masters. For my new Build-A-Sissy Workshop universe this is a loving relationship. A kinky, sex filled, loving relationship. Sorry for the long delay, but I finally put up the story previews for this month. First up is the The Clinic, in which Josh Wallace and his friends head off for a medical rite of passage that will determine their future gender and sexuality.
The other story for this month is A Pirate's Life for Me. Something a bit different than normal, with more focus on the romantic development, but a climatic transformation to keep my usual readers happy.
If you haven't already, be sure to check both of them out. As a spoiler for next month I will only be releasing one story, but it's the longest paid story I've written so far (a whopping 30k+ words). This month Amazon delayed my publishing for a few days (possibly as I was using my own images for covers instead of using their cover creator). Fingers crossed that was a one time thing, but don't panic if you don't see a new story for a few days. Hopefully as soon as it goes through I'll drop the previews for you to see. Until then.

It's hard to believe it, but tomorrow will mark my one year anniversary as a paid short story writer. I never thought I'd be doing this full time for a year and looking back I can see the huge amount of text I've put out. Things will be changing soon with my new job, but hopefully I'll still be able to put out the same quality of stories you all love (just maybe at a slower pace). In celebration, I spent the day spiffing up all the thumbnails for my stories. Before I had just the base art from the covers, which might have been confusing to people who didn't realize they were stories. Now they all have the story name and some tags, which should hopefully clear things up. Even if some are harder to read than others due to the underlying images. Let me know if you catch any typos, doing almost 40 covers in a row might have made me miss something. Stay tuned for another announcement soon, where I'll post my two new previews for the month (and possibly some freebies).

As I prepare another round of stories for publishing, I once again find that I much prefer creating stories to creating story covers. With this in mind, I'm thinking of collaborating with others for my covers. In addition to getting to read the story for free (to give you a better idea of what to put on the cover), I'd be willing to put up a modest commission. I would also credit you as the artist in the publishing data (if desired). The images would need to be suitable for posting on Amazon (they have their own list of criteria that far too long for me to put in this post) and either original art or with royalties properly sorted out. If anyone is interested, shoot me a message so we can sort out the details.

After a month off I'm back and have posted two new stories for sale. Growing the Pride and Cats and Bells finish off the Feline Family Trilogy I started with The Lioness Underground. I just posted previews of all three stories, along with the second and third stories in Creatures of Perverted Myth series. Those of you following my work know I have a bit of universe ADD. I have a new shiny idea and run off with it before fully exploring the one I'm currently in. As such, I have several series that have 2-5 stories, yet plenty more room to grow. As I only have so much writing time available, I decided to turn to the community to see where I should backtrack. As such I decided to use this journal as a poll. I'll lay out several series I could go back to, and you reply which ones you'd like me to write in the most. At the end of the month I'll tally up the votes and get writing. If it works out well, I might turn this into a monthly occurrence. So without further ado, here are your options:

A: Brighthaven Zoo. The next story in the series would probably focus on the grand opening, with some of the guests staying as attractions.

B: Nora the Alchemist. I had a few ideas for this one, including sale days such as Furry Friday and Gender Swap Thursday. I could also do Sarah and Nora's wedding, which would leave a lasting impression on some of the guests.

C: Unlocked Potential. The story would revolve around how Freya settles into becoming the Baroness.

D: Tales of Lateconia. I have a few ideas for stories in this universe, most involving different kinds of rubberized beings and their transformations (Concubines, Enforcers, etc).

E: The Sisterhood of Saint Abel. These stories could either take place after 17 goes to meet her new master, or focus on another poor soul falling under the Sisterhood's control.

F: Something else. While I think 5 choices is plenty for a start, perhaps there's a story you're dying to see continued. It might not make it onto the roster this month, but if I continue this option I'll rotate though my universes. Option F is to guide me toward who I should include next month.

I recently uploaded previews for many of my paid works, filling in the last couple months I was missing. I'm hoping to get them up regularly now, to keep everyone apprised about what's available. I plan to add a few more things in the next week or so, updating artwork, adding commission prices, and putting together a poll to see which direction my followers want me to write next.
