Posted a month agoI have made a critical error. I was going to finish and post Chapter 10 before going to work but then I noticed that, well.
The first part of the chapter is missing. It's just not there. I know I typed it. Did it just fucking walk off the face of the earth...? Either way I guess I'm gonna have to type it AGAIN later. -0- Because thank goodness it's on paper.

Posted a month agoSo I notice the chapters of Physical Fatness now display on the site proper? Neat. I'm gonna see if I can get the formatting to work though; the italics and bold text isn't appearing for the file previews. If I can get that sorted out I can just not worry about copy pasting the chapter at all so hopefully this is something that can be done!

Regarding Payment Platforms

In the interest of doing commissions in the future, I'd like to know if there are any SECURE payment platforms out there that will not spill our legal name and information to everyone who wants to commission us! Because I don't know about you, but with current concerns about internet privacy on the whole, I'm none too thrilled about the idea of running commissions on a platform that requires our legal name (a name associated with the gender we align with the least) to be given out to strangers. This is the biggest roadblock regarding commissions, considering the process of making a business PayPal has been attempted previously and it was ultimately given up because the process was extremely frustrating.
I want our information to be kept safe, and the less folks who have access to it, the better, in my book. While I reckon most commissioners haven't got any ill will in mind, I do value our privacy and I'm willing to try a new platform to keep it.
TL;DR, we're looking for a payment processing platform that will:
-Keep our legal name anonymous
-Keep our information secure
-Be accessible and not be a nightmare to sign up for

(Garret and Kaiser) Plurality and the nickname feature
Posted 2 months agoSince I'm helming the ship for a while I changed the username to Henrik the Skunk, I hope that's not confusing.
That said I like the ability to change the name. While Evan was heading things it made sense to use the name Garret and Kaiser because Evan relates super hard to Garret as a character. I don't relate to Garret nearly as much myself. I admire big, I like looking at big, I don't want to be big myself. Representing myself with a fat guy just doesn't feel right. We'll still be posting the same kinda stuff for sure, no worries there.
When Evan's ready to come back we'll definitely change it back but while I'm here, I wanna be seen as myself. I'm just concerned it might be confusing. So whenever a name change is made we're gonna write a journal about it.
Definitely will try not to do this too often, but as often as we feel is necessary. For example if the current nickname used on the account is associated with an alter who hasn't been active for a long time, we would change that because that name would no longer be one we identify with.
Anyway I'm gonna see about getting my fursona drawn up and posted. I like them a lot. ^_^

Making progress too. At my current rate I think y'all should have Chapter 9 relatively soon. Evan didn't think he was burned out but I think he definitely was. He still kind of is or I think he'd be working on his own damn story instead of letting one of his headmates take the lead on the project for a while.
But hey, that's what headmates do. When one of us gets too stressed out or burned out with life, another one of us can just fill in for a while. At least, that's how it works for us, every system is different.
Anyway. I hope this chapter is worth the wait. :0 I'm just vibing through it so far.

Posted 2 months agoAre we back? Mayhaps. The prospect of writing Physical Fatness once again sounds fun.
Evan and the rest of the gang that uses this account haven't been very active (hence the inactivity), so it might just be me for a while. I'm Henrik (nonbinary, he/they). I've only been in the system for a couple months but I like fat furs, I can carry the torch until Evan is ready to do his thing again. My 'sona is a skunk. Maybe I'll draw him some time.
Also we've got two notes despite having a giant thing on our page that says "do not send unsolicited notes" because we get anxiety attacks from being sent notes and private messages from strangers. So I don't know who's done that since we haven't checked our messages yet but I guess it's up to me to check 'em. At least the meds are helping take the edge off.
I'll see what I can do. Nice to meet ya. :)

writer's block is a pain
Posted 4 months agoWriter's block is a pain. In fact there seems to be a block related to all things Physical Fatness. Can't write it, can't draw it. Brain just won't. I don't even think it's burned out, it just won't engage.
For like, five whole minutes tonight I wanted to, and it sounded like fun, before the brain fog and the block settled in again. I have no idea what the problem is. ;_; Just overall having a hard time engaging the brain tonight. I wanna work on the next chapter tonight so much but the brain does not wanna cooperate, aaa.
Might finish an old sketch first...? That might help.
Sorry, I'm using this journal as a sounding board. It's just been a lot of silence from us lately and Physical Fatness creative block has been to blame. :T Hopefully not for much longer.

Posted 4 months agoI'm honestly flabbergasted with how supportive this community has been? Look, I'm from a small fandom where I've been kicking around for years, with people who enjoy my work but tend not to interact much for whatever reason. This is my first time posting anything NSFW, and I wasn't really expecting to get so many supportive comments and watchers. I'm just. Thanks so much, I appreciate all of it, even if I don't reply directly.
I know it's the impostor syndrome talking when I feel like my stuff isn't good enough. Or maybe it's the fact that I spent years shaming myself for what I liked and trashing perfectly good stories I wrote just for fun that makes me feel that way. The only two I've kept have been Physical Fatness and the still-fragmented Scaling Mount Everyst, because those two stories meant a lot to me personally as I struggled to come to terms with how I felt about kink and the shame I've trained myself into feeling around it.
It's been amazing to see others getting joy out of Physical Fatness and my stuffing/weight gain stuff, especially now that I'm able to take a lot of joy in it myself. It's wild that I'm even publishing it; this kind of shit used to stay confined to a box stashed under my bed years ago. It's so good to be free of the self-shaming. And I'm happy that my newfound freedom has brought something enjoyable into your lives. :) Thanks for being here.

Chapter 8 Delays
Posted 4 months agoIt could be a bit before Chapter 8 drops. The initial version I scratched up didn't really match my vision for the chapter or what I wanted to accomplish with it, so I'm doing some edits and rewrites. Finalizing the chapter has been extraordinarily difficult too for some reason. Hope I'm not burning out or getting too distracted by all the ideas I have for future books and chapters.
To summarize what's to come in the next chapter, Garret's bottomless appetite meets the bottom of his wallet, but maybe his boss can help with that?

Brief Hiatus on Physical Fatness
Posted 5 months agoSoooo the hypomania bit me in the ass last night and I wrote almost the entirety of Chapter 7 instead of you know, sleeping? (Don't be too concerned, I am on medication, it's just in the early stages of being taken and my dose is set to increase in a couple of days.) So, our system caretaker, let's call him Mr. Storm, had to yoink me and Milo away from the computer all day. Now we're taking a short break to draw instead of typing up the next chapters for publication. Just letting you know it might be a bit of a longer wait before Chapter 6 drops. It'll be a very short hiatus, promise. oOo

Posted 5 months agoYeah so Chapter 3 is fully written and everything, ready to go. But I wanna finish typing and finalizing Chapters 4 and 5 before I publish Chapter 3. That way I have more time to actually write the next chapters while also having stuff ready to go so there's not as much stress on me. :0 Writing weight gain is a fun, relaxing thing for me and I intend to keep it that way.
