The new system for rendering text is really nice. Being able to have PDFs render in browser is exciting because I can make my texts look fancy now without making everyone download just to read. Although I do see myself sticking to default text for the most part. Although this does give me the idea to start incorporating more visuals into my stories.

On one hand, it sucks having list my job a month ago. On the other, I never felt so much less stress in my life. Weird.

In short: hours at work are being cut. It's getting hard to get a steady source of income. I don't want to have to get a second job. I think my Blender skills are better than when I started. I would like to open up for Blender commissions. Nothing huge. Here are the prices I thought of.

- $5 for a single character
- +$2 for a background
- +$3 for a second character



Not sure if I'll get any bites, but I thought I would get the info out there.

Glad to be back. Although the downtime really made me think about the longterm. Idk, I'm just rambling.

I got a backlog of stuff I gotta upload. It's not much. Some Blender stuff I made, and a commission I'm really excited about. I was debating on just using Postybirb to just do it all at once, but I think I'll schedule it all out. Like a post a day. I really hate being that kind of guy who floods notifications.

I'm deciding on making a kanban board for all of my Blender stuff. I want to try and open up to requests after I get some more practice in. Once I clear out my idea backlog, I think I'll dip my toes into the possibility.

I really want to force myself to get more work done. At least in the 3d aspect. So to solve this, I was thinking of doing a weekly livestream. It would probably be thursdays. Most likely in the mid-afternoon. If you're interested, check out my picarto page linked above.

As for requests, I was HEAVILY debating on the possibility of doing such a thing. I'm not sure how I would go about it.

I want to make one thing clear: I love writing. I love creating stories. It's a fun process. However, things have become clear over time. My ADHD makes it difficult to work on a wall of text. 3D stuff just...clicks. When I make things in Blender, I can lose hours in the process. I barely know any of the buttons, but I don't care. Making something in 3D is a similar kind of fun I used to have when I got deep into writing a story. Don't get it wrong, I can still have fun writing. I just need to be in a very specific setup to keep my ADHD distracted so I can write. Whereas with Blender, I can pop in anytime to mess around. I even have animation ideas brewing.

So I think my writing schedule needs to be remade so I can have some time set aside for Blender. I don't know if I'll ever fully transition away from writing. I've been doing it for over a decade of my life. I think next year I'll allow myself to get more experimental with Blender. I'll spend this year trying to finish one more writing project.

Reed Yenara is canonically short. Due to the vagueness of the new policy, I'll stop the art on him for now. I've been wanting to switch to Jason as my main OC for awhile now.

I had only realized today that my Ideas list was constantly growing, and nothing else was. I removed any story I knew I had no concepts for past "this sounds cool".

I have corrected this.

I think when it comes to writing, I would like for my FurAffinity page to focus on my furry content. I have to remember what brings people here. I still actively enjoy writing MLP fanfiction however. So I decided to come up with a new policy.

Besides my massive MLP project, no more MLP stories will be posted to my page going forward. They will still be posted to my FimFiction account linked here.

For those who want to read my MLP work will still be able to. For those here who don't have FimFiction accounts, I will be posting journals to advertise when I post a story there. I think this is a happy medium that works for me.

As of right now, my schedule every week is this:

Sunday - Writing
Monday - Writing
Tuesday - Gaming
Wednesday - Nothing
Thursday - Writing
Friday - 3D work in Blender
Saturday - Nothing




It's a little out of wack. There's no cohesion. So I'm thinking of revising it entirely. I want to make it work better for me so I can make more stuff for y'all to enjoy. I still want time for my massive mlp project. I think if I make it work better for me overall, you might see more than one post every other month.

So I think this revised schedule might work. I want to try and increase my writing output, but I still want some chill time. I also want time to get my brain off of My Little Pony to keep my mind fresh. I miss those shorter stories. Quick one off ideas, rather than these mini novels I'm trying to make all the time. That's why I'm giving myself 3 days for short stories. I think I can give myself a happy medium that way. The days I set aside for MLP are days I have off of work. So I can dedicate whole days to it, whereas the days for short stories I have about 4-5 hours before I have to go to bed. The gaming days are to break up the monotony of writing. Those days will be just as important.

I think tomorrow(Tuesday) will be a chill day. Wednesday will be when I start this new schedule. I'll try it for a month or two. We'll circle back afterwards.

I'm formatting it right now. I'll most likely post it on Thursday. I'm lowkey excited.

For the uninitiated, at the end of each year I get all of my unfinshed writing projects into one mega file. Said file will then be posted as a PDF. It's mainly something I do to clear out my writing folder for the sake of my sanity. It's such a relief to not have these old works cluttering up my head. Once this is posted, I'll be spending the rest of the year relaxing mostly.

Next year, I'll be setting myself some personal goals. I want to get more stories posted next year. This is something I'll go over in my a future journal.

Oh, and this scribble dump is looking to be about 42 pages.

The past few days have been bad. IDK what I had got, but sneezing a massive glob of blood and mucus tells me it wasn't good.

I'm so glad I got setup with a kanban board. I feel so much more organized now that I can have all my ideas on display in their stage of production.

As for being more productive...

So it's no secret that I'm nowhere near as active as I used to be. Like I said in a previous journal, I've been busy with a MASSIVE My Little Pony fanfic. It'll be my largest project to date (estimated to be well beyond 100k words). Although, this shouldn't be an excuse to not be active here. I want to make and upload content, but I still want to stick to my big MLP project. My current list of plans is this:

Weekly 1k challenges
These are great for speed writing practice. They are fairly well received when I post them. I tend to post 1k story ideas on my kanban board (link below) when I get them, so I have ideas I can pull from later. I'll also have to utilize my story prompt generator that I programmed ages ago as well. This would accomplish a steady feed of content outside main projects.


More frequent journal posting
I think that journals count as content in my opinion. So I'll post more journals. I don't expect y'all to comment on everything I upload. If anything, I'll use journals to catalogue my progress on things. Keep all of you in the loop a lot more. This would accomplish staying in contact with the folks that follow me.


Make money
This one's quite simple. I would really like to be able to eventually make some sort of income off of what I do. I understand that this is something that won't happen soon. The number of writers in the furry community making a living that I know of are in the single digits. Getting commissions as a writer is hard. That's why I think I'll look into writing a book or two to publish. I have an idea for a furryXhuman macro/micro story that would be really cool to make. Though clearing out my plate is the main goal before I go for money-making.

Kinda dropped off after my last major story. No secret there. To be honest, I've spent the last five months writing My Little Pony fanfiction. Stepped out of my comfort zone to expand my horizons. It was kinda cool. Got to meet new people. Picked up some knowledge. In February, I'm getting back into my regular furry trash.

Idk what I'll do, but it'll be fun.

I really need to organize my writing projects. Trello seemed like a solid option. My current cloud service CryptPad offers an alternative to a trello board. Feel free to look it over if you're bored or something.
