Strange Dream (Not really scary)
Posted 10 years agoSo I was dreaming about Thaumaturgy last night, as I tend to do, and I dreamed of this strange... Structure? I don't know... It was carved from obsidian... It was sort of a pyramid where only the outer edges were solid, if you get what I mean. The obsidian had golden runes inlaid that I was not familiar with, but they seemed to be a part of ancient Thaumaturgy long past. There was a point where I could look inside a lens facing the inside of the structure, and I saw a field of stars not of this world. Then, the stars rearranged into a human face, which stared at me. I pulled away from the lens and looked around, and now the structure had moved into my house of its own accord, into a basement room that was somehow perfectly sized for it. Then I noticed a different part of the structure, it seemed capable of accepting essentia through tubes, for what purpose? I was about to discover it.
I piped in a total of 16 Cognitio, 12 Herba, 6 Pannus, 8 Tenebris, and 18 Alienis, and the essentia hovered in droplets in the center, before mingling together and coalescing into a very strange book. I am not sure what it is, but it bears a striking resemblance to my own Thaumonomicon, the book I write all discoveries in. This new, Eldernomicon, as I called it, seemed to be filled with all the research I had already done, but looking through a few I noticed some differences...
I wonder what secrets it holds.
I piped in a total of 16 Cognitio, 12 Herba, 6 Pannus, 8 Tenebris, and 18 Alienis, and the essentia hovered in droplets in the center, before mingling together and coalescing into a very strange book. A Nightmare (Warning: gross imagery)
Posted 10 years agoWhen I'm not busy being Reginald or writing about my characters, more often than not I'm dreaming.
Last night I had a very nasty nightmare.
It was an experiment to see what the effects of different kinds of radiation were on human internal organs. So the scientists took three humans who were on the verge of dying from old age (At least somewhat thoughtful, but it ends there) and exposed their brains, upper torso, and lower torso to three different kinds of radiation (one type per group of organs) to see what it would do to them.
And to determine the effects... They ate the exposed organs. Not even kidding you. But it gets worse.
One of the patients' whole torso became horribly disfigured with cancerous tumors, his ribs dissolved until they were 'crispy', and his heart was hanging out of his chest, still beating. And his intestines were just one massive lump of gristle, which the scientists still tasted.
And the patient was still alive. He saw it all happen before his eyes. He watched the scientists consume his insides even after they had been malformed beyond recognition. And they thought he was delicious.
Makes you wonder if those were three Reginalds, eh? I mean, it's crazy enough.
And actually... The intestines did look like some kind of food Reginald discovered by exposing traditional meat to eldritch energy... Reginald calls it "A hunk of something"...

Tired ramble
Posted 10 years agoSo I wake up, get out of bed, get dressed. Normal. I go downstairs and start working before getting breakfast. Normal. I finish my work in half an hour. Also normal. I run upstairs and slip, crashing against the (Luckily carpeted) stairs, bruising most of both of my legs. Not normal. So I lie down in bed again and my cat decides to use me as a bed. I find this interesting so I make a journal about it saying, "So I wake up, get out of bed, get dressed. Normal. I go downstairs and start working before getting breakfast. Normal. I have learned the following:
-Rosalina is the child of Peach and Luigi
-Mario is a psychopath
-Toads are a parasitic mutation of Cordyceps started by Peach, who evicted the Goombas from the Mushroom Kingdom
-Sonic can only run a maximum of 80 m/s
-Pokemon relies on the Many-Worlds Theory
And a whole crapload more.
...But hey, those are just theories.

Posted 10 years agoI'm just wondering if you guys would like to see more photos/screenshots in my gallery, like Thaumcraft devices I've built in minecraft, (since Reginald is basically a Thaumaturge) so you can better visualize certain things in RPs and stories.
