Going forward I will be trying to stick to a policy of only working on one commission at a time. I'm not going to go into all the reasoning behind that policy, but the gist of it is that the pressure of multiple commissions had a negative affect on my ability to work on those commissions.

I will be using a form to allow possibility commissioners to express their interest in obtaining a commission in a format that lets me keep track of their commission description, reference images, and contact info. I can then contact them to request clarification or to solidify the request into an actual commission.

==SCHEDULING==

I had a rather bad two months recently, but I'm finally getting back on the ball. I'm halfway through my current commission list, and I expect to be caught up or nearly so a week from now. (List here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6477177/ ) Sometime today or tonight I'll be posting the finished and WIP commissions from that list.

I believe I still have a minor bit of unfinished business with the Latex Hive YCHA afterimages, and will be working to finish those alongside my current commissions. I also have unfinished business with the most recent YCHA won by Sanmer; because it is a collaberative effort with another artist, I am somewhat constrained in that I cannot finish it alone. Still, there is some work left that I can do before I'm entirely deadlocked on it.

I have a multi-slot YCHA image in waiting, and I may post that soon including buyouts for those with less patience for the auction format.

==FUTURE COMMISSIONS==

Rather than opening commissions up all at once, I think I may open them again slowly as I work through the stuff I need to finish. Sort of a "finish two commissions, open up for one new commission" thing until I get through my current queue.

New Commission Price Guideline

First, I'm officially changing my general commission pricing. I've realized I'm spending way more time on comic pages than I was back when I set their price at 60usd per page. I've also gotten a bit faster at other work. So I'm lowering my non-comic prices slightly while increasing my comic prices. New price guideline is as follows, but may vary dependent upon the complexity of the commission:

Per body pricing - 20usd / character. Partial shots (about half of the body shown) are 10usd / character. Expect this to jump when overly complex clothing, character design, or anatomy is involved.

Per comic page pricing - 80 usd for the first page, 70 usd for each page after the first.

Per hour pricing - 15 usd / hour. This option doesn't *require* that I be streaming, but it's probably best to only ask for it during a stream as it allows everyone involved to see that I'm actually working for the full hour.

On the Subject of Payment

I've waffled back and forth on this, but for now I'm going to go with the policy that if you are asking for a commission, you should expect to pay in full via paypal before I begin work on it. Issuing a refund is mostly painfree for me (and completely painfree for you) through paypal, and I believe this is the right way to go for the moment given recent experiences with a few people who disappeared without paying.

Open for New Commissions

As I am nearly through my current commissions, I'm opening for new ones. Rather than set a certain number of slots, I'd like to get commissions adding up to a certain amount of work. This is rather hard to put into a format that allowed other people to tell how full up I am, but I'll attempt to do so anyway using a percentage instead.

Hey, I'm nearing the end of my current commission queue and I figured I should line up a few more so that I can transition straight into them when I finish the current ones. As such, I'm going to be opening a few commission slots on a first-come first-serve basis. If we can't nail down your commission within the next 3-4 days though, I'll need to open the slot again for others as I'll most likely be transitioning to the next batch in a week or less.

My prices, as usual, can generally be guessed by considering one full-body colored and shaded character image to be 25 dollars, and one comic page as 60 dollars. Less finished (sketch, lineart, or solid colors only) work will be slightly cheaper, as well as smaller pieces (bust or head shot). For multiples, just multiply. Pallette swaps and other small changes that result in multiple versions only add a small fee, as do extraneous limbs (wings, extra set of arms) or odd body types (taur, insectoid.)

Feel free to send me a note if you'd like a better idea of what your commission idea will cost.
