I likely wont be around much the next couple days, we like to host for young marines who cannot go home for the holidays so Im going to be really busy today and tomorrow getting ready XD.

Post T-day watch out for, hopefully, a lot of adopts and maybe even a YCH or two. I have actual family coming to visit for Crimmus so I'd really like some extra spending moneys to pad our time together.

Commissions are currently open, if you have been thinking of grabbing one do so -soon- because they will close shortly in prep for my family vacation to avoid rushing work.

I was also thinking of doing some kind of secret santa adopt gift exchange if people are interested. My son has recently got really into minerals and gemstones. I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do over the next few weeks.
Leaning towards taking a break and just working on personal art, a few >way> over done things I owe and just working on improving my skills over all.
I've been a smidge frustrated with my current skill level, I feel stagnant and I know I can achieve better but its been difficult to find the time. lol.

But then I always seem more motivated to do work for other people XD.

Ok.. I will try to release a teaser later today, but after much debating, procrastinating, art block, and staring at empty files for hours at a time..

I think what I am going to do is release one large to very large auction on the 30th full of creatures, monsters and creepy shiz. All somewhat sketchy in style so we can keep initial costs low, but offer an AB for finished pieces if people want.

I will release everything on the same day in a temporary folder for the occasion, auctions will run through the holiday weekend and hopefully make a fun event out of this. I will even try to include some anthro pieces :D

I consider Setti a God so his scale would be massive in comparison, the over all feel with be something like.. a quest or random encounter.

Finished lines you may; Quality check for errors, change expression, make SMALL changes or additions. No larger alterations will be permitted atthis stage.

Colored check will be sent with a large watermark to protect my work before its been completed.

You may alter my designs as long as they are not a part of a closed species. Once purchased art is yours to mess with as you desire to any extent you desire. I only ask that I receive some credit for the original design and work.

Im going to close commissions for awhile, finish up the couple I have and just do adopts and whatnot till things clear up. Just cause I hate delaying owed work for personal reasons <3

I am a sucker for helping out other artists, especially lately. I have been tossing my own art money right and left because I enjoy giving. I'm totally not saying this to toot my own horn, like its not at all a selfless act. lol

That same mentality generally has me pretty thrilled for artists who do well. They don't struggle for watchers, their sales are pretty quick and even sometimes demand way higher price tags than I can afford to pay for a digital file thats just going to sit in a folder.
I envy them sure, I've love to be able to drop a $100 adopt fee on something and have it sell XD.

but here is my potentially unpopular opinion moment..
I do not like, when it seems like those same artists are just relying ON their reputation, their name, to sell things for more.
Not for more than theyre worth, mind you. Worth is entirely subjective.
but.. when you ask $200 for a one-of piece thats lined out, shaded, not chibi'd or simplified, and then turn around and ask THE SAME price for a very simplified part of a batch with maybe some few small modifications to make it different, or even no differences other than paint job?.
I find myself a little conflicted with being thrilled that you can make a living off what you love, but at the same time I feel like youre snubbing your own watchers and the people who got you to this level of popularity when you couldn't ask those prices.

I'm sure some of it is jealousy.. but to my watchers if I ever get to that point. notable enough, skilled enough that I can demand $100+ for a single piece of work. Make sure I don't forget to offer a few things here and there for less. Make sure I dont rely on my popularity to carry me through moments of lazyness just to make a little extra.

Often I will quietly donate a good portion of my art proceeds to other artists asking for help, friends, causes ect. Nothing special and Im sure nothing more than most of us do, we all understand what its like to need and how easy it is when you have a little extra.

I post this because I know a lot of people have been looking for opportunities to help out with Puerto Rico and their current struggles, but it is -extremely- difficult to know your money is actually going to help. Theres been a ton of GoFundMes set up by by random people who seemingly have no connection and no real plan on how to even use the funds they are getting, I applaud the effort, but for me personally Im not willing to donate to a stranger.

That said. I know most of you do not know me so I do recognize the irony XD.

HOWEVER.. I will not ask for free moneys, until Oct 9th I will be offering $5 bust sketches with all proceeds going directly to a personal friend who has already invested a substantial amount of her own money to fly herself and supplies personally into Puerto Rico, particularly her home town of Naguabo.

I dunno how many people read these, but for those who are interested, heres the current haps and pending things!

Little ill this morning, but not too bad, just enough to slow down the progress on the full plate of pending pieces I have waiting for people. Im super excited to crank out these halloween adopts and get another batch going once they and another large commission are finished. Im hoping to have all done before the month is out so I can focus solely on spooky stuff for all of October >:]


Just cleaned about -40- gigs of surplus older art from my files, I think Im going to go buy an external HD to start storing that stuff one. Call me a hoarder, but I hate deleting even the PSD <while saving the pngs>, but they take up so much room after awhile. *sigh*. Art still takes up the bulk of my HD space, aside from WOW which I redownloaded to play with friends a little. I doubt I will stay long though it never seems to hold my interest anymore.

I've recently decided I need to collect art from a few select artists who's style and creature creation I -adore-
So if you have things from Mythca, snailed-it, quillcoil, oukimayoukai45, Torn Tethers, or artists with similar styles that you no longer desire or would prefer to swap for something, please feel free to Pm me or something.

Also I've been on the look out for more humanoid type female demons with -very- nice art. I am super picky on this, but I need somemore girls in my collection. so pretty demons, witches types with better than average art is totally worth pointing me in the direction of! :D

I have a pen, but it likes to come a part.. A new one is presumably in process to be on its way so until then work my be a smidge slower than usual. I can art, its just irritating to push everything back into place every 30 seconds or so -.-

I need to pick a brain. the effects I want are pretty simple. but I am absolutely ignorant to how to overlay existing animatons and could use some halp.

I could use videos, pinterests, tutorials ect, for semi realistic scenery work. Primarily trees and forests I seem to be having the most issue with getting the texture down to my satisfaction.

I need a good blend of crisp, semi realism and "quick". NeonDragon would be a good example of the flavor Im looking for.

Keeping this as short,sweet and none awkward inspiring as possible..

I am rather plagued with self doubt concerning my art work. I realize this is not at all rare when if comes to any form of art, its a persistent plague among those who create from the soul no matter what their skill level.

I keep mine very tempered personally and openly, The evidence of it is often very subtle in my mannerisms <at least I hope so>

That said, the reason I bring this up is not to ask people to be gentle with me, but rather to invite criticism.

I thrive on feed back, even if its something you may think I dont want to hear. As long as its always constructive, politely put, ect.

I mean things a long the lines of technique, brushes, line errors, proportions, shading errors, ect. Whether its a piece for myself, a commission.. really anything, but original adopts unless you'd like to PM me with critiques on those.
If you notice areas I can improve on, things like this.

Nine times out of Ten when I submit a commission I'm convinced they will hate it XD. 9.9 times out of 10 Everyone says they love it and yet I still think they mostly being polite XD.
Again I know this is probably VERY common, I submit this invitation mostly for my own therapy and as an open invitation if you have some honest, well meaning thoughts you would like to express whenever receiving or viewing my work.

My only requests are that you keep in mind the difference between style preferences/quality, and reasonable expectations considering my skill level.

Hey look, its personal opinion time!!



This absolutely is prompted by something going on a personal level, but I see it a lot. It tends to be a human trait, but in the fur/art community it tends to be -rampant-.

Bewares are exceedingly useful and vital when dealing with digital art, fursuiting ect. We NEED these with the over abundance of people willing to scam or simply flake out on a deal.
But when you have people creating bewares because of a personal issue that has nothing at all to do with their business, their art, their quality of character.

Most of these stories are one sided, you get the account of the person you follow without much feed back. They will even include a few details of self culpability sometimes. They "should have" done this or not done that. They were going to pay for something, but then the person became "aggressive" or blocked them.
It sounds convincing because you've chatted with this person, been on friendly terms with them.

I am asking you to remain objective. Remember always there are two sides to a story. Unless there is a blatant scam occurring or blatant physical/ mental abuse with posted proof... Dont run over to their page to harass them, dont discount them as a person because this other person that you follow, and lets admit it, dont actually know, said they were awful and you should.

Stop and ask yourself a few questions before you pass judgment if you can
-Does this have anything to do with how they do business?
-Does this have anything to -really- do with their quality of character, or could it just be an isolated situation with mutual bad feelings?
-Does everything add up? Does it seem like the targeted person is just acting out for no reason.. maybe theres things missing from the story
-Does the person posting the beware use language like "I was going to pay" " I was going to recompense" I was going to make it right, but........" IMO there is no excuse at all for not making it right.
-Do you have ANY posted proof, rebuttal, testimony from the other side? ANYTHING other than the testimony of the person posting a beware. Every FB site for bewares requires proof and asks for the other side of the story. How many times have you seen a posted beware that really sounded like it was deserved, only to see the other side of the story open up other details or explain situations that changed how you view the situation?

People are going to disagree. We're going to have spats and miscommunication. Especially when it comes to how much most of us communicate in text. People who are normally fantastic are very capable of having a bad day or taking something out of context.
Others are completely capable of twisting a situation to play upon sympathies to absolve themselves of guilt or culpability while laying all the blame upon another.

Sorry for the long read, I dont rant often for this reason XD.

We're all smart, well thought out people. Its easy to get caught up in the passions of someone else when we feel they might have been wronged. I catch myself doing it sometimes too, this is as much a reminder for me as I would have it be for all of you.
