I've hopped on Twitch and picarto a bit, but Ive been reluctant to attend either for awhile now due to a low watcher count.

So, do you watch streams? Is it easier if people schedule streams so you know when to attend? Are there peak times that are easier for you to view and even participate?

As posted earlier I've started up a Pinterest/Tumbler. I also have a FB that I never ever use because of time constraints.

Looking for a professional minded person who would be interested in helping me keep up with these and really get them going.

I'll need you to be somewhat experienced with current social media, and either knowledgeable or willing to do the research to learn how to promote images/pages to get attention.

Your job will be mostly to promote and keep things active within a few, easy guidelines <i.e no pinning or commenting on certain subject matters, stuff like that>

Payment for a little while will mostly be in art, we can discuss your schedule and how much time you're willing to put into things and apply that to artist value. If things pick up and sales pick up as a result, monetary compensation will be included.

I am going to be very business oriented with this project, so you will be expected to keep up with tasks as theyre agreed on. Please do not note me if you do not feel this is not something you feel you can keep up with. Please feel free to note me if you're interested and would like to discuss particulars. I am extremely amenable to working out a system that fully benefits both parties.

Been hitting this off and on as time allows. Mostly trying to mediate how much work Im putting into it so I can keep the cost low.
I think I've come up with a decent plan. I'll include a good measure of initial work, like 90 or so actual clothing pieces and some extras to round it up.

Then do expansion packs for a small fee to break everything up AND give people something to play with while I work on the extras.
right now the plan is to initially include

15 fantasy tops, 15 fantasy bottoms.
15 modern tops, 15 modern bottoms.

And like.. ten or so extras, mostly jewelry pieces, belts, maybe some weapons.
That gives a pretty wide room for a ton of unique layering potential, since you're not at all limited to only two pieces. Ive designed them to encourage layering multiple tops or bottoms. You will just have to erase some lines so everything lays neatly.

For expansion packs I already have planned

Headwear <hats, crowns, headdresses ect>
shoes/boots
additional accessories
cloaks/coats/furs
light armor. both modern and fantasy

Maybe some futuristic themeed stuff. We'll see how well sales do.


I did have one question with the update though.
While Im working on modern clothing, with tops, do you guys want patterns on some of them? Like maybe a plain tanktop and then one or two of the same model with a pattern or image on it?

What other sites do you utilize to make some moneys?

With adopt sales relatively slow at the moment, I could really use a few extra options for gathering just a little scratch. I'm thinking of hopping onto threadless and perhaps a few other options, but wanted to see if anyone else had some opinions.
I don't think I'm good enough to do websites/logo's on a professional level, but I'd like to think I can do ok on less strict mediums.

Gender assignments will begin as of now. For those who have the basekit Im going to add a file with gender tabs, please feel free to poke me so I can send you the link for the download <no extra charge>
You are not required to assign a gender, but there must be an obvious label somehwere if kitling owners wish to breed their pets to produce offspring.

Genders, for now, will be Male/Female/Herm. This only entails the physical bits, you may choose your kitlings actual preference or lack there of.



How breeding will work.
Only myself and those who have purchased the base pack may host breeding events. Those with the base pack may host how they choose with whatever rewards and incentives they choose as long as they dont break a few rules I will be listing below.
This includes hosting entirely free events just for the fun of the participation.

My events will only be hosted with celestial Studs. These will be magically gifted kitlings with a few extras and some new defining features to be explained soon.
Breeding to these studs will produce half breed offspring. I wont offer these terribly often to keep them relatively rare and fun collectors pieces. They will also come with an all new base.

Rules:
Breedings must be sex appropriate to produce offspring. males to females, or either to herms. Herms may sire or produce.

No more than two kitlings per breeding <Id love a dice roll to determine, but I wont hold others to that>

You may NOT host a breeding if you do not own the base kit. By this I mean, you may not breed and then create your own offspring to keep or sell without the purchase of a base kit. If you want to breed them in RP and have little rp babies that is certainly fine. BUt you may not produce art for them.

Certified breeders <those who own the base kit> May use either the kit, or their own art for the offspring as long as they stay within the species over all design, and must always credit myself as the species creator.

No one else may create celestial Kitlings or make drastic changes to the over all design of the species through breeding. If you have an idea, please feel free to run it by me, but don't be upset if I decide against it.

Would you guys be interested in a clothing base kit?

I was thinking a static "undefined" pose, so basically just a sillouette so theres no need to worry about species conflicts and whatnot
probably do a male and female base and then files with tops/bottoms, jewelry and misc <headwear, capes, ect>

It would take a ton of work on my end so I'm kina interested in getting feedback before I start.

I think only a couple of you guys actually read these things, but hopefully everyone else doesnt consider them annoying :D.

Now that the holidays are over I'm going to try and work a bit to get this place busy. Get out at least ten pieces a week, whether they be adopts, sketches, bases. whatevs. I've noticed I really need to work more on doing human faces, I had some nice line art I scrapped this week cause her face kept looking so derp I just couldnt.. -.-

I did manage to put out the Kitling base however, which I adore. Hopefully a few people can pick that up and make a little profit on it, or at least make their own kitling army.
Just as a suggestion, when drawing your own OCs, it would be totally cute to add your Kitlings in their with them. I'll make sure to work on their sketch sheet this week, I have a big project Im almost finished with and a commission to get to before I have some free time.


Before the month is out I'm going to come up with a contest or something to give active watchers a chance at some kina prize so watch for that.

I had to do some soul searching after doing commissions recently. Oddly I find commission work very draining for me, I think most of its because I put a LOT of effort into trying to make things as precise as possible and I feel more pressure because of it.

As a result, commissions wont be offered very often. Most likely they will be incentives through raffles that will be offered only to paying customers. ect.
At least until I get more comfertable with how I preform when my muse is not into what I am doing.


Now, that said. I will be offering two slots at a time for the PSD File commissions. I'm doing this because it only requires one base and the rest is accessories which is a little less taxing.
This is a really good opportunity for people to get a lot of miles out of a single commission.

It works much like a blank base kit with openable files were you can toggle through clothing and accessories for different looks to suit a particular mood or RP ect.

The price might seem a little steep at $150, but theyre well worth it IMO, for the amount of versatility involved.
They can be done as a solo pose or a "ref sheet" style spread with one nude pose, one model for the clothing ect and a back view nude.
You get separate files for tops, bottoms, accessories and hair so there is a huge amount of room for mixing and matching.


Now for the free part.
For every five PSD files I sell, I will raffle off a slightly smaller version for free.
HOWEVER, you must be a paying watcher to participate. It does not have to be a large purchase, it does not have to be a recent purchase. But you must have purchased from me, or donated for the chance to win.

I apologize to anyone who takes offense to this. I don't do so to punish or discriminate, I only make this a requirement because I have personally witnessed people who actively patrol for free art. While I dont particularly care about that act, I do feel like it is unfair to my active supporters to dilute their chances of winning.

Just wanted to drop a quick update,

This weather lately is absolutely kicking my booty. I have a rough time when theres a lot of fluctuations in the barometric pressure and stuff and we've been having storms back to back.

I owe two people work and I apologize that its taking me a little time to get to it, I just dont want to ever half ass anything in order for a quicker turn around.

So Awhile back I did a couple YCH for some stripper poses that didnt seem to generate any interest.
It seems a shame to just let them go to waste, the poses were cute and they would make really cute pieces.

I think what I may end up doing with them is create some lined bases with a small PTU fee and people can color their own OCs onto them, or use them for their own YCH. <yes I will allow them to be used for profit.>


The only limitations on this is, of course, species.

So I want people to vote for species. There are three poses, Im going to do one female, one male and one herm.
Vote below which species you'd most like to see and attached t which gender if you have a preference.

If at least 50 people participate by Jan 1st, I will raffle off one of each base when theyre completed to those who voted.

Trying to figure out an easy, cheap, fun thing to do for my active watchers with a holiday theme.
I did a couple rough drafts for some very simplistic "luck" of "fortune" companions. MOstly puff balls with expressions, but I thought they felt a bit try hard and wouldnt come across well.


I'd love for someone to help me come up with an idea I could charge $1 to $2 max for. Super simple, cute, fun.. and every purchase I would enter into a grand prize drawing for something extra. Maybe have a couple prizes so I can do a big holiday thing.

I adore christmas, I'd really like to do a few things to have fun for it.

I'm going to finish out this months Patreon and then shut it down for awhile.

Whether bad timing on my part <seasonal>, my skill not being up to par yet, or any number of reasons, I've found the effort is not really worth the reward at the moment.

I'm spending a lot of time and creating a lot of work for myself for something thats not really taking off just now.

I will find a way to implement some of the aspects into my FA and DA accounts, because I think they were good ideas and are beneficial to everyone, andperhaps when I have grown more as an artist I will re-vamp my rewards process and start over.

Like.. I wont post more than once a day, sometimes I feel kina bad posting the same image every couple days or every day if its an auction thats about to expire.
Do watchers get irritated and unfollow people over bump posts?
How much does it actually help to multi post an adopt a few times a dat vs a few times a week?
