I hate it. I don't know why but I should be happy, I thought I would be happy but I sure as hell am not.

I don't know and I can't really pinpoint my finger on it but I just hate it and I want to leave. It feels wrong, it doesn't feel right at all even though I thought this was what I wanted to do in my life.

I'm unfulfilled. Its been months and I'm still not happy. I feel worse even.

It could be me. It could be something else. I have tried being positive and being strong but today, right now, I am hurting so badly. And so unhappy. And tired. All I want is for it to be over.

I cant even art properly as the negaticity just drains me dry. And this really hurts, because art is what really sets me free.

It's why I have been inactive of late. Why I haven't drawn or replied to comments or notes or commented....and for that I'm really sorry guys...

Maybe it's me. I don't know. All I know is that my heart is broken, I'm hurt and I want it to end.

Sorry for this really down journal guys.

So....as some of you may/may not have read my previous journal, one of my major rants, other than work being AAGGAFFDDDD$$$#@@!! it was because of my payment method, Payoneer.

I am aware that some people aren't comfortable using Payoneer, so I have been working hard to look for alternative ways of paying. Payoneer works fine really, but it's just a bit slow (only on my receiving money side, paying me works fine). As I can't use PayPal to receive money in my country (insert raving screeching fox growls here) I had to be a bit more creative.

Soooo....I set up shop!

I found an online marketplace like Etsy recently but it is made for local entrepreneurs in my country (Brunei). It handles payment through the well established bank I use here, so not only will payments be done through a real bank, anything happens all I have to do is give'em a call (instead of having to call Payoneer in the US which costs me big $$$$)!

So without further ado, I present you THE JADE PEACH GROVE , my (teeny) online shop!

[For commissioned work, I will provide a private listing just like Etsy does whenever a custom order is made. Once the private listing is made, I will send this link to you by email or note.

You can pay for that private listed item (the commission) using any Visa/Mastercard Debit or Card, just as you would in Etsy or Ebay :) Done!

I don't know how many people will really read this, but for all those who have and are interested in commissioning me sometime, The Jade Peach Grove is an alternative (and easier) method of payment than Payoneer, even though I will still use Payoneer from time to time :D

I'm sorry for the slight downtime lately-- I haven't been commenting, uploading or updating as much as I ideally would have liked.

In all honesty it really got me down; coming here to check out art and interact with people who share my love for anthro art and the ideas that follow it, its one of the ways I wind down from world and life's crap and irks.

But work has not been the best lately. I barely have time/energy/interest to even draw by the time I get back from it and that really upsets me. When I tried to open up commissions again (because really, I enjoy doing commissions) but my usual payment system, Payoneer is being incredibly annoying. While it works, and I do get paid (eventually) it is just [i] so. damned. slow [i/].

I hate making my commissioners wait unnecessarily just because a payment system isn't doing its bloody job right.

I'm looking for a new payment system now; I envy those who can use PayPal so much. But my country can only send money, it can't receive any. So yeah. Fuck the system.

Not being able to commission properly/draw really wrecked my whole week and work isn't actually the best either right now. Being disappointed and frustrated on these two fronts? Urgh, its just mad.

Urgh.

I'm sorry for the real bitterness in this journal and I'd appreciate no mean comments/repercussions or whathaveyou. I don't usually want to show my more negative feelings, but right now, I'm just so frustrated and I needed to vent so much. Nobody in my family or friends outside here really understands how much art--furry art especially-- means to me, they won't understand why I'm so worked up over drawings of animal people...

Sniffles aren't yet gone and my ears are blocked, but I'm back in the office. I'm taking it easy, and I'm feeling better. Atleast I can actually taste food now -.-

That being said, I'm opening up for some traditionally inked, full digital color headshot commissions later!

Just to give a heads up, it'll only be 5 slots (I'm still busy at work but I really wanna start commissioning again) and the price range is USD $20 to $50 dollars, depending on the complexity of the character.

So watch out for the journal later, in case ya'll are interested ^^

...so the lack of activity is because of an annoying flu I caught. I feel like absolute crud and my throat is sore. Work is stable....but I had have a few rough days and, well, here's hoping it all clears out soon ><

It's all I can really manage at the moment with all that is happening at work and home, but it'll be fun because I can play with expressions and really colourful characters! I've had my own struggles with art before I joined FA; I'm really I glad that I did join, cos mixing in with the community, drawing, talking about OCS, doing trades/commissions and just having a place where I can speak furry and not be a boring responsible adultzz is...ahh, it just makes me really happy!

Not to mention all those peeps who took the time to talk/note me, comment on my stuff and characters (who I love talking about, cos they're my babies hahaha), even signal boost me (!) at times-- really, you guys have made my day many times over

It's because of you guys I feel encouraged and motivated to keep drawing, to keep improving. I don't ever wanna give up art because it completes me so. And being part of the community adds spark to that passion.

Heii peeps!!

Hope everyone's doing allright. My job is going well in spite of my superior being away and that I am only uhh, partially trained to handle the work at full capacity. But I had to anyway....had clients coming in nonstop at one point, but thank Goodness I had some prior experience about this line of work so.....I made it out alive. My brain felt like it was put through a grinder, but....ahh well.

It has left me with little time for art, but unfortunately it has come up to a point where I realized....I might need a bit more cash than I previously thought, even with my paycheck incoming.... >><<;;

So I am opening up some YCH commissions!

I have one YCH picture featuring my character Haven with a lady character who will be the YCH sketched up. It will be fully coloured and shaded! It will not be a romantic piece per say, but it is meant to be sweet and cute eitherway! <3

Only thing is I might be slow. Not like....more than 5 months to a year slow, but slower than my usual output. Regardless I will always give updates if something comes up, and WIPs are posted on my Twitter.

So.....interested? Gimme your thoughts, I would love all your input :)

If there is enough interest, I might make more....one with Reika this time. Cos I love interacting my OCs with other peoples' characters!

So....work has been going great actually. Aside from the tough drive to the city centre (I have some road anxiety from an accident not too long ago) everything from my work scope to daily duties are things I can do and manage!

It's still a lot to learn, and in a short space of time. But I believe things will settle down eventually, and work becomes routine... so that I can finally have energy to concentrate on art-- both personal and commissions. Cos. Really. I wanna do arts but my brain gets so tired. Urgh.

Oh but wait--wasn't this a wishlist journal? :'D

Now before anyone calls me out and thinks this is a DRAWFORMENOWNOWIWANTHISDRAWNB*YCH....no. Nope. Nawh. 💜 Reika in her favourite lingerie-- anything with lace, silk ribbons and thigh-high stockings. Her favourite colors for these being pink, salmon pink, white/cream or plum.
💜 Bikini Reika-- she loves all those vibrant tropical types that wouldn't be out of place in a Quicksilver or Roxy shop.
💜 Reika with any of her signature flowers/fruits-- roses, amarylis lily, lilies in general, hydrangea, lilac, apple blossom, apples, peaches or grapes.

🌸 Haven in Soldier 76 armour and visor because.....man, he's hot.
🌸 Haven practising swordplay-- his favoured weapons are the katana and the longsword.

AND. I had to start immediately. Like. The. Next. Day (which was today) Im not complaining but boy like the interview it was intense and had a sharp learning curve. They also told me to go for a presentation this Saturday morning, and probably more things of this nature will pop up...

So, I will be very busy these coming weeks. As such, unfortunately, I have to close commissions for now. I will reopen them once things settle down. Even then, maybe I will start simply with some YCH type commissions, which I really wanted to try out.

As of now, I have a trade piece as well as a big commissioned piece for  riptorstormwolf in the works, so I won't be completely art-less. There is no way I'm letting the job hinder me from arting around, though I might just be posting doodles or things less refined from time to time. I'll still be around to comment, fav and reply tho :)

So, as of recently I got a call for a job position that I've quite coveted, but the position is only open for one person and the competition was....pretty tight. Just had the interview this morning and it came off...pretty intense for me. Good intense, I guess, because there was a lot of discussion and feedback to and fro. But still...intense.

I've been trying to draw and catch up on some art stuff but this...well, I guess it held be back a little. ACK. I do not like being held back, but I also know forcing things will prove pointless.

So....I need a distraction...something fun! So I thought, maybe a little random "Ask my OCs" questions would be nice. I do love sharing my character backgrounds and ideas, and am happy to answer any questions people might have of them :D

No creepy/overly-sexualized/rude comments and questions tho. Cos. Like. No. I won't answer those >><<;

So far Reika and Haven are my main OCs that you see, but I have a few more that I haven't drawn yet. I have them, so you can ask me about those as well ^^

Not what I expected, being the first time it happened to me.

Greetings everyone!

Just making a few changes to my TOS, see below (on subjects I will/won't draw) and a note on my payment method: I'm aware some of you might be a little wary of Payoneer, and it's fully understandable...as we are talking about our hard-earned money!

So here are some notes on Payoneer that I would like to clarify:

* You don't need a Payoneer account, or a PayPal account for that matter, in order to send me payment.

* To pay me, you only need either a Credit/Debit card or (for US citizens) the option to send an eCheck.

* I receive payment by sending a Payment Request to you by email, and the email will give you options on whether to pay by Credit/Debit card or eCheck.

* To send a Payment Request, I do need your name (a first name will do/i.e not necessarily a surname), country of origin, and for US citizens- the state you live in. Payoneer is a little strict as it is used by companies to give payment, so all the details needed are strictly for security purposes.

That's the process! :)

...now on a more fun note, OCs! I have a new OC named Silver in the works (she is a partial were-wolfess) and a deamon cheetah hybrid named Mahala.

Silver is a long maned black/silver/grey/pearl partial were with a quiet demeanor but violent tendencies when cornered. Mahala is an aloof deamoness with a penchant for intoxicating, multicolored smoke. Will get these babs down on paper one day. Just sharing for now ^^;

First off, I'm really happy to say that my first experience with commissioning came at a lovely start! Payoneer works beautifully and I'm super glad to have made my first commissioner happy about his piece (thanks lots, riptorstormwolf for commissioning me...!).

This really encourages me to keep honing my art skills...while I admit I'm still a little nervous, my resolve is pretty much sealed.

As such, Floral Portrait Commissions are open! . I enjoy drawing flowers and characters just festooned with them so I'm offering them up if anyone is interested.

Got my payment issues resolved, finally after all this while! *dances*

Some might not know...but I made a journal not too long ago about Paypal being fully unsupported in my country. After much research, I FINALLY found a payment platform that not only works but is fully supported.

I now receive payments through Payoneer, a payment platform similar to Paypal. I can send out request payments just like in Paypal, the only difference is I can only receive payment through Credit/Debit Card or eChecks.

Heck, it's better than what I ever hoped for. It made me so angry when Paypal didn't support where I lived, but now I'm over that. I just hope a different payment platform won't discourage anyone from wanting to commission me, as I have always wanted to do commissions for peeps..

As the artist, I reserve the right to the copyrights of the image made (even if the concept/design/character is yours) and thus so I may use them in my website(s) as example/promotional art etc and post them where I chose. Also, though they are commissioned works, I do not give commercial rights for now thus please refrain from using them to gain profit (via printing/selling of prints etc). I also reserve the right to refuse certain themes or subjects I am not comfortable with, or to refuse a commission with/without reason.

PAYMENT METHODS

My payment method is via PAYONEER, an established Paypal-like payment platform that is fully certified and tightly secured. This is so because unfortunately Paypal isn't fully supported in my country.

NOTE: To pay me, you don't need a Payoneer account or a PayPal account either for that matter. You merely need a credit/debit card or the option to use an eCheck. That really is all there is to it :)

To pay, the steps are simple:


1. I will send you a PAYMENT REQUEST via Payoneer, which will be sent to your email.

2. Once you open that email, you will be guided through on how to pay. Some ways are:
* You can pay me via Credit/Debit card.
* For US citizens, you may pay me via eCheck. An option will be presented to you there.
*** I will pay for the fees, and will never oblige anyone.

3. Press "SEND/SUBMIT PAYMENT" and you're done!


I will accept full payment once we agree on a price, then I will proceed to work on your commission.

In all my pieces, I will require a little artistic freedom, and thus can't really operate on a super strict, drop-dead pin point precision because that will hinder my process. Still, I will always respect the most important aspects of a character, as I know how much they can mean <3

I appreciate not being rushed, though I will do my uttermost best to present it to you in a timely manner. You may note me anytime asking for the status of your piece.

PLEASE NOTE!:

I don't accept refunds. so please keep this in mind before commissioning me.
Fixes and edits the first three times are free, but additional fixes or particularly heavy changes might incur an extra charge.

All commissions will be given in digital JPEG or PNG format once completed, which will be sent to your email. You will receive 1) a High Res version with my signature only, and 2) a Lower-Res submission size with watermark and signature, should you wish.

* Fantasy and nature themes
* Most anthros-- Reptilian, Birds, Fishes, Draconian etc (please note me if unsure!)
* SFW Pin-ups (costumes like lingerie/bikinis etc are fun) for both male/female.
* "Cartoon" nudity, but lower "happy" parts will not show.
* A little bit of man-made structures-- like a bedroom/balcony/street etc. * Partial cybernetic/cyborg parts are okay too.
* Femboi/Trans are okay, tho I am a shy fox and I don't feel very comfortable about drawing "bulge" bits ^^; Effeminate, bishounen type males are fine too.


THINGS I WON'T DRAW:

* NSFW Pieces (Not comfortable with those)
* Couples - Sorry, truly. Just that I SUCK at romance and romantic poses altogether *weeps*
* Fetish Artwork (Vore, inflation, diaper, scat etc)
* Extreme violence and mutilation, but some blood and wounds are okay.
* Heavy machinery/mechs. I suck at these. Have mercy.

Well, I just got my Paypal account set up and was getting all my commission info, prices and opening slots until.....

....my country might not allow my Paypal account to receive cash.

AUGHH.

Called up my bank, they said that they will be able to receive funds however through Paypal. This confuses me because everyone else who tried using Paypal in my country (I live in South East Asia) said that they couldn't.

So.....knowing that I needed to test this out for myself....here's what I thought of...

I'm opening only ONE (for now) test commission slot for a Lineart-Only, Head to Shoulder piece. A sample can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19536917/

I will only charge this USD $5 (because as a test, I really don't wanna overcharge/burden anyone).

If the payment goes through, I will give you the full lineart piece PLUS FLAT COLOURS, as a thanks for helping me test out my Paypal account.

But even if the payment doesn't go through, I will STILL give you a the Lineart Head/Shoulder piece (but no flat colours), again as a deep thanks for helping me out anyway!

If I can receive payment then I will proceed to open commissions in the near future :)

Greetings peeps!

First off I really wanna thank all of you whom have added me to your watchlists and gave me such lovely, encouraging comments! I'm new to FA, but have been lurking for a while before I decided to join, so your comments, favs and watches all made me feel very welcome indeed, and I am grateful and appreciate it very much :))

I am planning to open up for commissions soon, simple headshots or busts (line art and flats) first, then moving on to more shaded/detailed character work. I'm excited to start, just need to make some necessary adjustments first.

And lastly......how do you make all those nice journal/profile page decorations....?? You know, the coloured text, the decorative lines, adjusting text positions, icons, gradient text colours etc....
Plus- I mostly work on my mobile phone, cos my laptop is ancient and it spaces out on me often so I'm not sure if the codes are different or not...

I know it has to do something with HTML but the codes I used...er...don't work ;_;
