A final goodbye to a family member
Posted 13 years agoWell today I lost someone very important to me. I'm not sure if it's right that I share this information online but I figure I should at least tell the world a little about her...I think she deserves that much. She was a family member of the four legged variety, yes a pet...my dog to be percise. Her name was Sky and she was the most affectionate, loving and patient dog. I never had to train her for she was natuarlly well behaved she never snapped at anyone, never barked at people and was always willing to make a friend even with total strangers be they animal or person..even cats! she'd bark at them at first but one cat called her bluff and approached her only to be given a lick on the head as it approached forever proving she had not one violent bone in her body and was simply to friendly and tolerant to even be a threat to a kitten. She passed on today after living a long life of nine and a half years. She had many good years left in her and so much affection to give but i'm glad she isn't suffering anymore because of her cancer that was invading into her lungs and stomach. Sorry if this seems like i'm ranting but I just felt compelled to post this online and I hope Sky is happy with the life she had and gets everything she deserves upstairs.
My Birthday!!

Sonic selling out?
Posted 14 years agoI don't know if anyone else has seen the latest "Progressive" vehicle and home insurance ads on TV but I have just seen something I thought i'd never see in my lifetime! Sonic the hedgehog staring in a insurance commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kolwMUWBdus I don't even know what to think...does this verify that sonic is going down the drain?...or is it simply a random thing that sega figured would be a quick cash in to hopefullly fund a better sonic game?

a motivating speech that really moved me.
Posted 14 years agoNow I don't like to admit that at times as a guy my emotional ''armor'' goes down or heaven forbide something strips it away but what this person wrote really got to me as I suffer from a lack of inspiration and at times I do feel that I don't step into the center stage of life when i'm giving the chance just to avoid being possibly disapointing or even offending others. The weird part to this all was that I found the message when looking up ''stick fights''.
As you improve and get stronger, so will the challenges in front of you get bigger, stronger, but overcoming these bigger challenges is what brings true joy.It is when we grow.
Even if you don't reach your goal exactly. You'll live a life without regrets. I hope you can see this. This was inspired by a famous Poem.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others."

Some random sayings
Posted 15 years agoa few random sayings that caught my attention recently or have just been stuck in my head and refuse to get out so I figure i'll share a few.
-Ignorance is bliss-
-Only the wisest and the stupidest of men never change-
-I like big butts and I Cannot lie-
-Booty! Never has there been a worthier cause-
Well not hard to figure out these sayings...I happen to agree with them a girl with a big healthy backside is a thing of beauty indeed.
Ten points to anyone who can guess where each of the sayings came from.

Something I find helps me think
Posted 15 years agoA set of lyrics taken from a Cartoon Network show called Boondocks. If you haven't seen the show it's not bad and worth at least a look into. But for me I find the lyrics of shows opening theme to be thought provoking when you take the time to stop and read lyrics from a poetic standpoint
I am the stone that builder refused
I am the visual
The inspiration
That made lady sing the blues
I'm the spark that makes your idea bright
The same spark
That lights the dark
So that you can know your left from your right
I am the ballot in your box
The bullet in your gun
The inner glow that lets you know
To call your brother son
The story that just begun
The promise of what's to come
And I'm 'a remain a soldier till the war is won
I am the stone that builder refused
I am the visual
The inspiration
That made lady sing the blues
I'm the spark that makes your idea bright
The same spark
That lights the dark
So that you can know your left from your right
