So, I've got some friends who aren't too comfortable with the term sissy and while it never really bothered me personally I can see why considering how it is used as a demeaning insult. So I changed one of the gallery folders to use a different term. Weirdly enough, now that I consider myself nonbinary does it even technically count as crossdressing as well? I just added 'feminine outfits' as a replacement cuz femme stuff I still find pretty and sexy either way. So yeah, doubt it's even a big deal to most people but I figured my last journal was two months ago so whatever.

All you need to understand is that it exists because people find it hot. If they want to go into detail and explain the hows and whys it's also probably because they find that part hot too. Also a shout out to all my ace friends who don't even find it hot but just really like kink aesthetic. If getting more details will make you find it more hot though, ask away if you can do so without coming across as dismissive of the concept or demonstrating a total unwillingness to suspend your disbelief.

There, all you need to know right there in the title to explain my current emotional state. Not technically my cat, but the one I was closest to before moving out of my parents' house. He always spent the most time in the same space as me when I lived there, and every so often he would jump up on my bed and lick my hair before I fell asleep. He was a total sweetheart even if he was scared of everything.

It took him a month to come out from under the bed when we first got him, and we think his previous owners may have traumatized him. Make any movement too sudden, even if he knew who you were, and he would go slinking away to be out of sight. Most visitors only think that house had one cat because he's so reclusive from people he doesn't know. I only realize now how happy it made me to think of his time living with us as a Happy Ever After following what made him so afraid. Instead biology decided it wanted to take from him even that, no chance to grow old and learn not to be afraid.

I don't know how long he has left, but just thinking about it hurts.

Like, let me just clarify: posting pictures with a darker or more melancholic theme does not mean I'm in a deep depression or anything like that. I guess it's my own fault for having the majority of my pictures take place in Happy Kink Land Where Nothing Bad or Permanent Happens. Just keep in mind that's not me all the time. One of my favorite games ever is Silent Hill 2, and that game in a journey through the pain of loss, guilt, thoughts of suicide and other uncomfortable subject matter.
My interests and tastes can sometimes swing to that side of things, just sayin.

I've never been to one before, and I'm super nervous and anxious and I'm not even used to traveling alone either! It's a few states away, I at least have some friends I will be staying with once I get there. But oh man, I wanna be a cool dude and be up to date on con etiquette and not come off as a total outsider. I don't have a suit, but I at least have a badge in my gallery that I could print out and laminate and wear during my time there. Is it common courtesy to carry around a printed out reference for use in getting commissions while there?

Even when it ends just about as amicably as it possibly can, it throws your priorities and sense of self into a tailspin. So I'm single again. Those of you who know who my SO was, I bear them no ill will and we're still friends, don't go jumping to conclusions or anything. I wish things could have worked out, but keeping things going and pretending something is real when it isn't...that would have been even worse. That's not how you're supposed to base a relationship around, and honestly I couldn't be happier that ours was one of honesty right up until the end.

You know...it's been a while since I've written something. It's not a good feeling to be in such a perpetual slump of no motivation.

What sucks even more though is that I've been neglecting to upload commissions. Like...I want to write at least something to go with them even if it's just a short description to add context but...with lack of writing motivation it doesn't happen.
And that's not fair to artists who deserve more exposure for being super cool peeps to put up with my weirdness.
I need to change all this.
