Shameless Plug for Myself+A friend

mooltwo recently edited an RP we had into a full fledged story, which I helped to proofread before he uploaded it. So if you like my writing, and love this picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13686566/ you'll probably enjoy the story!

When something you commission predicts the future...
Posted 10 years agoI originally found this out here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7011980/ but I'll explain it in the abridged version here:
July 1st the picture that I commissioned for a friend was posted:

Posted 10 years agoNeed reminding that IMVU now owns FA?
You don't?
Well TOO BAD
ALWAYS AN AD FOR IT AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN
AND IF THAT WEREN'T ENOUGH AN AD ON THE SIDEBAR OF EVERY SUBMISSION
I honestly didn't mind until now.

What fantasy is running through your head right now?
Posted 10 years agoI'm curious. You don't have to go into too much detail. Just tell me what you want to have happen to you, and if you want add other things like why you'd want it to happen. It can be something with your real self or 'sona, doesn't matter.
What I'd really like right now is to be hypnotized by a female. It wouldn't be full mind control, she'd need to guide me along into things and break down my resistance. She'd start by just encouraging me to dress in more femboi styled outfits and then keep me in them until I've grown comfortable, and then she'd push me further than that into outright crossdressing. It'd be amazing to both be gradually pushed into something I like but don't want to admit, and getting teased and played with all the way through as the things she does get gradually more and more humiliating (you can probably guess from my gallery what it'd eventually lead to).
So then, what's your fantasy?

A message to recent Skype/Steam Contact/Friend Requesters
Posted 11 years agoI just want to let you know that I appreciate that you want to chat with me and stuff. But as picky as this sounds, I'd really prefer to at least get to know you a little bit first. I've noticed some usernames are the same as ones I've seen faving/watching me here, so that's why I'm making this journal to as a heads up. You may be wondering how you're going to introduce yourself without communicating through Skype/Steam. The answer:
Note me.
Seriously, I'd really prefer to just share a bit of dialogue with someone before I make a decision to let them message me freely.
Thanks for reading.

Good, I'll make this brief and simple:
chuckybb recently found out that they have some debt accumulated, look here for the precise details:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5807101/
So yeah, seems like they're in a bit of a pickle right? And $1200 doesn't grow on trees, isn't a very easy amount of money to get. You're probably thinking right now: yeesh, there's no way they'll raise that much just by asking for charity. At this point the usual thing to say is that every donation counts and adds up quickly, but that's putting it in vague terms. I don't like to be vague, so let me be precise.
I recently messaged them, so far they have only raised $50 so they have $1150 more to go. I currently have 58 people watching me. Let's say we all make a donation, including myself, how much would we need to give so they'll be debt free?
1500 divided by 59 is about $19.50
So basically, if me and everyone else gave just that much, it's be enough. Doesn't seem so steep now, does it?

Rambling Thoughts Following Dissapointment (Pony Related)
Posted 11 years agoSo just recently I asked an artist I liked if they were alright with drawing a pony character since they were open for commissions. Their answer was that they didn't draw ponies. Now some part of me wants to be upset, to fling so much shit into the air it turns into a storm, but I don't want to be the type of person to fill the internet with any more hatred and vitriol than it already has. So just to keep myself calm and express my thoughts, I'm going to make a list:
Why an artist may not draw ponies for you:
1. They're just unable to draw them, or can but don't think they can draw them well.
This is pretty self explanatory. An artist is not going to agree to do a commission that is beyond their scope of abilities, as sometimes there are some body-types that they are really good at composing while there are others that they just struggle with. Maybe they can draw an equine body, but they feel that it doesn't look as good as the rest of their work that they pump out on a regular basis, and thus they don't want to disappoint someone who expects the same quality for an MLP-style commission.
2. They just don't like ponies: the style, the show, the fandom, or any of the above.
In a world where you're lucky to find a way to make money that doesn't feel like torture, even luckier if the method involves doing something you actually like, it remains true that there is a limit to what a person will do even if they're getting paid for it. The job I currently work involves interacting with a lot of people, both in person and over the phone. Despite the occasional instance where someone just isn't having a good day and something I do sets them off, or I make a mistake that gets someone upset at me, the vast majority work goes smoothly.
But if I was working a job where I could choose who to serve and know ahead of time who I would get grief from, you'd bet I would only choose the people things would go smoothly with.
3. The people they do regular business with don't like ponies.
The last thing anyone who's looking to make money wants is to alienate the very people that they do business with. This doesn't just hold true for people who don't draw ponies and are scared of upsetting the people who watch them by drawing them. This goes for a lot of things: I've seen an artist who usually draws vore make a few really good diaper pictures, but with massive disclaimers in the descriptions saying that they didn't usually do that sort of thing and wouldn't continue to do so, pleading for people in it for only vore to not unwatch them. The inverse is true also: people who usually only draw ponies are afraid of drawing anything else they like.
It's a sad but understandable state of affairs that we're all dug into our own territory and don't always have the courage to step out of the box and get some fresh air.
I remember reading the comments of one of my commissions from an artist that doesn't normally draw ponies. There was one person who basically said: "I like what you did with this, but I don't like ponies." There's no point in arguing whether or not their dislike is warranted or appropriate to mention in comments, it just proves that even people who like an artist will make a fuss when something they don't like pops up under their work.
I've actually been very fortunate up to this point. I've been choosing who to commission based on not just whether or not they draw ponies regularly, but whether I admire their art. This is the very first time someone has told me they're not willing to draw what I want in exchange for money, and it probably isn't going to be the last.

To all of my watchers
Posted 12 years agoIt's great and all, it makes me happy that you like the art that I'm uploading here. Really, it makes me feel good to see the Fs appearing whenever someone favorites what I have. It's really nice, but to be blunt:
This is not art by me.
Okay, maybe you're getting a little extra something what with my story-type descriptions, but all I'm adding is little more than...a skeleton of a story that only compliments the picture that's already there. I even have a link to both the artist and the original picture, and it annoys me when people don't give any love to the people who actually spent the time and effort making these images instead of the hack who writes a little something to go with commissions he gets.
I'll say right now that there are images I have commissioned that have not been uploaded here, so you'll have to visit the original artists to see it yourself.
That is all.

Looking for help for a friend. [Done]
Posted 12 years agoI know that it's very unlikely anyone will see and read this, but a friend of mine needs help and is willing to offer art for anyone willing to donate. They don't need very much, so please pitch in if possible.
