Instead, I got weirdly motivated to look into all my old notes trying to find artists I got commissions from but never actually collected on.

I should try and find an artist to do a good ORCtober piece...

Was recently made aware of the fact that, apparently, the hashes that keep people's passwords safe on FurAffinity, were exposed with this latest fiasco.

I'm now seriously considering switching to another website, but for certain I'm going to be grabbing a copy of all of my images on FA so I don't lose anything.

If I switch to another site, I'll relay where I'm going so people who would like to follow me can do so elsewhere, but at the moment FA does not feel secure anymore.

After the latest fiasco with FA, I've been thinking more and more about my account and what I want to do with it.

I'm not a fan of the username (it never was one I wanted to keep, but this was the account I used when I lurked), and it IS pretty disorganized...

I'm tempted to just redo the whole account wholesale and then maybe setup a backup somewhere like FurryNetwork or something. Not fully sure yet...

So I'm sitting here thinking to myself "I want a picture of a muscular, knocked-up, cum-dripping, cuntmale orc but I have no idea who would draw such a thing".

And then I thought "I wish there was a database I could plug in what I want art of and it'd give me a list of artists that are willing to do that".

And it sucks, because nothing like that exists right now...

So I'm taking classes towards a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security and it's renewed my distaste for programming.

I just don't really have the brain to try and convert something from an idea into workable code. x.x I'm gonna take another look at the other classes I still have to take for this degree program and hope that I don't have to take any more programming classes... I just don't feel like I'm any good with it.

I took a look over my itinerary for my trip to Rainfurrest and only now do I realize that I get to Rainfurrest on the same day that I leave for it, meaning the 24th... which means I don't have a place to stay for the whole of the 24th before the con starts...

Does anyone know of someone going to Rainfurrest that I might be able to crash with for that night? I have a room for the rest of the con, I just don't have one for the day BEFORE the con starts...

I miss the "Select All" button in the New Submissions menu that seems to have been lost in the site update. =C

I wanted a vacation, I'm getting a vacation.

Gonna be at Rainfurrest 2015 and I plan to enjoy myself.

After everything that's been going on recently, I really think I need a vacation.

Gonna start putting things together so that I can go to Rainfurrest this year.

Things have been absolutely hell for me the last couple weeks, and I'm not sure how much more I can take before I just break down.

Things have been rough ever since a friend of mine, whom I truly care about and wanted to be in a relationship, suddenly got into a relationship with someone else... then a week or so later, a friend of mine got mad at me and isn't talking to me over something stupid in a video game... and just recently another friend got upset with me because we weren't spending more time together...

I'm losing my mind, having so much trouble coping with all the pain and upset and the people mad at me. I probably would have lost it a long time ago, had it not been for some other friends of mine who've been helping me through this.

I really just hope this all ends soon and things go back to normal when people were happy...

I wanted to get a friend of mine a commission for Christmas, but of the people that I know who do human/elf characters really well, nobody is open. =C

Last year, I took my cat Gustav out into the snow to experience it for the first time.

It snowed last night and I decided to take him out into the snow again this year.

He didn't like it too much and bolted back downstairs as fast as he could. XD

I love my cat so much.

I was having an "argument" with my mom today, topic eventually came around to the fact that I didn't want to tell people I was gay because I didn't know how my dad would react (she already knew) and wanted a Plan B in case things went south.

She tells me everybody already knows, in spite of the fact that I don't act any different.

So now I'm not sure how to feel about all this.

Been spending the last few days in a training seminar on some next-gen firewalls.

They're so good, my dad is already planning to stick one on our home network to block things like Facebook (mostly to stop my little sister from going there) and porn... which probably means I can't visit FA anymore so long as I'm on our home network...

Ugh.

A friend of mine is starting up a campaign based on the Corruption of Champions game. It was something that I was really looking forward to, but when I found out the campaign would take place on Sunday, I had to resign from it.

Sundays are the family dinner days for my family, everyone getting together and spending time with each other over dinner. I can't miss it, otherwise I get yelled at (something that wouldn't happen if I was ever able to move out), and being in the Pacific Time Zone, it makes scheduling nearly impossible for me.

So right now, I'm just feeling kinda sad because I can't do something fun and sexy with my friends. T^T

Last Thursday, my car broke down.

For whatever reason (ambient heat of the summer, a stupid radiator, not really stop-and-go traffic, etc.), my car very quickly overheated and crapped out on me; the engine would still run and I could turn the car on, but trying to put it into any other gear besides park shifted it into neutral. Very upset, I called my insurance people, trying to get a tow truck out to me. They told me to call 911, as I was trapped near an inner section and a traffic hazard. I called 911 and they finally got a tow truck out to me.

Then the tow truck driver charged me $204 to bring it three blocks. $175 for the towing, $24 for the dispatch, and then $5 per mile. He called it their "police fee", which they charge when the police call them in to do a job. $204 came out of my pocket when I was already low on cash and hoping my next paycheck would give me enough to pay off the class I had in the fall. Thankfully, the tow truck that got called out by the insurance company wouldn't charge us any more than the $150 coverage limit to take it to our preferred mechanic. The mechanic couldn't figure out what's wrong with it, by the way.

I finally managed to get a hold of the claims people at our insurance company and hopefully they will be able to pay me back all the money that I had to pay for following their instructions.

I hate that Half-Orc art tends to make half-orcs look more like they dumped their Charisma score.

Why is it so hard to find art of half-orcs that make them look really damned handsome and youthful?

It's not right when my most reliable course of action for obtaining a reference image for my half-orc characters (because that's all you really get when you play over a virtual tabletop, and nobody's gonna read my character description, much less remember it) is to pay someone to do it for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love buying artwork from talented artists, but I just wish I didn't have to do it, because the half-orc pics that I've been able to find are so bad at properly conveying how I want my characters to look. Because, unlike seemingly everyone else who plays half-orcs, I DON'T DUMP CHARISMA...

One of these days, I should make a half-orc character with killer mental stats and be a badass spellcaster or something, just so I can make fun of how stupid some people are for thinking all half-orcs are ugly and stupid, and are only good for combat classes (like Barbarians).

Ugh... I should go to bed and not be online rambling...

Watched the Sony press conference and was nothing but impressed with the line-up, the features of the device, and the price tag.

Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III, Watch_Dogs, and Destiny are all on my list of games that I will really be looking forward to in the near future.

So many wonderful and attractive bears are gonna be at the Beartown event in Portland, including some friends of mine, and I can't go because of a busted car...

My computer seems to be fighting tooth and nail to prevent me from having an easy time replacing my broken motherboard.

It feels like everything that can go wrong is trying to go wrong.

So earlier, and by earlier I mean like... an hour ago or so... I was looking over my game shelf, checking to see what I had, because I've been playing a lot of Mass Effect 3 lately, mainly the multiplayer and just having with blowing the shit out of enemies with various powers and making them explode. I wanted a change of pace, though, and decided to try playing a fantasy game instead of a science fiction game.

As it turns out, I really don't have any... At this very moment, my game collection looks like this:

Final Fantasy Series (X, X-2, XI, XII, XIII, XIII-2, XIV, Dissidia, Dissidia 012, Crisis Core), Halo Series (Anniversary Edition, 2, 3, 4, Reach, Wars), Ratchet and Clank Series (1, Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, Deadlocked, Tools of Destruction, A Crack in Time), Kingdom Hearts Series (1, 2, Re:Chain of Memories, Birth by Sleep, 258 days/2), Gears of War Series (1, 2, 3), Portal 1 and 2, Phantasy Star Universe, Phantasy Star Portable 2, Megaman X, Parasite Eve: The Third Birthday, Star Wars; The Old Republic, Left 4 Dead, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim...

I can't play any of the MMOs, because I don't have the money to afford a monthly subscription, nor do I really have the time to really play one anyway, and I just fucking hate World of Warcraft now, I wouldn't wanna play it even if I could afford it. I can't play any of the games that are only for the Playstation 2, Playstation Portable, or Nintendo DS, because I just have no damned clue what happened to any of those platforms (lost the PS2 a hell of a long time ago and really don't feel like buying a new one, especially since Square Enix is being fucking awesome and re-releasing most of them for the PS3 in the near future anyway). I can't play any of the nintendo games that must exist somewhere in my house, because even if I knew where they where, the Wii is missing pieces to it. So all that's really left for me is Skyrim, and that's not enough.

So right now I'm kinda in the market for really good fantasy-genre games for the PS3 and Xbox 360. And maybe Assassin's Creed, but that's the exception.

I'm gonna be home at about 5:30pm PST today and I'm really in the mood to RP today.
