My mentor, some time ago, advised me to stop doing requests at my current skill level, and it was one of the few points where I adamantly disagreed with him on. Nowadays? Too many people seem to assume that a request needs to be done, if I do so much as listen to it. I no longer have the time or patience for them--from the general public, anyhow--anymore.

So, unless I've known you for a good while, and our conversations have revolved around something other than me drawing something for you, I'm not taking requests anymore. If we are in the middle of a trade, I apologize for keeping you waiting, and will make it a point to be done this December, before taking any other trades, if I do.

I'm not sitting idle. I'm wrestling with personal distractions, high blood pressure, a job that I took out of need vs want, and ADHD. ...and, frustration with myself at the struggle against these things. If you've waited for awhile, I apologize, and if you'd rather someone else do it, that's fine. One thing that isn't fine, however, is how badly I beat myself up sometimes, for not being better or more prolific as I once was, and that needs to stop. Now.

What I will not draw:
Hermaphrodites. This includes, but isn't limited to: futanari, shemales, chakats, and the like. If they have both sets of sex organs, or have one gender's body type but the other gender's equipment, they fall into this category.

Excessive gore.
Underage sexual situations. This includes non-human characters.
Graphic depictions of violence or gore.

Can be reduced to any size, or made larger, but for larger ones, inform me before the commission is started.

Reference Sheet--$20:
Single character from the front, side, and back, in a standard T pose.

It's been a bit since I've updated my journal, so I feel that I should give a status report. Over the past couple of months, I've been in classes, unemployed, and fighting for my unemployment insurance. I recently got a job at a gas station, during the afternoons of my days off from classes, which has begun to eat into my time. As a result, I haven't started commissions yet, and any trades I want to do--and, I want to do them, I have four years of time I lost from my first departure from dA to catch up on--are slowed, at least a bit.

On Trades: I'm working on them. If we're in the middle of one, I ask that--if you'd like--not to post your half, unless you really want to, until I've done mine. Those that already have, I'm working on them, and ask that you wait a little longer.

On Requests: I'm holding off on them, for now. I'll never not do requests, as it goes against my very nature, but I can't do them right now, in a reasonable amount of time.

On Commissions: Save for the very small handful of folks I'm doing them for, I'm not doing any, yet. I want to put together more samples, and try to get into a rhythm, so I can have a fast, quality turnaround.

Regarding requests and the like, please don't clutter my main page with them. Notes, or an IM over AIM work far better, and give me a record of these things.

If you want to do something for me, but need to ask about my characters, again, ask away, but in a note or over an IM.

...apparently, I'm a tyrannical, world-conquering monster, who finds true love, brings the world under my heel, and still winds up in Paradise, once all is said and done!

At times, I feel like I am. I do a lot of things for my friends, loved ones, and family. Loaning money, doing free pictures for them, or fulfilling my half of trades with others long before they do their halves. I've bought games under their insistence, with the ultimately empty promise of doing something together with them. I give a lot to them, to people who I feel I know, and I always felt that it made them happy, which made me happy, for a time.

Nowadays, though, I'm not so sure.

This isn't something that's isolated, either. I've done things for friends that I don't normally want to do, under the promise of having it come back to me. Kept my mind, and my schedule, open to things that I'm not that interested in at times, for fear of hurting someone's feelings should I give them a flat-out “no”. I've waited, patiently, as they sift through their own issues—usually minor ones like laziness—and continued to wait. What choice have I? They're my friends, right? So, I must remain patient. With some of them, for months or even years. And, yet, as frustrated, as infuriated as I am, I can't bear to change myself from the person I am.

I'm here.

I listen.

I give.

It's how I'm meant to be. Whether or not it makes me happy.

Today, after being in the hospital for a week and a half for surgery, my grandmother was taken off of life support. She was 94.

My mother, my brother, and my nieces' mother were there, to wish her well on her journey.

Well, I believe that, after Spark bonding, a protoform begins gestating within the female's body, being constructed inside of a small factory within her abdomen (similar to the movie Batteries Not Included). After the mother has taken in enough energy and raw materials, the protoform is born in a stasis pod, either as a base protoform, or with modifications akin to both of his or her parents.

As you may or may not have noticed, a lot of things I've been uploading over the past month have been, mainly, portraits. Portraits of my characters, and others, either standing or posing sexily. It's not that I don't have any ideas--I have a file that's about 5 or so pages long with 'em--but, it's more along the lines that I want to refine my basic drawing techniques, and the way I draw figures at rest, in motion, and scrunched up.

Likewise, you'll notice that the bulk of my gallery is, has, and almost always will be, consistant of fanart of others original characters. A few that I work for have expressed concern, nay, fear of "oweing" me for something, just because I do something for them. While I'm flattered at that, and never turn down fanart, I feel that the only thing I require from others is patience and an honest critique. Fanart's nice, every once in a while, but it's not why I draw other people's stuff.

I'm not bored with vore or pregnancy. I just fear boring my audience to death and, worse, failing myself, potential-wise.

Some of the submissions I'm sending up here have the "Kildaver" name attached to them. That's the title I use for my non-fetish artworks on dA, but we are the same being.

Yeah, it's been nearly 2 and a half years since I came here. I left, initially, because of certain things that happened (or, rather, didn't) here...and, wound up getting banned on dA for linking to my Eka's page. T_T

So, here we go again!

I finally decided to return here. And, I am taking requests, but I prefer that they be made via AIM.
