Just found out that he passed away due to natural causes earlier today, about 3 hours ago at the time this journal is created.

I didn't get a chance to know him personally, but I've definitely have seen him be a fantastic person to a lot of people.

Hey there fellow furs. Gonna give a mini report of what went down at FC for me, from what I can remember.

Arrived on Wednesday at the Airport where picked me up. Waited around for a while and then Kiteless managed to pick up from the airport as well. Crashed at his place for the night, and then went to the Marriot, with  lilglenndoggy in the mid afternoon.

On Thursday and Friday, for me not much happened other than video gaming ADP,buying, and wandering around. Was trying to catch some panels that interested me, and some never happened, while others did not fit the description as stated in the mini booklet.

I did manage to get a book for one of my best friends on Thursday. He requested a book by Kyell Gold, and I did buy it from him, and since he was there, Kyell was more than willing to sign it in his name. Did my good deed for the con.

On Friday night, I did attend the Adult Dragon Panel, that showcased a new charity called Dragons Against Bullying, and also showcased some really hot dragon erotica. Around 10 artists or so contributed to this years panel, with most of the names I forgot because my memory is shotty like that.
Also ran into at the con. And man, can she play a mean Juri on Super Street Fighter, my goodness. Was a pleasure running into her at the con. Freaking awesome.

I was involved in the UMVC3 tournament on Friday, but I did not fare well at all and got knocked out in the first round. In the end ended up taking the crown.



On Saturday, I did end up loosening up more and having more fun, because more people wanted to hang around instead of just meeting up with one person. I did participate in this years FC 2014 poker tournament where a dragon won the tournament, whose name I forget. I managed to get my name skipped in this years smash tournament. But then participated in it anyway when another person didn't show up. I lost, but it was all in good fun since I haven't played that game in years.
Also caught this years fursuit parade as well. Wonderful to see it again after a 2 year absence.

ended up winning this years smash tournament as well.


On Sunday, I finally bought this year's dragon hoard comic. I was there for their very first one and am happy to support their cause, especially now that they have a charity as well.
Ran into some great furs on Sunday as well, as around 90 percent of the attendees at the con left on that day.

Not much to report on Monday, it was fun to see all the furs participate in elevator con all over again to try to leave for their flights/rides. Managed to stay until Tuesday in the afternoon, where I said goodbye to the 10 or so furries leftover and then flew back home.

If I were to give this con a rating, it would be a 6.5 out of 10. Main reason being that I didn't start to have my fun until the halfway point of the con. I might be back next year if arrangements fall into place. Time will tell.



Here's the facepalm alert. If you haven't seen it already, College Humor did a cartoon named "Furry Superheroes are Super Gross" It's definitely a different take on the adult side of the fandom, however I myself managed to laugh my ass off in the process.

I only attended the last 2 years of the con, but I will say that they definitely got their shit together and it was a fantastic experience.

Just wanted to share this video here. I've personally researched this and found out all of it is true.
And I do hope that more people wake up and want to "revamp" the system or gut it completely.

I've had to defend to tooth and nail why I'm NOT voting. I've seen how the structure truly is. However most people that are voting are not truly aware of all the lies, and the cheating, and the manipulation goes on in the election and in congress.

I'm not voting for evil, whether one side is less evil than the other is fucking stupid. Those that say that voting does make a change. I so want to believe you. The only change that has been made per-say is advancement of the LGBT and black communities over the past 35 years. In terms of how things are done financially, everything has gotten way worse. Education, military spending, the budget, the global economy, how the federal reserve spends the government money unchecked. It's sickening, and at this pace if nothing gets done soon, America is in for a rude awakening.

I'm honestly for "revamping" the entire system. It needs to be gutted and restructured or entirely replaced in order for America to strive from now on. The major banks need to go as well, because they are the ones that have the world by the balls, so to speak.

A reminder of how the economy (at least the American economy) works is below.
