So people always say don't judge a book by its cover. But what if said book is whoreish, shallow, slutty, materialistic, spoiled, puts out a sex tape and treats marriage like an inconvenience?

Matt Lauer of The Today Show has a new contract. He had threatened to quit so NBC bumped him from $17 million dollars a year to close to $30 million a year.

0.2% of 30 million is 60,000. Locally teachers start around 36k. Cops less than 41. Firemen are volunteer so they get paid as they go but I can't imagine they make more than 25k a year. Ambulance drivers make around 40. CNA's from nursing homes and mental health tech's make around 22.

Is that prick worth that much? What does he contribute? This morning he's interviewing Kim Kardashian. Is that worth more half the people in this country make a year?

Teefury has a really super awesome Regular Show shirt today. It's got Mordecai and Rigby, Pops, Skips, Hi Five and Muscle Man.

The dilemma I have is J G Quintel won't get even a penny if I buy it. The artist who came up with the design for the shirt gets 1 dollar. Teefury keeps the rest. I want to support clever shows, that not every one knows about.

I want to let my freak flag fly, I did buy a Cthulhu shirt but that's because the hold on Lovecrafts copyright status is muddy.

I saw a Game of Thrones shirt on their site recently and I didn't buy it because I want those who have the original ideas that people base the design off of to make money and be able to keep turning out these awesome ideas.

Well, I'm that much closer to 30 now and I'm still fighting the good fight to not be bald. Although I do wear hats I remove them when in a restaurant or theater. I guess it doesn't bother me as much then.

Well I was told today that since I used Facebook to message a co-worker and ask a question, (and in doing so described what happened) that I might be fired. Apparently asking someone who works with you in health care a question violates HIPPA even though it wasn't over anything medical, just behavioral. So... thank you Mr. Clinton, I've always wanted to be fired from my job for trying to ask a question about it.

When people complain about something then do the opposite of fixing the problem?

I see so many journals of people who complain they have zero in the way of liquid assets. But these same people are at cons or meets all the time. Some are driving a few hundred miles to get to them in the first place. Then spending who knows how much at the con/meet.

I like to be notified when people have new art promoted, I like to let people know that I think their talent is appreciated but really, some of these people need their journal function revoked.

Bought a ton of clay, silicon putty and latex. I'm going to be making Halloween props. I'll be loading them up soon.

I know smoking is considered bad for you, and so is drinking but right now I could use one or the other. Maybe even both.

On an unrelated note.. or at least I'll call it unrelated.. how do you tell someone who is acting like a dick, and ignoring you, that their being a dick without sounding like a dick yourself? I don't want to sound needy or anything but you say something to someone and they ignore it.

How was everyone Labor Day? Everyone still has all their digits, toes, tails, ears and scales I hope. If your from this part of Indiana you might know that the little burg of Plymouth plays host to the 'Blueberry Festival' on Labor day. Final numbers are not yet in but I heard from a few people at the BZA last year that we hosted over 800,000 people over a 4 day period. Traffic jaaaaam.

I was screwing around on Facebook and came across a wall post. Apparently a guy who graduated a year behind me was convicted of child molestation and he's now dating a woman from my class who has Three, count them Three kids.

Naturally, the EX husband.. one of my friends is heap big upset. Thing is, this convicted felon is friends with some people I would have never thought. The schools superintendent, the high school principal. The Jr. high principal. A local candidate for mayor. Like 3 cops. Holy crap.

While the actions of a Federal office taking up a standard for LGBT issues does sound commendable, the President has handled Don't Ask Don't Tell in a poor manner, among other things that seem like a slap in the face to the community as a whole.

And while the video has a handful of Dept. employees speaking about their experiences in coming out, living as gay men, and lesbian women Ken Salazar is not gay.

So.. I bought a four pack bundle of it, used one myself and gifted two others to people who don't really play. Eh, a learning experience. However, I am getting into this game now. Its actually pretty fun.

Nothing is cooler than digging a tunnel under a lake with goodies at the bottom and then draining the lake into the tunnel. So much fun. The EPA would shit if it knew how many lakes I've drained.

So at some prodding I decided to try Second Life again. My first run at it was like 3 years ago and I must say I didn't enjoy it. However a friend pointed out there are a lot of furs on SL so, I am taking another stab.

So, if anyone is familiar with Second Life and knows of a spot to find good furry avatars, please let me know.

Its strange, looking at 3D naked furs and listening to Georg Telemann and his Violin Concetro in A. I do have a weakness for chamber music and nudity it would seem. All to my folly.

It would be remiss of me to not recollect some of the con moments that I happened to enjoy. I'll be thinking about this for the day and add when I recall things. The biggest thing that immediately jumps at me is when I saw the pool I thought 'I hope it has a fur filter...'

Its the IFC 2011 Fursuit Parade.

Apparently some of my photo's I've taken were not as nice as Fur Affinity would want... so they've removed several of them. I'll put them on flickr or something and post a link here, so if anyone wants to see what I took and maybe identify who's in them, they are then free to do so.

So I got back from IFC and I had a blast. I met so many cool people but I don't know how to list them all here so we'll just flub a bit and say EVERYONE THERE IS FUCKING AWESOME. Some seriously awesome suits, bitching artists and a whole ton of good looking people. If I only had time for all...

So I am adding all the artists to my watch list that I got artwork and such off of. I've hoped that I've gotten everyone but I know I've missed some since I bought so many things. If it had a dick showing going into someone else I bought it, I'll not be coy about it.

I'll be taking pics of all the stuff I picked up, as a derp move. If I've watched you, or messaged you... posted on your wall its because I'm still on my high. Tomorrow after I wake up i'll have the whole post con derpression.

So as I was leaving for work last night for an on call emergency I noticed my car was low when I got into it. I thought it was strange, so I got out and as soon as I did I hear 'POP' but with a metallic quality to it. To make a short story long, I go out the next afternoon and discover to my abject horror that my spring has come asunder. And the tire is flat. So, hrmm.

On slightly better news the people who paid me monies for something said they were mistaken in their time frame, or that I had heard them wrong. Its now available to be re-produced on any medium I so choose, I just can't charge for it. So I'll be finding the file and posting my first short story quite soon. Isn't everyone who's watching me in for a treat, oh wait that's almost no one.
