Because money-management apps like to be cunts, the $300 I was banking on getting from the few stocks we traded during the Corona dip won't reach our account now for anything up to a week - and we kinda need money for this move. So if anyone would like a quick/small-ish commission (one or two character pieces with no BG, small sticker packs, etc), pls let me know. :F

A lot of you have seen this tweet circulating this morning, outing a number of well-known furries as transphobes, racists, or both - to sickening degrees.

I'm ashamed to discover I've drawn art for some of them in the past - obviously before I knew any of this. That art has now been deleted and/or replaced with appropriate thumbnails, as I retain the copyright as the artist under both US and EU law, so - fuck them.

That said, I know what the alt-right is like, and respectfully, I know what furries can be like too. So I'm going to come clean about a part of myself that some may find distasteful;

I like, and draw, Cub art. I do it under a different moniker, and on a different site (IB), intentionally so people who don't want to see it don't accidentally do so (god willing FA will some day finally install a blacklist function but given how old the site is I'm not holding my breath)

Like everything I create, the characters are always fictional, always consenting, and always understand and enjoy what's going on.

I have never, do never, and will never approve of or condone imagery depicting or intending to depict any real person, or anyone who does not understand or consent to their situation, in any way that is harmful to them.

I'm also not apologising, because I have this fabulous ability to separate fantasy from reality - hence how I can both draw and jack it to imagery of cartoon dog people fucking, and not also want to fuck an actual dog.

If this revelation leads to any of you wanting to unfollow me, I completely understand. I will not judge you, nor will I attempt to stop you. Just let me say it's been a pleasure entertaining you while you've been here, and I hope you enjoyed the ride up to now.

 mightymightyena and I want to move to Boston to live with a friend of ours (and find way better/more work opportunities for his skill set) but that needs money. Thankfully we've found a very affordable option; sell everything we own that isn't a PC or our clothes and jump on a Greyhound.

That said we're still gonna need money both in the meantime for living expenses and for the general costs associated with emptying/cleaning an apartment, etc.

Somehow managed to completely fuckin mismanage our finances last month so watch this space b/c as soon as I clear some pending jobs out I'm boutta be opening up a SHITload of slots. And I'm back on it full time so expect quick turnarounds again.

Long story short, we got a long-awaited financial windfall. Used it to clear off a couple of our more pressing debts and with our bills and this month's rent also covered, I've been taking it easy for a bit to recharge.

Don't worry tho, I'll be back on my bullshit soon enough!

Oh also I figured out how to do animated Telegram stickers :> So those are a thing now.

Forgot about our internet bill (thanks Cox for not telling me until it was so past due we're up to be cut off), so while I chew through all these paid-for commissions over the next day or so I may fall offline. Hopefully I'll get back sooner rather than later.

We should be good now. I'm always still open to new commissions but thanks to a lot of interest, some donations and at least one dude who keeps hitting that "send shinies" button here on FA today, we're gonna be alright for the rent, and we were able to go grocery shopping.
