Decided that due to the surge in COVID cases, especially with the omicron variant, I am not attending FC 2022.

It is a shame as I was registered to volunteer and this was to be my first time volunteering for this Con.

My partner is older than me and I was concerned about the possibility of him getting sick if I came home with the virus.

I was able to safely go to BLFC 2021 without issues, but as Omicron is much more transmissible than Delta and the other older variants, I felt that it would be safer to stay home this time.

I am still looking forward to BLFC 2022 in June and I am planning to attend FC 2023.

I hope that all who are still planning to attend Further Confusion 2022 take care and have a wonderful and safe time!

This year has been another strange year and it seems that everything that we hold dear has been threatened by those who wish to oppress us.

However, let us remember the true spirt of the season, the true meaning of Midwinter. As the solstice has passed, the sun is now returning more and more as the days go on. Hope. Hope that maybe things will get better.

Let us toast to a Happy Holiday Season and let up hope that 2022 will be better than 2020 and 2021.

BLFC 2021 has now behind us and BLFC 2022 is now 8 months from now.

I had a wonderful time in Reno despite the couple of incidents that I know we have all heard about by now… 🍕💦

I plan on getting tested for COVID next week (test requires 5-7 days from potential exposure), but I am confident since I took the proper precautions, though some would say I was overly cautious, at the Con.

Good Things:

I was happy to finally go to a con after nearly 2 years since I attended my last one (FC 2020).
I always love the trip up to Reno and the wonderful sights along the way.
I can get away from my normal life for a few days to have fun!
I am very glad there was a Vaccine Mandate for the Con or I wouldn’t have gone.
I am glad that I didn’t see any issues with attendees wearing masks (Good Job Everyone! 👍)
I was able to see a couple artists / performers that I have enjoyed seeing at previous Cons.
I was able to fursuit as Rex in public once again which was wonderful! 🐺❤️
I loved participating in the Adult Fursuit Games which I always look forward to every year.

Things I wished I could improve on my Experience:

I spent more $$$ than I wanted to.
My partner couldn’t come with me, so I was alone.
I am really shy and don’t converse well at all with people, so I was very lonely during the whole Con.
I tried to talking with people, but I felt that it ended up very being very awkward 😔. I hope they don’t dislike me because of that.
The weather was awful most of the time and as I didn’t stay at the Grand Sierra, I had to walk back and forth to my car in the rain and the severe winter storm Sunday/Monday night prevented me from going home on Monday and I had to extend my hotel reservation, costing me every more $$$!

Overall, I was very happy that I went to BLFC and I look forward to the next one in June!

Headed up to Reno tomorrow for BLFC!

Wish I had people to hang out with though.

Everyone who is going needs to be very careful about COVID. Unfortunately, there may be those who will try to skirt the rules as well as the guests of the GSR who are not taking part in BLFC.
We must not forget the COVID is NOT OVER YET!
Please wear masks and be responsible not only for yourself, but also for the safety and health of all the other attendees.

Also for those traveling up from the Bay Area, please be careful driving over the summit. I will take care myself as it is supposed to be raining when I am planning on driving.

This October 9th, I turn 30! 🐺🎂3️⃣0️⃣🎉🎈🎊


I finished a special artwork a couple days ago that I plan on releasing on my birthday to commemorate Wulfgar's entry into "Daddyhood."

I am currently also revising my Reference Sheets to comply with some slight updates to Wulfgar (myself) to correspond with this amazing, yet terrifying new stage in my life.

BLFC 2021 Update:

Unbelievably, BLFC 2021 is a couple weeks away! I am totally excited, but still worried a bit about going (COVID). As long as I stay careful, hopefully things will be OK.

I can't believe that it has been over 2 years since the last BLFC and almost 2 years since the last Con I attended (FC 2020). I am a little nervous, as we all should, about the state of the world and the state of COVID. Thankfully, BLFC has taken feedback from the community and is going to implement (and hopefully be able to enforce) COVID restrictions for the Con. Let's hope that there won't be any problems with anti-vaxxers / anti-maskers / super-spreaders who may try to cause trouble.

I am still debating if I should take Rex (my fursuit) to BLFC because I am not sure if I'd be able to wear him while wearing a mask. I would need to find a suitable mask that would work comfortably inside his head while still providing protection against COVID.

My Stories and Characters:

I am also in the process of finally writing down the stories about the lives of my characters. I've had the stories in my mind for a long time and some of these characters, such as Riko in particular, are very dear to my heart and I feel it is my duty to immortalize them by sharing them to the world.

It has been a long time coming and I look forward to sharing my world with you!

The character information is still a WIP, as I need to transcribe their biographies from my mind into workable biographies that I can share. In addition, I never created reference sheets for many of my characters, so I am in the process of working on those as well. 30th Birthday!:

Life Updates:

This year has been very hard for me.

As you might recall, my dad passed away back in March. It doesn't hurt as much anymore, but unfortunately the tumultuous and stressful relationship I had with him has reminded me of some of the good times, but also the very terrifying bad times. I never was able to hold any kind of memorial service or get together with family (because of COVID), but I was never really looking forward to seeing any of those terrible hateful people.

I feel that maybe I am having a 'midlife crisis.' LOL.

At this stage in my life, I am still a nervous wreak that is trying to adapt to this world. I am still unemployed and looking for work. I am not sure what I want to do anymore though, as I feel a bit lost. I do enjoy the sciences and have been trying to get a laboratory job, but somewhere inside I feel that maybe that isn't what I am meant to do. So I am not sure what my path should be. I do have a small eBay business on the side which helps, but it isn't enough right now. I wish I was a better artist and that my art could support me, but as we all know, being an artist isn't the most profitable career. Finally, I had been helping us at home with my unemployment, but as that has come to an end too, just adds to the already problematic situation.

In addition, this year I have been diagnosed with ADHD and am awaiting further confirmatory testing of an Autism diagnosis (my therapist calls it a double whammy). I always knew I was different from everyone else. I knew that I had trouble talking, making friends, and being able to focus on what I needed to do. Instead of supporting me, my family made fun of me and essentially psychological abused me throughout my childhood into young adulthood. I tried hard to fight against my issues and managed to get myself into college, but in the end it wasn't good enough for them. Even after graduating, I haven't been able to find a job in my field and as the years go by, so do my chances of getting one. I have a very difficult time communicating with people, which is one of the major reasons that I never really made any friends and haven't been able to succeed.

The one exception, the one person who has truly accepted who I am, is my Partner. My partner has been supportive of all of this, but it can be stressful even for him. I am grateful to him being able to tolerate my issues. I am grateful everyday that we were able to find each other. We celebrated our 8th Anniversary earlier this year and we are looking forward to the possibility that we may get married!

I hope that the rest of this year goes well and I am looking forward to the holiday season, as it usually brightens my spirits as I love the decorating and festivities.

BLFC 2021 has been announced for the weekend of October 21-24th.

I am really excited to be able to a Con again, but still cautiously optimistic.

Let’s hope that most Americans are vaccinated by this time. I do want to go, but I want to make sure that it would be safe to do so.

My partner is excited as well as he knows that I love going to BLFC.

My partner an I have been thinking of formalizing our relationship as we have been together for 8 years! ❤️🐺🐱❤️
We love each other dearly and are excited for our continued adventures together. ❤️🐺🐱❤️

I’m still coping with my Dad’s loss, but with each passing day I feel that it is slowly getting better. 😥

Things are looking up as I have been getting his final arrangements in order. I miss him, but I know that it takes time to heal.

I’m glad my Dad was able to meet by partner, even though I never came out to him. In my heart I feel that he always knew and I believe that he approved of my relationship.

Thanks again to those who have offers their condolences.

Doing a little bit better.

Things are going along with regards to my Dad’s funeral arrangements and I was able to pick up some of his personal belongings today.

Still hurts quite a bit thinking about him, but hopefully I should start to feel better as time progresses.

I’m still in the grieving stage and in the process of getting everything in order following the unfortunate passing of my Dad.

The incident is currently under investigation as it seems to be a hit and run. His autopsy is tomorrow and the coroner’s office will be able to give me more information about his death.

Luckily I was able to talk with my Dad a couple days before, but with COVID, I wish I was able to visit him before he died.

Thank you to those who have voiced their sympathies for my loss.

I really hope that things will turn out ok.
