Sales terms, and conditions.
BASICS
You must confirm that you have read and agreed to this list of terms and conditions, before payment is sent. Confirming means you have read, and are subject to all terms or service listed here.
Commission work turnaround time averages 3-4 weeks. A basic queue will be listed on my FA page at all times (www.furaffinity.net/user/rhasputin). If I am vending a convention, or there is a holiday within your 3-4 week completion time, please allow an extra 1 week for completion. This will be noted on my FA profile as well. Rush commissions are available with a 48 hour turnaround time, please see the ‘additional fees’ section.
Large scale pieces with multiple characters may require a slightly longer time frame, but updates will be consistent.
If you are ordering adult content of any kind, by agreeing with this document you are declaring that you are legally able to do so.
Make sure you include ALL information you want included in your commission, up front. Anything not specified (personality, mood, pose, background location) will be considered artistic liberty.

PAYMENT
There are two payment options available:
100% up front
50% up front, 50% after sketch approval
Progress on commissions using the second option, will halt after the sketch approval, until the second payment is complete. Your spot in the queue will be pushed back if you take longer than 48 hours after sketch approval to pay off the remaining balance.
Deposits (in any amount) are 100% non-refundable if the commissioner decides to cancel.
Depending on the length of my queue, commissions made using the 50\50 payment plan may be put on hold until they are paid in full.
Sales of pre-made items (including adoptables) are FINAL, with the sole exception of defective products, which may be returned for a replacement.

CANCELING A COMMISSION
I reserve the right to cancel a service for any reason. You may request a cancelation, but it may or may not be granted on a case-by-case basis.
If your work has not been started, you may be given a full refund. If work is partially complete, you may receive a partial refund based on the completion percentage. If I am at fault for the cancelation, your compensation will be more in your favor.
I may cancel a commission due to:
Personal issues
Inability to complete work
Technical difficulties
Customer TOS violations
Unprofessional customer behavior
WORK IN PROGRESS
You are guaranteed 1 sketch for approval, on any commission type (excluding base edits). Other WIP may be requested. If no edits are requested after you've received your sketch, the commission will move forward. Further edits (other than mistakes on my part) may cost additional, or not be available at all after sketch approval.
Your reference image / images MUST be clear. If any aspect of the character is unclear, and a mistake is made because your reference is not clear, you are not entitled to free edits. Flat color, full body, multi-view reference sheets are preferred.
Free edit requests may be denied if:
Requested edits are different than originally discussed commission
Commissioner is requesting aesthetic changes that are not within my artistic style
Previous sketch was confirmed, and changes were requested past the approval stage
Alterations are not included in the reference image
If a customer requests a completely re-done sketch, and I accept the request, they may be subject to an additional charge. This charge covers the additional work. This charge is only applicable if the original sketch is done to the customer’s specifications, but they still request that it be re-done differently. Customers will not retain rights to the original sketch which is being replaced.
I am happy to work from descriptions, screenshots, or simple ref images, but may charge character design fees (see 'additional fees' section)
IMAGE DELIVERY
You will receive a full sized, 300dpi, flat PNG file, sent via Email.
If you have a specific size requirement, it must be noted before sketching has started.
I will not remove, or move my watermark or signature from the completed image.
I will not send the original SAI or PSD file unless image rights have been purchased.
SHIPPING
Items that require shipping, will be processed within a week of completion. You will receive a tracking number, through USPS.
If payment was made through paypal, the item MUST be shipped to the address associated with the purchase, in accordance with paypal TOS. Any items shipped to wrong addresses that were provided by the client, will not be eligible for a refund, or replacement.
General shipping costs for badges:

$10 international (Mexico, Canada)
$15 overseas
IMAGE RIGHTS / LICENSING
By commissioning me, you are granting me a temporary license to use your character in my work. This work may be used in whole or part- for advertising, display, or commercial purposes.
Private commissions are available upon request, please see the ‘additional fees’ section.
You have full rights to your commissioned work for personal use only.
You may:
Add an additional watermark for theft protection
Print it for your wall
Put it on a shirt for yourself
Use it on your phone or PC
Re-post to other sites, as long as a link is provided to one or more of my social media pages. Patreon preferred.
You may not:
Trace, modify, or edit the image in any way
Remove my signature or watermark
Print it for any commercial use, profit, or sales. Including charity, advertising, or non profit use.
Your art MAY be used in artwork prints. These prints will be for sale at conventions. If you would like a copy of your artwork after it has been made into a print, please ask, you can have one copy for free- just pay shipping!
AT-CON COMMISSIONS
At con commissions include any commissions which are paid for in person inside an artist alley or dealer’s den setting, meant to be completed within 24-48 hours. These badges do not include WIP updates.
On-time completion depends on your ability to respond to messages via the contact method you provide. If I am unable to contact you during the convention for collection, you will be responsible for shipping charges.
ADDITIONAL FEES
You may be subject to additional charges if any of the following applies to your commission, this will all be itemized, and quoted when you order.
If you have no full body reference images of your character
Reference images are difficult to view, or you have no single image
Character has complex markings, which require additional time and layers
Character has additional limbs, including wings, or complex unusual body parts,
Commission includes mature content
If you would like your commission ‘rushed’ and finished within 48 hours
If you would like your commission to remain private
Additional characters are priced the same as single characters, and are subject to the same fees.
AWOL / DELINQUENT PAYMENT
If I am unable to contact you using your provided contact information, or payment method for more than 4 weeks, your commission will be considered indefinitely on hold. Your place in the queue, and turnaround time estimate will be voided.
If I am unable to contact you, or if you have not reached out to me after 6 months (from invoice issue date, or payment date) your commission will be considered canceled, and you may not be eligible for a refund at a later date.
If after 6 months, we are able to continue contact, you may be subject to a 20% continuation fee, or additional charges based on price changes over time.
If you are using a payment plan, and have not made an additional payment or contact in 6 months your commission may be considered canceled, and your deposit may not be refunded.
These situations are INCREDIBLY rare, and are evaluated on a case by case basis.
