I'm an ordained minister and allowed to marry people. As far as I'm aware, there are no other fursuit ministers out there, don't quote me on this, I haven't done my research yet. I was so very happy to hear a knock on my door this morning and even more excited when I saw the post man with a box for me. I knew what was in the box and in feline nature, tore the box open and dove inside to get the items I've been waiting so very long for. I was happy, I put them on and I couldn't believe how good they fit me, i look at myself in the mirror and it was like I was transformed. So I came here to post about my excitement and in my normal way, I check the posted journals first and then submissions. When I checked my journals my happiness faded much faster than I'd ever had expected. The reason my happiness faded was because I just learned that one of my friends had a tragic loss recently. I don't know the details and will try not to speculate. My friend serpy, lost her mate and bird in what was a twelve hour period from one another, both were accidents. I'm tired of being empathic, yes it's nice to know the kind of mood people are in when you meet them so you know how to tread when talking to them. It's also a pain in the ass when you brush up against someone who's in a piss poor mood and it rubs off on you. For me that happens a lot in retail. I'll come across someone who's in a terrible mood and it affects me all throughout my shift, generally because the negative moods are more influential than the positive moods. I'm sick of retail but I've tried applying for other jobs and I never get so much as an interview. So I'm stuck in retail until things change. Being an empath is both a blessing and a curse and right now more curse than blessing, I just want it to go away right now.

I have a friend  SillySerpentine who's in some dire need of help. She just moved to a new state and is having trouble finding work and on top of that is being kicked out of the place her and her mate are living in and have to be out in a short amount of time.
