And then, after enjoying ONE FREAKING MONTH of your well-deserved retirement you get diagnosed with cancer, or some other horrible disease you wouldn't wish upon your greatest enemy.
And 9 months later you're DEAD!
Period! No one will remember who you are, and that's that.

Today I mearly witnessed a close friend of the family has passed away because of reality described above.
Well, to hell with the way of life most of us live our lives!
Why work your ass off until you retire to die early anyway? To hell with that!
I'm going to enjoy life. Once I have all that I want to accomplish, and fixed all the things I have broken (including friendships), THEN I can retire and die happily. I DO know that death is unevitable.

2. They did not read the sign that says 'No selling at MY door, and i'm already CONVERTED!'
There's no sense in arguing though, so I simply said: ' You religious people often get upset when scientists criticise some aspect of your beliefs. What you fail to appreciate is that scientists are equally critical about their own ideas and those of other scientists. Religions, in contrast, nearly always criticise everything except themselves...'
So they left...

I just learned that one of my grandmothers died. At least she died in her sleep, so she had no pain, even if she was heavily drugged with morfine.
A few hours later I receive a call stating that my other grandmother is also on the brink of kicking the bucket. Goddamnit!
On top of that my sister and her boyfriend broke up. that also was completely out of nothing.
Why is the saying 'Misery loves company' true? How I sometimes wish I could just wave some magic wand and that everything is allright again.
But then I realize that miracles DON'T happen, ever.
Oh well, I've got some planning to do.

I have a request to make.
I'm what you can call a Konami-fanboy. Now it so happens they have a black jacket for sale at their online shop. Problem is this: I live in the Netherlands, and naturally they don't ship to the country of windmills and wooden shoes. Reason (litterally): 'Europe isn't that of a market. We only ship to the US'. Still, people would see that as a insult, but this market will grow.
That said, I still don't have the jacket I want so bad.
That's where I ask you for help.
If anyone would be so kind to see what a shipment from USA to the Netherlands will cost, I'll pay the complete amount in advance (including the price for that jacket) if he/she would order AND send the jacket to the Netherlands, to yours truly.

I have a 250GB Maxtor S-ATA drive that's totally useless to me due to no more room (connect-wise) in my computer, and since I could let it do nothing for all eternity, I figured why not see if anyone in FA is interested!
The only thing it will cost is the price to send it to you, and I know it isn't much for Europe, but I don't know what it will be for crossing the atlantic, or all the way to Australia, even.
Let me know if this is reasonable or not.
I hope I can make someone happy with this!
