Yes, I'm still alive, but holding on. Between the time I was on last and this new journal, a lot of shit has hit the fan. I got married, and in December my Dad passed away. My old laptop also died and I lost a lot of artwork that I was working on. Then my tablet went on the fritz. So one of two things are going to be happening: I'm going to make a new profile and just keeping this one "half alive" or completely leave FA. I have promised tons of free work and since I lost all of the work I was working on, there might be a combination of both. But that would determine if I finally will get to stop waiting around on commissions.
If I do remake a new profile, there will be an upheaval on my commissions that will benefit both parties that would include a contract that would have me draw your art and (finally) get paid or have the trade finalized. Since I don't expect any response from anyone, I'll figure things out around the summer time which will give me time to figure out how I'm going to juggle work, little girl and drawing AND married life. (holy shitz, that's a lot to juggle.)
I always loved drawing, my biggest issue was that I would have someone promise pay and I would worry about if my art was worth it. Random Sad crap
General | Posted 10 years agoRecently I have been absent from Deviant Art/Fur Affinity for a very, very long time. Last time I had posted a journal I had promised to come back but I don't have anything to show anymore - I don't have a scanner (I just want the scanner part) and I need a new tablet and a new computer. The desktop I'm on right now (typing this) has small space to really put art on. I would have to delete everything once I post it.
I've got no commissions - no surprise there - and I have been slowly been catching up on promised art, and I have been taking care of my daughter, who is now 3 months. I won't have the funds for anything anytime soon. But I'll keep my profile up just incase I return and so people can "enjoy" my art.

General | Posted 11 years agoHey guys, sorry for the large amounts of inactivity. I've been very busy with trying to find a third job and with the tiredness that comes with being pregnant. I'm also getting over another art block.
Speaking of the baby, I'm currently 22 weeks! (Every week I found out starts on Sunday for me.) It's a girl and her name will be Serenity Ann-Marie Simons. Right now she's very healthy and loved AND spoiled already. She's very active and loves her daddy already. Apparently he knows how to rub my tummy right and knows when he's around. I've already got a fur designed for her but I won't post it until March!
Mmm~ Cravings are seasonal and Morning Sickness comes and goes.

General | Posted 11 years agoI lost my tablet pen in the move, so I've been unable to draw. Which is annoying. v3v
With everything going on I'm not surprised if I'm losing watchers or if people are bad mouthing me already. I'm almost to the point where I'm kinda done with media art until I get my own place and have the money to keep up with it. My roomie/friend said I could borrow her's but it's more expensive than mine so I don't really want to touch it. Maybe one day I'll have the touch screen ones where I can draw on it on the go and upload it on to FA... That'd be so nice.
The SOL part of that is that I might not be getting paid for being activated for the fires a couple weeks ago. There's a pay check that I won't see~ Good-bye hopes and dreams. *flushes toilet*
So I'm now just going to be a watcher until further notice. Lovely~ There's nothing wrong with it I guess. *pokes* I'm also on Gaiaonline again as Tismal.

General | Posted 11 years agoI'm officially moving out of my parent's place - hopefully never returning! Right now, I'm moving my stuff. I'm excited but a little sad. It's going to be weird for a while but hopefully - we all think though - this will be good for me. General | Posted 11 years agoSo I just paid off my insurance today (THANK YOU MILITARY) and is flat broke. Both my accounts (Savings and normal) has 0$ in it. Maybe a dollar in my normal account. So I'm doing commissions at the moment that I will do for up to 10$ for ANYTHING. Like, I'm crying here happy but sad. Donations will be given stuff to, maybe an icon or a small little thank you drawing.

General | Posted 11 years agoSo right now I'm taking a break from everything. (Not like I have commissions.) These past few weeks have been an emotional stroll through life that I'm tired and glad I have this distraction. I'm going to very large event in Amtgard called Rosewood. It's a 4 day, 3 night, giant LARPing thing and anyone can join!
I play Amtgard and if anyone doesn't know what it is its a Fantasy Medieval type thing where we swing foam weapons at each other, role play, craft and have fun. I have met the most amazing people and gained a lot of confidence since I started playing last year. I have also met my wonderful, brilliant boyfriend! (He keeps saying he wants to keep me, I have no idea why! lol)
There are different lands that do something like Rosewood but I'm in the Kingdom of Northern Lights (Washington) and my "land" (Park) is Shrouding Mist. I originate from Angel's Haven; but if anyone has heard of it, please don't post anything rude. My boyfriend is one of the current Monarchy of a different Kingdom (area) which will be joining NL (Northern Lights). His land is a new one in Auburn call Gilded Groves.
It's a lot but its quite simple once you get into it. But like I said, I need this break from reality. I'm losing family and my cousin just lost one of her grandpas too. My Biological ... Donator says that my Grandma D is dying of cancer. My boyfriend's grandpa is slowly leaving this world (He's 92 I think) but he's still fighting it. I miss when I was a kid and had all of my family together. I actually never had to worry about friends because I never really had many until Middle School.
I'm trying to quit with the sob story but it sucks and I ranble. It makes me feel a bit better. I'll be back Monday and hopefully in a better mood.

General | Posted 11 years agoSo last year today my friend committed suicide and accidentally took someone with him. No one has ever told me why, or I don't think anyone ever found out why he did it. He ran his car into a pole, hoping to run into one, going 180 miles per hour and accidentally hit and killed someone else.
My GP (Grandpa) passed away today at 1630 in the hospital. He had cancer. My GP had strokes and seizures and he left pretty quickly after my Ma told me that he was in the hospital on Sunday.
Seriously I hate Cancer! I FUCKING HATE CANCER.
And I'm serious, I don't care who you are, where you come from, furry or not, I will talk to you if you are having problems! Just don't kill yourself! I need every one of my followers because you guys give me motivation to get BETTER. I don't even see your faces but every watch gives me hopes. So you can have this rambling woman give you some kind of ... Well... Purpose in life even if its just watching my art. (as bad as it is.)

I guess I'm doing Heraldrys now for fun but also for something on the side. And I've been posting a lot more to my Deviant Art because i'm doing less furry work than anything. I'm trying to get my skill up for normal humans/humanoids... Which I think I should be doing during the day but I usually start around 10pm PST.
Furries are easy on my tablet (most of the time) and humanoids aren't. I'm better with them traditionally. Furries I'm not so great at on paper but on my tablet. I find this weird. So sorry for rare postings, not like I post much anymore anyways.

General | Posted 11 years agoUgh! I blame this Art Block that I got out of! Spontaneous art just popping out of my head! One is for a contest entry and one is something from this weekend at NLCC. (Northern Lights Coronation Campout)
What I want to do is garb but I need a sewing machine (which I'm going to borrow from a friend) and fabric! But no job. Gah!! I need to go out and look for one... But McDonald's hasn't called me yet to let me know if they want me or they found someone else.
So I'm not sure if everyone knows but I play Amtgard. My persona name is Ryze Darkflower and I'm in the kingdom of Northern Lights in the land of Shrouding Mist. I just got my first order of the Dragon (again) which means I had a drawing qualified enough for an award! (YAY!!) So I'm taking baby steps for that.
So if I'm ever not answering during the weekend that's why.
I have a request to do, the contest entry to work on, no commissions (I have one I should've started on forever ago) and no income. Oh! My bank hates me too, because of my car breaking down, I'm reallllyyyyy tight on money, like I'm almost in debt and the only thing keeping me afloat is my drill pay. But that's 273$ a month and rent is 200$ a month. =3= So I get 73$ to live off of.
I actually wouldn't mind holding off my contest entry for commissions right now. I feel petty always saying how much I need help all the time.

My poor Jelly Bean
General | Posted 12 years agoI had a miscarriage last night. I was watching Bones last night with my Ma when this happened. It started around 9:50ish pm and I was released 3:30 am this morning.
Jelly bean didn't make it to the hospital.
I was seven in a half weeks pregnant - A month in a half like my Ma and I predicted. New Years (as my dad puts it) was a great celebration for me. Yesterday and today... Not so much.
I'm not going to hurt myself - I promise. I understand that this happens, and it's not anyone's fault. So don't be too concerned if I post anything that would make you think that I would hurt myself. My family is crushed and I'm trying to keep it together as best as I can but it's hard to wake up this morning with the knowledge that I was going to be a Ma.
Good things I guess: My car is almost up and running again (We had to replace the engine. My boyfriend and his Dad were cursing the whole way through it. Yay Fords.) Um... I'm still alive and technically healthy. And I didn't get new clothes yet because I wanted to see if I would show. >x< Brighter stuff...

New 3DS Code
General | Posted 12 years agoI'm not sure if anyone knows, but it seems if you buy the 3DS, one thing that goes out is the camera. *sighs* Well, I bought it like that and finally and (thank my lordess!) that my 3DS was still under warranty. So I got my camera all fixed up like brand new! <3 I had to make a new Mii but I knew my Nintendo ID so I kept a lot of my games back. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to re-download a lot of stuff. (But most of my games are the game cards!)
Everything but my friend code I could get back.
SO I have a new friend code and anyone who wants it just PM theirs and hopefully I could be of some use. If you're in the Puyallup DS network than hopefully we could just street pass. I hope many of you play either Y or X (pokemon) or Harvest Moon. I would really like to battle and build some more!
